Is it bad that I'm the one in yoga pants? If your going shirtless, ya gotta rock high socks, and hot chicks in yoga pants are strictly a must!
Sorry troop but that was the post of the day...No, we have not. And don't go thanking this guy napalm, I see that.
Yeah, he has the wisdom of youth and the energy of old age.Sorry troop but that was the post of the day...
They're challenging at the least. My definition of awesome includes crown royal and sportscenter so...Man both of those workouts look awesome! You must feel like you are getting in great overall shape eh?
Sounds like your body is running predominantly off of fats which would make sense since all of your training as of late has been metabolic in nature you are probably burning 700 cals throughout the day just in general function from that. That type of training releases a lot of fat to be burned for energy. Plus you are only taking in what 100-150g of carbs a day. Gotta get those cals from somewhere. They're challenging at the least. As far as getting in shape, yeah, it's fun to see the changes from day to day. 177.6 this morning and leaner than yesterday. I dogged on CF for a long time because when I'd watch it, it always looked like snap city waiting to happen. I like it, thus far, as it's fun. That being said, I do miss playing with heavier weights.
Funny thing I've noticed over the last week. I'm craving fats, big time. I know I'm setting myself up for a quote edit, but I've been eating a lot of nuts to get my fix. I don't crave carbs at all, just fats.
:dunno:My definition of awesome includes crown royal and sportscenter so...
wow man, that is lean indeedAs far as getting in shape, yeah, it's fun to see the changes from day to day. 177.6 this morning and leaner than yesterday.
lol i'll be nice since it's my first day back, cut you some slack on quote edit :study:Funny thing I've noticed over the last week. I'm craving fats, big time. I know I'm setting myself up for a quote edit, but I've been eating a lot of nuts to get my fix. I don't crave carbs at all, just fats.
There's always one.*Insert fats and nuts joke here*
I hope that's the reasoning behind it all. And yeah, 100-150g is about right. I may even up that at this point.Sounds like your body is running predominantly off of fats which would make sense since all of your training as of late has been metabolic in nature you are probably burning 700 cals throughout the day just in general function from that. Although I don't drink much anymore, I used to smash some crown. I may have a drink every few weeks now.:dunno: my drink back in the day used to be crown & 7 .. wow man, that is lean indeed lol i'll be nice since it's my first day back, cut you some slack on quote edit :study: srs tho -- i too know what it is like to crave fats, actually crave them more than carbs overall, all the time
Of course this would come from you.I'm the exact opposite right now Dave. I crave carbs and pu$$y. Not fat nuts.
Cancel the order bro!So, I ordered these things today.

Then, a couple hours later a buddy of mine shows up and says he has a pair of these that he's worn twice and hates and will trade for a pair of boots. Damnit.

Nope, trading the nike sfb for the reeboks and keeping both pair of lifting shoes. I can get the sfb for $90 anyway, no biggie. Plus, ordered from rogue and it shipped right after I ordered it.Cancel the order bro!

dammit....the Adidas do kinda look like bowling shoes!! Oh well, I still like emThose Adidas look kinda like bowling shoes. The Reeboks look smooth though.
Thats some gnarly skin and blisters! way to go brother!
Those workouts look intense.....I'm realizing my current path says "no no" to those WOD things lol.Hands are tore up... Looks pretty awesome. So I was looking at that site a little more and thing I am going to use some of the WOD as metabolic conditioning drills in place of some of the cardio. Looks punishing but a lot more fun than typical HIIT or cardio.
Damn Koopa, ain't ya got no gloves to protect them gropers? We'll see what Santa brings.
Just for you buddy, enjoy.

Meh... just depends, I think with a lot of the ones I have seen on the site are definitely very hard but shouldn't be a problem for recovery as long as not done to frequently with your training. However they would probably need to replace your other cardio and conditioning instead of adding to them. If anything workouts like this would benefit the metabolism so long as when doing your weight training you trained for hypertrophy and adjusted your calories for it you would be fine gaining like that. Of course some of the WODs would cut into your recovery to the point they would be detrimental so you would have to pick and choose which ones you did for conditioning. Those workouts look intense.....I'm realizing my current path says "no no" to those WOD things lol.
this is good to knowThose schlongslingers look intense.....I'm realizing my current path says "no no" to those things.

Did you purchase the program? I can't seem to access any of the specific programs. I browse mobile though. For those of you who don't know what Kleen is referring to, it's right here.Hands are tore up... Looks pretty awesome. I'm not a huge fan of gloves. It seems to me that when I use them, I lose some of my grip strength, probably because it takes away millimeters of overall length of the hand when closing. I feel like I have more time before my grip expires without them. Plus, I prefer my hands to be harder than softer. You're not always gonna have a pair of gloves accessible when you want to move some shlt.Damn Koopa, ain't ya got no gloves to protect them gropers?
He likes schlongs though, a lot.this is good to know really
I haven't pulled the trigger on it, but the site actually had a lot of the WOD on it in the forum plus his blog has the WOD. However the OMOB workout is a little different more weight intensive. Lots of different things they use to be in the singles to triples rep ranges with cluster sets and stuff. So you end up with higher volume at a little higher percentages. I had to kind of look at a few logs on the forum to kind of see some of it. You can get to all the different areas by going to www.endofthreefitness.com and following the various links. One is to the OMOB program / book part, another takes you to the actual forums where I found more info. It is when combining the conditioning of the WOD with the strength and endurance of the OMOB you get the balanced fitness you are looking for. Most of the OMOB guys are getting results on par with 5/3/1 as far as strength goes. One of the best parts of the www.endofthreefitness.com is the D-I-Y corner for making a garage / home gym. Has a way to make a prowler for $100 and several other cool things like a power rack, gymnastic rings, and the like.So I'll throw some baby powder on the soles and go bowling after I lift. Multipurpose shoes.

Yep, a little painful, especially when I washed it.fawkkkkk that looks ouchy pop tarts for pre? I might do some post, but not pre.. been digging the WMS for pre, and also use that post as part of a 120g carb load based on wms/dextrose/rice and brown rice syrup (along with some isolate in 1:2 ratio)
I'm gonna start filing down these here callouses. This shlt is ludicrous.lol show off! but really dude learn to tape that ish! your gonna rip your palm off one day lol
Water was bad enough. I'll just get some tape going tomorrow.Yeah.....chalk plus dry skin plus weights equals torn up hands. Put some liquid bandage on those...that's always fun.
Thank you, thank you. I be tryin. So sexy showing all that pink up in here... Nice workouts though!
SUMBITCH!!! that would be terrible!!! how sick are you?? you really must a sadist? just sayin lolIf you can handle it put some salt on the pink part. It will dry it out so it is drier and harder and not so sensitive to touch or burning yada yada yada. Almost like curing leather. Oh Yeah, I said "if you can handle it" for a reason. That crap stings like a SUMBITCH when you put it on there. However if you don't have a couple days for it to heal on it's own before hitting it again then give the salt a shot. It works very well, it just sucks while doing it. I am sure you can handle it just give it a shot.
Just look up Salt & Callous and you will find some of the methods used. Definitely shortens the healing time dramatically.
