Oxyelite pro (new version) powder &pills illness

Banned? The FDA has banned it?
There is no orders that forbid soldiers to use it, it is just not allowed to be sold on post.
Use at your own risk, and AAFES will not provide it

It has not been banned as far as i know and its the same for the Marines, although we were told not to use it. Lol

Ive stayed away mostly due to the chance of a false positive, just dont want to deal with all that if it were to happen.

Yeah, I have heard it been said not to use it, but there is no policy that says that we as soldiers are forbidden to use it.

Its considered an unapproved drug and the fda has made it clear they would prosecute anyone selling it

Haven't seen any updates on this lately.

Original formula OEP has moved from around 32 bucks to 65 bucks lately on NP. Expensive little product now to get the last batches.

Do you still use liver toxic supplements now like phs DS, etc. I certainly hope not. If that happened to me i would be done. Its not worth it just to look good. Anyone who thinks it is has some serious insecurity issues. We don't need supplements to look good anyway

I've never taken any PH's, DS, or Anabolics. I was taking OEP at the time though and White Flood on days when I wasn't using OEP. That's a rude comment, bro. You have some issues. Not every compound is hepatotoxic, it's effects vary from person to person.

I hate to say it but after all this I won't take Oxy elite pro ever again. It only takes one **** up to make people paranoid

I will take the og OEP all day, until I run out of course.
USPlabsRep

I would love to trade my OEP powder and Versa-1 for some bottles of OEP (og). Let me know!! Sounds like a win for everyone!

I see that this page says that it is illegal, but I don't see where there is a law that states that.
I am not arguing, just trying to make sure I don't cross lines that I can't get back from.

Anything that's not found in nature or GRAS can't be sold as a dietary supplement, health issues aside FDA's issue is that 1-3 is not found in geranium and is synthetic and therefore is illegal to be sold as a dietary supplement. There may be legal work arounds (Jack3d Bathsalts anyone?) but I doubt it's worth it. This is my understanding, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

No plans on cycling? Or are you just waiting? Just curious bro, not trying to be a dik. Seems like most people on this forum kind of merge into hormone enhancement eventually.

Sounds legit

Not Alphamine though right?

i think it is, depends on what version of alphamine you have.
i bought a raspberry lemonade from GNC couple weeks ago because i really wanted some but didnt want to wait for shipping and the ingredients changed a little.

the original, the one that first came out back in march/april?(i cant remember) it has n-2.....benzamide which is i think Tembamide which is an alkaloid from the same plant as aegeline.

the version i have in front me, from GNC. the 10mg of n-coumarolydopamine is in the Lean Performance System blend. Tembamide is removed but replaced with n-cinnamoyl-b-hydroxy-4-methoxyphenyl-aethylamin. i did a quick search btw i suck at it, i think it is aegeline. but honestly, i dont think aegeline is what caused the liver problem

It's not...People seem to be missing the point here.

Found an article/video I had not seen yet. This one though seems to be riddled with errors.

They really screwed up the story. It's entertaining though.

I think you are speculating about aegeline. The articulated reason for the removal does not mean that is FDAs only concen.. . .

-----

The Federal Drug Administration has asked the maker of OxyELITE Pro to stop selling another diet supplement. This one is called Versa-1.Doctors say both products have the same ingredient that could have caused liver damage to more than two dozen patients.

Dr. Tsai says USP Labs changed the formula for OxyELITE Pro in May. In that new formula, aegeline was added.. . .

"They become sick with their liver when the new formulation came in so that kind of establishes indirectly maybe there's a correlation, but that's very preliminary," Dr. Tsai said.

Any relationship to the Versa-1 he reportey took? Liver enzymes high, whacked out hormone profile and mention of methylclostebol possibly being in Versa-1??? Not sure how anyone can tout Versa or aegeline as safe or harmful at this point.

went to my local 3 letter unmentionable store today to check clearance items..and for craze. talked to a girl i knew who is now asst manager. asked her about craze, they pulled and she was mad bc she loved it lol.

but, they had oep poweder and purple top still being sold, right upfront at the register. asked her had she heard anything, she said no. but, that had oep protein in the back they "couldnt sell" but she didnt know why.

I think someone got their supps confused and restricted sale of wrong item.

wonderin if i should buy up a few oep's for potential resale

If oep really is causing liver failure who would want to buy it?

same crazy people who are still taking it on here lol..and, many other places.

i just saw the craze fad, and i got a little greedy. i wouldnt want to do that to anyone in all honesty if theres any truth to it

In additional news, this 'scandal' just hit the NZ media; I suspect it won't be too long before it is removed from shelves here.

Heres the link; apparently one person in NZ contracted the illness as well (if you believe the media) Invalid Link Removed

Probably going to be pulled in NZ as well then....dang this is starting to look real bad.

Do you know of any news on OxyElite Protein powder?

I think they just got confused and saw anything that begins with "OxyElite" and just grabbed it.

In hindsight, perhaps using the OxyElite brand name to sell multiple lines wasn't a smart choice

I don't remember seeing any OxyElite Protein on post.
Nobody has said anything about the protein. Not to my knowledge anyhow.
