never to old to learn something, lol....what advantages do you see and feel doing it this way over just sticking the glute?

Very much quite the opposite. It is extremely energizing. If I do not take it by 7am, I am up until midnight.

I guess that means pregnenolone isn't for me as I've read from multiple sources that it has more energizing effects. Thank you for the reply.
 
Yeah, that likely could be, because it is very noticeable within 30 min. Nothing speedy like a typical stimulant with raised heart rate or increased body temp, but just a feeling of, "ok, let's get some stuff done" and then no fade throughout the day. I've cut coffee consumption from 2 cups to a 1/2 cup in the morning.

Wish I had that effect. It would be nice to eliminate caffeine in the morning. One benefit I did notice from it was a large reduction in anxiety (about as much as Bacopa provided).

Yeah, that is definitely an effect. However, good that you are aware of the comparison to Bacopa because that is good for you (Bacopa) on several levels and will likely always be part of my brain health stack.

Pull the plunger out and load from back with a 22g that you can reuse for loading. Carefully Hold the plunger so it won't leak when you turn it over. Let the air bubble rise then push plunger up and squeeze air out. HIT IT!

the V.A sends me a testosterone injection kit....alcohol swabs/syringes/18's for drawing and 22's for injecting. actually i am impressed by my care at the V.A, they have exceeded my expectations!!!!
 
They all should, but we are saying that, there shouldn't be any need to keep reusing a needle. Toss it and use a new one each time.

5 seconds of air exposure will not effect how sterile anything is. I wouldn't put the plunger on the counter or anything.

Also, nobody said anything about reusing a pin twice, or to use the same pin to inject that you use to pull from. He only suggesting pulling with a larger pin and injecting the oil into the end of a briefly opened slin pin. If you do this without touching the pin or plunger against any object, it's not going to alter sterility.

With that being said, I usually warm my oil up under warm water if I'm going to pull with a slin pin. I don't mind it taking a minute or so to pull. Slin pins are super easy, I can shoot anywhere with them, even sub-q, when it's less than a CC. Completely fine to do this.

Don't think anyone mentioned reusing a needle in this thread. Pretty sure we all have the smarts to use a new one ;)

why aren't you using the screw off interchangable type? that would eliminate any risk, imo. much easier too

I use BD Ultrafine pins when using slin pins, and I never take the plunger out with them. They are the smoothest slin pins I've ever used. They pull like they have a larger gauge in comparison with other pins of equal gauge (and I use 31's for slins).

When I use regular pins, all of them are the interchangable screw off type. I always draw with one pin, switch, and pin with a fresh pin.Slin pins I can get away with drawing and pining with since the gauge is so small. Many people do this. I would never draw and pin with the same pin when using larger gauge pins though, and not because of sterility concerns, but because drawing with any pin will dull the head of the pin when pushing into the vial. Small gauge pins have less of a concern as they will not cause scar tissue, even if slightly blunted from using to draw. Using a slin pin is like pushing into butter. Smoooooth.

Easy to explain:

Some people use slin pins when doing multiple shots per week (people who need to keep E2 down and want more stable test levels do this). Slin pins are difficult to pull oil into though. What the OP was talking about, was using a larger gauge syringe, seperate from the slin pin, and injecting the oil into the open back end of the slin pin. Put the plunger back in, push the air out, and then pin. Toss after use. There is no reusing of any pins in this equation. You toss the slin pin and you toss the draw pin/syringe after use. 2 separate pins being used here.
 
Ok, gotcha. I also use an e3.5d protocol, but I did not understand what was being explained regarding the slin.

I still don't feel comfortable by taking the plunger out and charging from the back. Even if this is a 5 seconds manipulation.

True, it leaves more room for error. Would have to be pretty careful. I'm happy with my BD Ultrafine's. They pull nicely and feel like butter too.
 
I'm so confused...

I have hundreds of syringes and two guages of pins for like less than $30

Reusing/recycling whatever just don't understand
 
The thread got way off topic haha.. don't worry. Nobody is reusing or recycling pins, just talking about different gauges and methods, as well as ways to load slin pins if using them.

Yesterday- 16.2

My DHEA levels went from

273 Range 31- 701 (ng/dL) to
615 Range 31- 701 (ng/dL)

This was taken 4 days after last 50mg injection.

well worth the only slight increase in e2!!! nice free test in relation to total....if you were at 800 total test i would consider your results ideal!!!

Yeah, thanks! I could very easily get my test numbers up, but I stopped caring about the total test number a long time ago. My two priorities are 1) how do I feel? 2) what is the relation of all my numbers. As we know, you can chase one number and throw everything else off.

I am going to stop the trasdermal DHEA, and start sublingual DHEA and Preg.

BTW - transdermal Chrysin is supposed to be a great AI.

Did you adjust your Formeron dose when you added your DHEA & Preg supps? Or was your Formeron dose consistent in your pre and current bloodwork?

what is your age and weight? i like 4 pumps on heavy activity days and get by with 2 on slower days...my weight is slightly over 200lbs.

yup....at your weight 1 pump is a very light dose, indeed....you might be able to get away with a lower maintenance dose, but i would stick with 4 until you start to feel it at least!!!

Just an update- I decided today that I am going to lower my dosage to 12.5mg Preg and keep my DHEA at 25mg for to assess. What I have found is that this boundless physical and mental energy is affecting my sleep. I realized that since starting pregnenlone, I sleep about 4-5 hours a night and I wake up with a ton of energy, but lately I have been slightly agitated. Knowing that insomnia and energy are side effects of higher doses of preg (my doc said we would taper down to 5-10mg in a couple months), I feel I am starting to see it.

Outside of that, everything is amazing as it has been.

I noticed that last night, laying there wide awake at 2am isn't fun.
 
The funny thing is that it doesn't bother me because I wake up feeling like I slept 8 hours. I am just trying this to see if it helps the sleeping.

Great update. Will be waiting to see how you feel after dropping the dose down some.
 
It also sounds like the body can take excess preg and increase progesterone, which in turn can lower DHT. I'll be honest, that for as amazing as I feel, sex just isn't near the top of my list and I just kind of assumed it was because I was feeling so good I wasn't thinking about it in combination with everyday stress. Then I started thinking back and realized that it may be because my DHT is down and crashing my libido.
 
Dermacrine hit me hard this morning in a good way, used 4 pumps and 20 min later felt like I had a massive dose of caffeine without any jitters or anxiety. My vision became super clear, colors are way more clear and intense. The smell was really annoying to me, but a couple hours later it dissipates and the smell is 90% gone. No change in sex drive, but that may take some time. Very nice feeling knowing it actually produced a nice effect, and I haven't had one stimulant. I wonder if it really needs to be dosed at 4 pumps daily? There's gotta be a maintenance dose, anyone ramp up their DHEA and Preg levels, then cruise on a lower dose by chance?

keep it at 4 pumps until full effects kick in....are you planning long term usage or just a trial run?

i am on 4th straight bottle of dermacrine, i loved 4-5 pumps when 1st starting but then aggression got high....now i am fine at 2 pumps, but on days i need more boost i up it to 4----maybe 2-3 times a week depending on what i am doing.....off days definately only 2 pumps. you could just use a 2 pump maintenance dose daily, but i like the extra boost on gym days, or days when my work is very physical...and besides i get mine at a REALLY good price, lol.

btw- i like the smell, lol.

I think you've got the right idea on gym/rest day dosages. I'm looking at running Dermacrine longterm, my next blood panel will be done in early May, so I'm looking forward to seeing how my DHEA levels have changed since my last blood panel.
