The Arachidonic Acid Help Guide

I do not know if anyone has posted any of these, but from my understanding coffee may positively help the uptake of Arachidonic Acid the same way Carnitine does.

As for this, I am not sure if this is a positive or negative effect from Fenugreek on ara?

I would greatly appreciate opinions on this from anyone with knowledge about how this works.

Very interested in interpreting that 2nd study, as fenugreek is included in the creacore i've been using.

if one works out 4 times a week should I keep the 1000mg per workout or increase it?. I am still debating if I'm gonna try a simple ara stack or instead an ai plus testbooster

4x a week would be fine at 1 gram.

My plan is this:

Training 3x a week for month one using 1.5g pre workout. Totals 4.5g a week.

Training 4x a week for two months using 1.25g pre. Totals 5g a week. I was thinking the overall increase / frequency in total ara would over ride the initial drop in the dose.

For month one I will just be using lclt alongside. For month two I will add ABE

I thought you couldn't/shouldn't use ARA ched?

Original diagnoses from 2012 was ankylosing spondylitis- a form of arthritis. Tests from recently (last month) show no signs of arthritis or inflammatory condition. In fact, they chalked it up to over training. A REAL LIFE case of someone working too hard and not recovering appropriately. Got my diet and sleep fixed, scaled back the ridiculous volume of workouts and things are looking way up. I won't be starting the ara til October pending my last round of blood work which I just had drawn on Tuesday.

Well that's good news :D

Great news man. Glad you finally nailed down the real issue. Sounds like you found a doc that knows a more then just textbook diagnoses

Yea thanks. Hardest part is knowing your own limits and not pushing them too far while trying to progress

So I'm really looking forward to finally being able to try a product with such great feedback and studies

Always great to hear from educated consumers, who stay up to date with the latest research, and base their purchases on the facts!

What's the current thinking regarding interaction of green tea/ecgc with arachidonic acid? I see numerous studies out there suggesting green tea has effects on arachidonic acid metabolism, but the specifics are going right over my head as to whether this would be positive or negative for an AA run. I drink at least 1 cup of matcha green tea per day... Is this one of those things I should schedule as far away from AA as possible, or suspend altogether?

Also, while on the subject of AA interactions, I've got some amentomax on the way too. I don't think there's any issue with amentoflavone and AA, right? Just making sure.

From what I recall, Amento and ArA will have some synergy together...and I wouldn't worry about the 1 serving/day of MM, any negative interactions with ArA will inconsequential in the bigger picture of things..

Ya Amentoflavone is fine with ArA. :)

I wouldn't run both together though. Both give significant strength increase. Ara alone is good enough. Why not run them separate? Just my opinion.

I would. Increased fat loss, mood and performance benefits, insulin sensitivity, and pumps :)

I prefer the "all or nothing" approach personally :D

Like stacking AAS with other AAS

So just to reiterate: if we do practice pre-workout nutrition (i.e. a banana and a protein shake 45 minutes pre), ArA should be ingested after a few warmup sets?

And second, how long would it take the ArA to reach the muscle if on an empty stomach it takes 45 minutes (per requirements on the bottle)?

Lastly, for those of us on a tight caloric regimen, do you count the calories in ArA? After all, if we count the fat and calories from fish oil, shouldn't we count them from ArA?

1) That's what I do. Take them after my warm-up.

2) No idea. Well, I could look but I'm on phone.

3) You count the calories in fish oil? We are talking less than 18 calories here. Not going to make or break a diet.

Cool, thanks.

And yeah, when you're on very low cals every little bit counts.

If one cap is 625mg of oil supplying 250mg of Ara, that's about 34 cals for 1.5 grams. Like I said, for some it's a nothing amount, and it won't make or break the diet at all, but for some that are on contest prep diets or engaging in something similar it just helps to know these things for the sake of tracking.

My mistake, lets assume someone takes 2g of Ara that has 625mg of oil per pill. 625 x 8 = 5g. :D

Sorry if this has already been mentioned, but should I discontinue my daily dose of orange triad because of the glucosamine?

Can I also stack ArA with my current stack: Beta Alaine, Caffeine, ALCAR (gonna use both ALCAR and LCLT because I got ALCAR for free), and Citrulline Malate?

Just dose the Orange Triad 4+ hours away from ArA. Rest of ur stack is fine.

Since I have to be on an empty stomach, is it okay to take ArA with crystal light? (I mix crystal light with my pwo)

Nah save it for after.

Thank you.

Also, are there any benefits of stacking alcar and lclt together for this run? Or should I just use the alcar i got for free after the cycle?

Don't mix carnitine salts.

LCLT for androgen protection/reduced doms
ALCAR for nootropic/reduced doms

If you can't like what's stated in the first post 81mg of aspirin is acceptable. It's what I use.

Hey guys about 2 and a half weeks into my first ArA cycle and had a question. I am currently very busy and have to start training early mornings. I noticed that you should take it completely fasted or about 45 minutes preworkout. I typically like to have a protein shake and piece of fruit as I am not a fan of training completely fasted (don't perform as well), would it be beneficial to now take the ArA and ALCAR after my warm up sets?

Yes, that's fine. I eat an hour before my workout (banana + whey) and pop ArA after my warmup sets.

Guys, has anyone of you heard about pure labs, in the uk (I am form europe) they have an Ara product with 450mg per pill at a very good price, this is the product i

Any help?

Do they have the profile of it as well that would show what % is ArA? Also if it's licensed from Cargill?

Very underdosed from the looks of it.

Snap, so each cap just has 45mg ArA...meaning to get to the recommended 1 g ArA, you'd take 22 caps/day...no good..
