Montego an Snagency tag-team with FINAFLEX in the corner

3x5 sounds like it would be very easy to follow, both from the reader and the user perspective. Interdasted to see what it produces.
Is there a cardio plan as well?
very simple indeed..transition plan is what I use this for
as for cardio, whatever level you want to do, nothing built-in with it
I will continue 3-4x weekly cardio sessions, and I like 30min LISS structure

I've never been able to use LISS. My attention span won't allow it. I'm like a fücking goldfish in that aspect. I'll end up starting to run a couple minutes into it.

ahh man, you're in a whole nother stratosphere right now..
I cannot compete with your hormonal concoction, nor your current training intensity for that matter
just doing my best to accomplish what I need to, for my own progress
is fun tho, trying to keep up! :p

how bout some MISS then?
I never liked LISS myself, till I started doing it regularly prepping for last show..was always a shorter time, HIIT kinda guy
what I noticed is, I can accomplish almost the same results, with less effort/wear & tear on body (albeit more time spent)
just watch some tv, or read a book .. something to keep the mind occupied, and ignore the clock

Uh i didn't time rest.......I would say around a minute or less unless it was a drop set. Those had no rest just enough time to strip the weight.

The step ups and leg curls were no rest since I did one leg at a time and alternated. Whole workout was about an hour but add in the extra time it took me to find the right weights.....Probably forty five minutes.

Tomorrow is back. Probably throw in shoulders with this and calves and abs. Tomorrow gonna be torture :)

Solid work boss. I'd have to check the program, but he'll probably have you switching between BB, DB, and Smith stiff-legged deads. The sessions are going to be a lot longer when the volume cranks up in phase 2.

Ahhhhh. I looked at the channel for his form on the sldl and saw the Smith variation. Guess I need to be a bit more thorough lol.

Ok couldn't stand it lol. Leg pic

Lol not a big deal. He usually describes how to do them. Sometimes the focus is just on the top or bottom half of the movement.

...and your legs are looking ridiculous. That's some crazy vascularity brother.

Ok so today was pretty intense. I did a ton of extra sets trying to find the right weights for my working sets so next time I shouldnt have as high a work load probably lol. Everything went well though and I had a little wobble going on leaving the gym.

(Only working sets were documented.)

Barbell stiff leg deadlifts on smith machine (saw this on his channel and decided to go with that.)
255x6
255x6
275x6

Leg press with 3 second negatives (Last two sets were almost disasters. The last rep on sets 2 and 3 had a normal negative and not a 3 second one.....if they had i would be brokededid in two right now lol. simply brutal)
675x8
675x8
675x8

Hack Squat (The drop sets sucked.)
260x8 (Pause at the very bottom just short of hitting stops)
260x8 drop
180x8 drop
120x8

Step Ups (These sucked too lol. My legs were fried after the leg press though)
30's x 10 (One leg at a time stepping up to a high bench. 10 reps each leg)
30's x 10

Lying Leg Curls (Did these on the Hammer Strength Free Weight machine. Dont like this machine at all because to get a GOOD squeeze the weight takes off on its own then bounces back into your calf. Very easy to get injured on this fukker. Cybex machine was taken but next time thats where these will be done.)
35 x 25 (One leg at a time to try and control weight better.)
35 x 25 (Had to force the last two or three reps on each leg.)

And thats it. Stretched a bit after cause I could feel some tightness in my hams. Didnt puke. It was good.

Ok couldn't stand it lol. Leg pic

Nice work, and legs are looking sick man! Vascular to the point of freakish! Go give some blood man!!!! You gotta have a very high hemotacrit level right now with the extended tren run. I would recommend giving a red + plasma donation so they put some saline back in you. You will feel like superman. Don't want so many red blood cells that your blood moves like sludge. Only has to be 3 days since your last TRT shot. They don't care about orals there. Not that you want to offer up the info. I just read it on a very detailed list of what was okay and was not.

This is in store for me in the morning. Based on your comments, this should be ummm fun! Going to sub out the leg press for squats as I do not have a leg press.

Legs look massive, only thing they need is some sun!

Oh. Lol. Yeah I gotta buckle down even more lately.

I swear the cereal section at the grocery store was taking to me lol.

Bout to knock out my LISS. Gonna read the new issue of Flex and zone out.

I really like your transitional 3-5 program, Snags. Looks all business & should def at least hold size/strength at worst.

Monty....got them Tren legs brah. Lookin sick & thick!

Today is gonna be PAAAAAIN!

