1ifeblood Breaks On Through to the Other Side!

I think there were a lot more incompatible marriages in the past but they were forced to live with it because divorce was so highly frowned upon. It's more acceptable now so when people realize they are in a relationship with the wrong person, they get out rather than live their lives in misery. But just because it was the wrong person before doesn't mean there isn't a right one. Sh*t bro, knowing what you need in a person to make a lifelong relationship work is a pretty f*cking hard thing to do first try. We barely know OURSELVES when we make the decision, and usually for the wrong reasons; pregnancy, convenience, fear of being alone, or one I see a lot of people doing - using marriage to revitalize a failing relationship. But when you find that one that makes you forget about all the other sh*t you've had to endure with other relationships, you'll know you've got something real.
lulzz..well thanx for the pep talk there iowa
and not that what you say isn't dead on, but - I am 42 yrs old (soon to be 43)..you think I haven't figured that out yet?
anyway - sure marriage is difficult; who said I was burnt out on women tho? :p our marriage fell apart for many reasons, some of which you allude to, but moreso what developed over time..we were compatible, loved each other (well until we hated each other)..just grew apart, that happens too y'know
marriage in general, I will continue to hold my own views on what I feel about it..who knows? like other things in life, maybe I change my mind, maybe not
but i'm certainly not losing any sleep over it, nor dwelling on the past..it is what is is

I knew I wasn't telling you something you didn't already know, but sometimes it helps to have someone else point it out too. The falling out of love thing, yeah that happens a lot. Especially when the relationship started at such a young age because chances are high that you'll grow apart. People just change over time and you never really know what you, or they, will change into. That's what happened with my ex-wife. Nothing significant happened to end the marriage, we just came to the realization that we didn't get along and our constant fighting over stupid shît was affecting the kids. But I can't be bitter about it because of I didn't experience what a bad relationship was like, how could I know and appreciate the awesome one I now have? I probably would have fûcked it up because I would have been too selfish, judgemental, insecure... All the things that typically make a relationship end. Sorry about going off on a tangent, bud. You have so much to offer me in my journey I guess I just wanted to give something back. I don't know what you can get from my ramblings, but it's there for you nonetheless.

So to get things back on track, lol...what are your thoughts on Poliquin's principles? I just got his book.

Oh, Snags...just curious, you said you were about to turn 43. When's your bday?

He has some great principles and some stuff that will make you scratch your head. No doubt he knows his sh!t, regardless of anything anyone can say about him he has produced and trained a lot of high level athletes. When it comes to training he has some pretty good stuff. Just read the book and take what you like from it and leave the rest. If something makes you scratch your head go read up on it more and see what others say about it. That or give them a try and see if they work for you. I have had some good results with a few of his programs and what not.

Yeah buddy! Will we get to see pics from the show?

I'd wait and decide how to set up your training as you go. On one hand you may recover much more quickly and be able to bump up the frequency and/or volume, but on the other hand you may find that your workouts leave you more sore being more powerful while on if that makes sense. No need to over think these things. Just roll along and make changes as you go. I think you'll know what to do when the time is right. :)

^^this, while on my recovery was off the chart and i ended up to some two a days with out any ill side effects. Just listen to your body. I have tried some of those "on" workouts after cycle and just couldn't keep pace.

Does anyone ever wonder if IQ correlates with divorce rate? There has to be research on it somewhere.

I give you credit for creative thinking :D
but (just a guess here, I dunno) - if there is any correlation at all, which is doubtful, I would have to lean toward it being opposite of what you might think, assuming you infer ppl with lower IQs=higher divorce rate
stupider ppl love misery, and misery loves company :p
of course, there is always flip to that too: dumb ppl may not be aware of just how unhappy they are
ponder that one for awhile

I don't know, that's why I wonder about it. Immediately I do think lower IQ = higher divorce rate, but then I think of things like that too. Lol'd at dumb people not being aware of their unhappiness. I don't doubt it. There has been research done on reproduction rate vs. IQ and organized religion/no organized religion vs. IQ, so someone somewhere has probably looked into it.

Now I must know. BRB searching my school's library database.

Not IQ but EQ... Emotional Intelligence. It's a measure of how well a person can first identify what they are feeling, have the willpower to control how that emotion affects them, understand what another person is feeling, and then know how to interact with that person in order to come to a desired result. People who are considered to have reached the upper echelon of their profession have been measured to have a high EQ (90%) whereas only 50% had high IQs. Showing that it's not the brain that determines one's success but rather their heart (metaphorically speaking, of course, since we all know the brain is what controls emotion (-; )

I searched google with no real success

If you're really interested you should read the book Emotional Intelligence 2.0. They provide you with an online test that you can take to see where you rate and then again 6 months later to see how much you've improved.

things that are 2.0 versions are pretty cool :cool2:
<-------------- [see where arrow goes?]

Because it usually means it's a new and improved model. And who doesn't like THAT?

Women are like cars. Every six months you should upgrade to a younger, cheaper, faster, preferably foreign, model.

You know when you get all emotional you can count on me to comfort you via pillow talk ;)

Thank you I need it. My vag is KILLING me

Hey guys, I put up link on the first post to what my diet will look like on cycle. Check it out and tell me what you think, what changes I should make, etc.

Currently in my first clomid run and very happy with the results to say the least.

Really?!? Wow dude...you have a gift..like seriously

What do you do then? Just otc orals? Or phs or what??
relatively new to the whole PH scene tbh - started last yr (other than 4 methyl product over 18mo period back in 05-06)..started seeing a decline in my hormonal levels, figured was time to make the move
but I been around them (clients/friends) for a long time, so have a fair knowledge of these things
thanks for the compliment

Look, it just keeps coming up. Its like bad Chinese food or something.

That's one of the reasons I put pct off for another month lol. I couldn't imagine coming back from my honeymoon straight into pct.

Yeah man talk about a double downer! Come back from a place like that and back to normal life PLUS pct? Fuq that

15 pages and you haven't lifted a weight yet, just a swanks / lifeblood lovefest LMAO... nice

Hey I DID post something about breaking some PRs somewhere back there. I think. Once I get this log going I should probably put "please jump to page... to start reading this log or continue reading for a straight up bromo-fest" on the first post so people know what they are in for.

So jealous!
No need to be jealous big boy! ;)

Clomid is damn good for PCT that is for sure.

Yeah that may be a good idea but for now this is a great "Silliness & fun" type thread.
