Douchebags at the gym...

When you hear a loud boom from a weight dropping. Look over and realize it is the guy curling the 70 pound preset bar. Not 70 pound dumbbells. Straight dropping the weight.
 
One guy curling in the bench press and one guy curling in the squat rack both at the same time. And there are only 2 squat racks and 2 bench presses. And this happens everyday
 
We have a platform just for stiff leg deads and this tool loads up a bar and starts curling on it. The platform is about a foot off of the ground
 
Saw the Tooth-pick leg guy again at the gym yesterday. And you ask what was he working on? You guessed it, upper body! Seriously, the dudes forearms are bigger than his legs! SMH!
 
I called a dude out yesterday for nit putting his weights away. Needless to say he came right over an did it and kept complimenting my arms.

I put my weights away in the wrong spot and sometimes I leave my paper towels on the ground! Total douchette!
 
Whining fat bitches drive me crazy. Got this monstrous red headed beast at my gym who has a PT session MWF. And everytime she does anything she is pissing and moaning like she is going to die. It's like watching week 1 of The Biggest Loser, except she never gets any better. Everything is "too hard" and "too much work". On the flip side there is this other woman there with multiple sclerosis. She is about 45 years old and her trainer works the hell out of her and all she ever says is "that's not as bad as I thought it'd be" or "I think I could bump the weight up on that one"
She is my hero. She busts her ass every day in the gym, with a smile on her face, to try to slow the progress of her MS. Meanwhile the 350 lb ginger drama queen, that obvioulsy has stuffed her fat face with twinkies for the last 20 years watching Oprah, moans and groans through every freakin rep.

Alrighty folks, in all fairness and because I consider myself a man of honor, I need to rescind my DB call out on the fat red head and I will wear the douche bag dunce cap for pre-judging someone. Here it is 5 months later and this woman I bitched about has probably dropped at least 60 lbs. She goes through her PT sessions with hardly any whining anymore, plus she now does 30 minutes of cardio prior to AND after her PT session. No way in hell would I have ever thought she'd even make it one month, but I was way off base. There, I said it, I'm a douchebag.

I saw this dude last night doing preacher curls w a 70lb preloaded barbell, he brings it up, then lowers it 3-4 inches. Later on as I was doing my cardio, he was doing something w dumbbells and he kept slamming them down at the end if his set. Y'know, I love working out, but I hate going to the gym because of these ppl. They walk around w their heads held high because they do half reps w heavy weight, and sometimes I just wanna knock them off their block ?...

I hear that man. There's a guy at my gym who does bench w/ 315 and doesn't even go half way down. Just remember, their not fooling anyone but themselves.
 
I do full reps with heavy weight and sometimes slam them. It's not a nursery. That said the guys trying to put on a show annoy me. Some stuff is just not getting set down gingerly, but when you slam everything it's crossing the line.

The poor fella I workout beside(there's only 3 that workout at my wife's clinic after hours)Does this lol... but in his defense he doesn't know any better and is being "coached" by the guy that does the same 3 inches down and back up with 425. I don't have the heart to tell these guys that neither of them can actually bench those weights

Im calling out my buddy as the dbag of the night. Hes so hellebent on running test (First time) because he thinks thats the only way to gain muscle mass. I show him natural bbers and he just claims they are all on the juice, even after 15+ years of training. Ah some people. He wonders why he cant grow naturally, he barley eats, and he wants to run test. OH lawwwd hopefully he smartens up and doesnt. Sucks seeing a friend go down the wrong path.

I would agree lol who better to make sure he at least is safe than his buddy.
Then when you keep a lot of the gains made and he looses all of his hopefully he will learn a valuable lesson

I even set my deads down gentle unless it's a rough day. But you can only be so gentle with 400-500+ pounds, lol.

It really is sad. I was talking to a friend whose got about 20 years on me and he's a ex PLer, and we are the only two who squat to depth. Saw these two chuckle heads yesterday much taller and bigger than me half rep squatting 315. Of course I'm hitting deads so I set up on the floor and pull my sets working up to 440 and hit a 465 double and call it a day... they probably wonder what the difference between us it.

I've learned that these guys will never learn, even the ones on juice don't end up big enough to warrant it. I know guys who have run test, HGH, and all the pros and many other things. Kids are jacked, but the funny thing is they don't have that much function strength because they never knew what they were doing from the start and still don't. Hopefully you can help your buddy out.
