Mixed bag, but overall progress. No box jumps or ab work due to fatigue - it's been a looooong week.
Squat - 375 for 6 sets of 4. HUGE PR.
rest between sets was lower than usual, and I banged this out in 35 minutes or so, which is great considering how out of shape I am.
My lifetime PRs in the squat were a crappy 365 x 4 and 405 x 1, so I'm pretty happy.
Hack squat - attempts with 5, 6, and then 4 plates per side - nope. Not happening. The squats required a lot of effort and I was mentally burned out.
So I decided to let out my closet bodybuilder.
Leg ext / leg curl - 200 / 165, 190 - 2 sets of 10.
Parking lot lunges: 100 yards (?)
BW for 2 sets and 65lb for 1 set.
This was the toughest thing I've ever done, and exposes a huge weakness. They hit the heart and lungs much harder than the legs, so I guess this is my "cardio" for a while.