So since I skipped the shoulder portion of MD on chest day earlier this week due to time constraints I'm adding it into my back day. I must say.....this is gonna be rough lol.

Aaaaaand since I'm young dumb and full of comeuppance I'll be doing abs and calves too.

Come get some!

Saw this in the news section...yep. I agree.

OVERTRAINING IS OVERRATED “New research shows that over- training is about as likely as winning the lottery,” Pakulski contends. “Overtraining is a state that exists systematically throughout your entire body, not within one muscle. Its a chronic condition that afects your central nervous, endocrine, and muscular systems. As long as youre giving your body adequate rest and time to recover, overtraining isnt even a thought.” Youre not going to overtrain because of what you do in the gym. Youre going to overtrain because of what you dont do out of the gym,—nourish and rest your body sufficiently.

Was reading up in Flex magazine about overtraining especially because ct Fletcher is an advocate for overtraining your arms. Turns out if you were to train something more than once a week, the best bet is to lift arms or a smaller muscle group other than lifting legs. Ct is kinda right :D

Well yeah.......arms are a much smaller muscle group so there isn't as much damage done to as much muscle. Hence you recover faster since its a smaller area.

I absolutely love the guys intensity.....but, that's about it.

Matt Porter has a nice article in that edition been meaning to pick it up.

Something for the boys in here to check out... Invalid Link Removed

Couldn't agree more myself

Deadlift/squat/bench 2-3xs week at large work volume and 90-95% of max and you won't be able to do the same work after a month (unless you're on PEDs/ AAS). I agree through for most people overtraining is impossible. I wouldn't even try to do what I listed above. I see symptoms of overtraining after 6 weeks of my program which is why a Deload is incorporated. Monte you are right on w the recovery of the cns playing a big part in it. The other opportunity for OT you don't see much is actually breaking down connective tissues from using too much weight w no time to recover why manifests itself as joint pain etc and eventually injuries. You could argue overtraining is also training too much and not resting enough to the point you don't make any more progress. The issue is some people do too much and some don't do enough so you don't make blanket statements. The body also adapts over time to work capacity so things can change or you can work out of a plateau yourself. I don't think overtraining like some people think if it exists. There's a lot more too it. And 99/100 times someone thinks they are, they aren't.

uh, yeah no doubt
even if you ARE on AAS, that kind of exertion will take a toll at some point..cannot do it forever

Heavy Side Laterals
good gawd I guess them were heavy!

oh - did someone say earlier that cereal in the grocery was calling their name?
here's a slice of what I got in my pantry..not as impressive as it was tho couple weeks back, I since ate up all my raisin bran and my kid been demolishing the reese's and honeycomb :p

I agree. Most advanced PL templates do just that 2x not 3. Guys like mariusz pudzianowski (sorry for ba d spelling) actually do it though.

Thing is we realize its not something sustainable... Some people don't and try it and wonder what's wrong.

I hate you.....I love all those peanut butter cereals lol.

The laterals......now I do bend my arms a bit. I'm not straight armed while doing these. I prefer the slight bend in the elbow cause I can feel the tension through the whole movement. When i do them with straight arms it hurts my elbow and then I lose the tension at the bottom.

That's why the weight is as high as it is. Plus the fact I'm gifted in shoulder strength.

I'm pretty sure an intervention is in order here :-)

Nice work I do them as "swings" and I prefer the seated lateral raise machine. Constant tension and I can use heavier weight. Just preference really.

Nice work buddy

yes I figured it was a combination of both not-too-strict form & natural strength

I had like 48 boxes when I moved ahahaaa no joke :D

I'm so jealous of that cereal collection...

Dude. Looked at the top 2 guys in your class - you look leaner now than them on stage Monty; I'm not playin'. Keep driving, trust the diet, & remember that whether you think you can or can't, you're right.

The guy who won that division had some big quads....he had me there. But everywhere else I'm as big if not bigger.

Buuuuut if I enter the Open as planned MrKleen73 well be there too :)

Awesome bro!

I think I'll be re-appearing on stage July 12 as well....also as a NEW light heavy ;-)

Yeee yeeee!

I would be full of it if I said I wasn't extremely nervous lol. I've never competed and I've got some serious reservations about going through with it. Not knowing what to do. Not knowing if I'll be as good as I think I will. But I've got all of you guys in my corner. snagencyV2.0 iparatroop and MrKleen73 and team FINAFLEX all have my back and are helping me all they can.

Like they say in car racing "shake or break" that's what's gonna happen come show time.
