Ha we must be looking at different chests. Your structure is much better than mine! I have these fukin fat pockets on the side of my pecks I've struggled with my whole life. The fat on the sides of my chest and my love handles are holding on for dear life right now lol.

Not saying it will be the same for you but the person bothered by it is me. Nobody else says man your buff except for your boobs... Don't get me wrong I look at them every damn day with disgust but I have learned to enjoy my other gifts more. You have a massive back and a damn good chest so own that and be proud of it.

Agreed, if not a planned free meal a cheat meal only cheats yourself. Not harping on you Dan because developing that discipline unless naturally OCD about it, takes time just as much time and maybe even more mental effort than the work put in to build the muscle. YOu are doing great, but you could be doing even better it what the Diet Nazi is saying. NO CHEATS FOR YOU!!!
 
Eat more but clean, while increasing activity level quite a bit and it will come up. Use HIIT for cardio and very short rest periods, increased frequency in training and it will go back up quickly. Also look into Reset AD... It will help reset you from such heavy stim use.

when he says "eat more" - that does not mean double your cal intake!
small increases, and no more than 500cals/day - i'd actually start at maybe ~250 and go from there

Yes definitely, I figured he would know that but good of you to add it because I could have easily been wrong. If 500 make sure you burn 500 more a day... Idea is to feed yourself more but not leave any surplus after activity or very little anyway.

Lol man a guy has one unplanned cheat meal and everyone goes all diet nazi and starts questioning dedication in this joint lol totally kidding and I understand what everyone is saying and I feel the same way.
 
Snags.. any way to reset your metabolism. Mine is f'd from that huge weightloss a few years back, and all the ECA..

Off day today. Back day was yesterday. Short rest and super sets were the theme. Leg day tomorrow and phase 3 officially starts this weekend. Kind of sad this run with MD is coming to an end. Now I'm not Pro or Anti X fit really. I have my opinions on it but my opinions pretty much only apply to the ass clowns at my gym who think they're bad asses because they X fit, but thats neither here nor there. DLB is a beast..just thought I'd share this...a smokin hot beast lol

I was actually strongly considering this as well. Ill look into it a little better when I get closer to the end of this.

Had a close friends little sisters grad party yesterday. Which ended up being more of a party for our group of friends lol..BUT I did good and steered clear of cheat food (I wanted a pc of grad cake REAL bad just for clarification lol) drank water all night and ate smoked chicken all night. I did have a grilled pork burger (no bun). Probably got 10 different comments about how much better I look. Was a pretty good confidence boost.

Today was day 1 of phase 3. And it was awesome. May have went over sets by a couple but I couldn't stop. By the end I was toast.

Unsatisfied and hungry lol...seriously though I dunno. I'm glad I didn't go all out and everything but still not to the point where I'm like "eh I don't even want that"....yet. Ill get there though in time I think. It would be easier I feel like if I was in "prep mode" or something. Like I had something to work towards maybe? If that makes any sense

but to get that point, for most folks, it requires abstinence for a good long while, and a change in the thought process of instead of looking at things like you are "depriving" yourself, you accept that you can not eat that way because you do not like the way you look/feel after you do

Thanks man means alot. I decided no more cheats until Mexico so I can give myself a goal to shoot for lol baby steps :)
 
Also did 2 miles worth of cardio on the trail tonight. A little mix if HIIT and jogging with the wife and kid. I had to wait about an hour after i got done lifting. Might be an ongoing trend in phase 3

Snag... you are awesome dude.. This thread is really preparing me mentally for the next week.. I always find the first week of a 'cut' the hardest..
