Danb's Mountain Dog and everything else log

Ended up hitting a two a day today. Worked 1st shift today which isn't my normal shift so I couldn't go in this morning. So I went in around 5 pm and tore my back up. Definitely went over the 6-8 recommended sets but I couldn't stop lol I gotta find a convenient way to log my work outs on this phone. I started with overhand wide grip pull ups 3 sets and then went to seated v bar low rows drop sets starting at 200 and working down to 140 and then moved onto supported rows super setted with underhand grip bent over roes and finished off with DB pullovers.
Came home ate dinner hing out with yhe wife and kid and when they went to bed I couldn't take it anymore and just had to go do work. Shoulders and chest were on the agenda but I wanted to go about it a little different I wanted to make it almost like a straight cardio session so everything was a little lighter weight and tri setted. Id say I was successful because I got a side cramp at the end lol I dont even remember everything I did. I believe it was incline db/db lat raises/rear delt swings and then rear delt peck decks/bw push ups/ladder push ups/partial lat raises and finished off with incline BB press md style/bb OH press/DB seated OH press. Getting ready to hit fhe sack. May take some pics in the morning. I took some after tge gym tonight but wasn't very happy with them.

Looks good, and open the pictures on the phone click to edit them and then rotate them and save them. You took them in a landscape position so that is what the phone set them as. I see the changes too, back looks good more definition in upper abdomen, things are moving along!

Wait no you took them regular, not sure why... When my S4 gets here Monday I will play with it. Could be the uploading. Either way if you rotate it on your phone and then save it I bet it posts correctly.

The S4 I was speaking of is the new Samsung S4 Active. It is a phone, it is water proof, dust proof and made with gorilla glass. Same one Dan has or maybe his isn't the Active model.

As far as SARMS I am not gonna touch S4 the idea of seeing yellow and a bunch of halos at night does not interest me at all. Everyone says it is temporary but call me a chicken I ain't touching that S4. I am however running Ostanish (MK-2866) at 20mg a day with my 1-Alpha as part of my bridge.

I think I have this program somewhere in my pile of stuff. Give me some of the rundown and i will tell you. Don't feel like going through all my old books right now.

wasme Okay that was a great program for me! As a matter of fact the book got destroyed during a flood and I had not been able to find it since. Nice periodization program increasing volume and ever changing weight. Thanks for posting that I am downloading and saving it because I really enjoyed that program.

Thanks Kleen. I am going to give that a run I think see how it goes.. Just seems like it might be good to add an accessory exercise to each body part, or don't mess with it?

Any time you are doing a program at first you should do it as written if you want to see if it has merit. If you find it lacking then you do something else or change it but give it the time it needs to prove itself first. There ends up being a decent amount of volume and intensity and accessories are great for fine tuning but building tends to be better with the basics. You can change exercise selection if you have areas of focus that need to be attended to.

It looks like it is very heavy on the big compound movements to build some mass/strength. Could be fun. Ramp 2... where you do chest/back/legs every day (6 days a week) could prove to be intense, I'm sure.

Ended up with 210 carbs yesterday but 55 were from fiber. But I could still tell this morning I was a bit bloated so ive been pounding water all day today. Chest in the morning and im gonna try to make tomorrow another 2 a day. Counting down the days until I'm on the beaches of mexico now!

2-a-days are great metabolism boosters but you have to watch how your recovery abilities handle it.

Definitely. I think I can handle it right now though.

Planned on hitting an early arm day today but my 2 year old must have thought that was a bad idea. From 1-7 am this morning he was up with a fever and just not feeling well and all he wanted was my wife who of course got called into work at midnight and wad there until 8 am this morning. Soo long story short not a happy kid = a worn out dad who slept until 11:30 today and then had to go to the bmv where I learned that once your license has been expired for more than 6 months you have to retake the written exam you took when you were 16 to get your license. ... which of course I failed lol so now I have to go back to that god forsaken place in the AM and retake it and hope I pass this time lol

Left there and went straight to the gym and destroyed arms. These last couple weeks have been some of the best gym sessions ive ever had.

you failed to mention the part where you cancelled your apt with your nutritionist :rasp:

if you can, go out to the one in new haven - MUCH better my friend, not nearly as crowded and moves pretty quickly
