forskolin 95 adverse reaction.

So...turns out im allergic or hypersensitive to forskolin. 50 mg at 200+ lbs and I get headaches, vomiting, low blood, abdominal cramps and pain, nausea, and a ringing in my ears. Confirmed via taking a 20% extract and forskolin 95 and an allergy test. That sucks. Anyone else have the same problem? Now I know how those yohimbine intolerant people feel.

Did an 8 week run at 150 (50 from ABE) without any issues

You'll find most won't have this same issue, but it doesn't mean you don't have some sort of allergy to it.

I was just wondering if I was alone.

I've seen people with some minor GI issues from it but nothing to the level you're reporting. Sorry to hear dude!

Its not AS or pes's fault. Just is what it is.

If I ever do have pains or gi distress from any supp or stim I just power through it and end up building a tolerance to the sides..
It works pretty well for me..

Sucks man. I frequently get GI sides from Forskolin at all extract levels even F-95. They do subside over time to an extent.

I'm sure you can sell the rest of your bottle. I have issues with Y at a certain level so I somewhat know the feeling about not being able to use something good.

Honestly if it was just a little GI distress I may agree, but the sides he is experiencing sound awful. I don't think Forskolin is nearly good enough (and I think it's good I run it a lot) to warrant "powering through" that.

It sounds like you may want to possibly see if there are underlying issues

What else have you taken in the past that cause similar issues.

Are you taking it with or without food?

Pyro,

Don't I recall hyperinsukinemia? Confirmed by high c-pep?

That increases glp-1 and slows transit of food, and forskolin mimics the glp-1 actions

True his sides do sound pretty extreme

I was joking, indicated by the included gif. To "power through" something that is causing obvious problems is just ridiculous to me.

Lol I know. Im tired today. Friggin leg day. Making me sound blunt.

I threw away my last pill. Was getting ER worthy. In my head I was like " momma didn't raise no *****!" Then the low bp sides came and I curled up on the bed cold and clammy. Chucked that bish in the next hour lol

Yeah, when I "power through" something, it's usually nasty tasting protein or food.

Dyamitize's old vanilla casein flavor? Lol!

The new flavoring is much better

I was just talking in general.. Not about the crazy sides he got.. Lol. Vomiting, low bp, and nausea sound nuts and I would have went to the DR to check my insides..
Specifically, my biggest powering through something was the fire a$$ I got from creatine loading (now I know you don't need to load..not what the instructions said on the tub tho)

Sorry to hear pyro, haven't heard this from anyone else.

Low bp is common with forskolin.
Coupled with a gda im surprised you didn't hear more.

But!!! Im also a morning trainee. Less food in me could also contribute.

Lol. Yeah. I have to lay down and pray with yohimbine sometimes haha. No possible way I could power through it a couple times.

It is common for forskolin to lower BP, but low BP is not common. You are definitely hypersensitive and you did the right thing by discontinuing use.

Someone in the gym told me "no pain no gain". This is after he told me he herniated a vertebral disc when deadlifting lol.

This is definitely not one of the instances where you should power through.

Remember, if in doubt just send it to me.

C'mon man. Works perfect on a cut. How can you take in calories while vomiting all the time? :)

The human body is such a strange thing. We always say things don't work the same in everyone, but it's so weird how some things REALLY don't work for some people and how some people can be completely fine with it. Prime example here.

Sucks to hear that you had such a bad reaction, man. It's a sh**ty feeling to be one of the only people having a bad reaction to a universally loved supplement. I just went through the same thing with Na-R-ALA, and am still really disappointed. Everyone's body has it's limits for one reason or another.

Agreed ;)

That said, it's also nice and moreover important to hear others post up when they react adversely or uncommonly to popular or widely used supps.

This way, it opens the doors for potentially important dialogue related to sides and/or health issues not often discussed as well as providing a platform for others in his shoes to bring their concerns to the table too.

IMO it was also nice (dare I say" refreshing") to not have to witness all the typical supplement-company-supporting-zombie-trolls come out of the woodworks blasting him for "God forbid" going against the grain of a popular supplement and popular company on this board as well and providing his personal feedback.

THIS is how these boards SHOULD work - but too often .... DO NOT

Oooooohhh IF ONLY!!
