Happy Thursday! Got a lot done on the cake last night but forgot to eat dinner since I was teaching a friends kid how to make cakes. Had a few bites of chicken and 2 spoons of pb. Still only hit 1400...it's was a rest day though and only did the HIIT no weights. Arms today! Had a great workout! Had to get a guy to put the plates on my lap for bench dips bc I cramped up under my clavicle on reg dips(old injury) First thing he said was "all of those?" Lol Yep! ... He challenged me though- took the 25 off then each 45 one by one making me do more! Talk about a pre burn out! Made them nice and dead for the rest of the workout! Haha

I'm in extremely late but in nonetheless. Im amazed by your concentration curls. You really should have someone record you and put that on youtube. Holy hell most men I see aren't doing that much! What's that nifty little nutrient thing you got there? Is it an app? Oh and snagency how did you do those emoticons? I want to post little pac mans throwing rocks too.

Kat how are you doing the concentration curls? Seated or bent over standing? Are you starting with your arm fully extended to the ground?

Most ppl can barbell curl 2-2.5x what they strict concentration curl so 45 lb concentration curl is roughly equivalent to 100-110 lb barbell curl, fwiw.

I typically do 60-75 lb for that rep range so 45 lb is pretty awesome for your bw.

Thanks everyone! I do them seated, arm fully extended. I' e always been stronger with these for some odd reason and as I've gotten stronger it has just increased! I don't usually do that much because I like to fully concentrate on the form and contraction.

Happy Friday! Still had to baby my back but it's starting to tick me off! I was fuming on the circuit bc I couldn't do most of it without hurting! Made some alterations and pushed through! Wore my belt for squats and it allowed me to get a decent weight on the bar but mobility is still not 100%

Walking lunges 25x22 -across the room and back

Squats SS w/ oblique crunches 3 sets of 12
95x12--constant tension- no lock
135x10
155x4- stopped due to pain

Ham killers (slow decent, held 3 secs at bottom, and tried to use the bar as little as possible )
3 sets of 12 (30 sec rest between sets)

Calf press
Single leg- 2 plates x25
Both legs - 4 plates x25
Both legs dropset -6 plates x20, 5P x10, 4x10, 3x10, 2x20-failure

Hip thrusts on smith machine- kept light

I've got 3 cake orders and a cookie order! Lol But lots of date nights! :) Thank you!! I agree! One of my girls said I look leaner every day---a little exaggerated but encouraging nonetheless.

It was pretty good! I was starving after my leg workout- figured I'd scarf it down but I should've stuck with the kids meal size! Lol

Really? I'm very familiar with Benton! Went there many times! My Dad worked out there for a while too! Stars like famous people? No, I don't think so.
 
I rented a mobile home on 30 acres that was adjacent to international Paper property(1000 acre tract). I can't remember the peoples name but there was a tack and feed store there in White Hall. They had a couple sons and the father was very active in the White Hall church. I had some good times there! You would've been about 6/7 years old then. Lol

Very nice work love2liftkat very impressive!!!

If I may make a suggestion to improve your form, you will get a much better contraction if you keep your elbow on the inside of your thigh and not let it roll on top of it. By doing that you create a lever taking resistance off the weight. Put the point of your elbow down on the inside of your thigh, at the top of the movement the lower part of your triceps just above the elbow should still be in contact with your inner thigh.

This will definitely force you to use a little bit lighter weight but you will feel the difference in the quality of the contraction.
