USPlabs OxyELITE Protein Release Date Announced \\ DON'T MISS OUT

I hope it comes in a few days. My samples will have a awesome review.

Got mine. The flavor of the milk chocolate is amazing!! Very powdery, which is a bit messy, but that enables the powder to mix really well.
USPLabs hit a home run with this OxyELITE Protein

Chocolate tastes really good! Only one down side I see and that's the fact it has Aspertame in it.

"FDA's estimate of acceptable daily intake for aspartame is limited to 18-19 twelve-ounce cans per day. If you're really worried about it, stop at your 12th can."

Aspartame is made up of

aspartic acid - an amino acid
phenylalanine - an amino acid
with an ester bond on it

"To examine whether ingestion of aspartame is associated with headaches, we conducted a double-blind crossover study using volunteers with self-identified headaches after using aspartame. Of the 32 subjects randomized to receive aspartame (approximately 30 mg/kg/d) and placebo in a two-treatment, four-period crossover design, 18 completed the full protocol, seven completed part of the protocol before withdrawing due to adverse effects, three withdrew for other reasons, two were lost to follow-up, one was withdrawn due to noncompliance, and one withdrew and gave no reason. Each experimental period was 7 days long. Subjects reported headaches on 33% of the days during aspartame treatment, compared with 24% on placebo treatment (p = 0.04). Subjects who were "very sure" prior to the study that aspartame triggered some of their headaches reported larger treatment differences (aspartame = 0.37 headache-days, placebo = 0.18 headache-days; p < 0.001) than subjects who were "somewhat sure" (aspartame = 0.29 headache-days, placebo = 0.22 headache-days; p = 0.51) or "not sure" (aspartame = 0.33 headache-days, placebo = 0.39 headache-days; p = 0.51). There was no significant treatment difference in the length or intensity of headaches or in the occurrence of side effects associated with the headaches. This experiment provides evidence that, among individuals with self-reported headaches after ingestion of aspartame, a subset of this group report more headaches when tested under controlled conditions. It appears that some people are particularly susceptible to headaches caused by aspartame and may want to limit their consumption."

Thanx. Good read. I guess there's nothing to worry about ;-)

USP Labs would not put something that has not been researched into their products, not to mention they want to make the most superior product on the market. They have a reasoning behind everything they do.

I realize this^^, however, it's more of a personal preference for me. I just don't care for artificial sweeteners. Very difficult to avoid them all together as pretty much every company uses them!

Good luck, only whey you can use is a natural that ON makes.
Every company makes them because well in moderation everything is fine, artificial sweeterns are perfectly fine, its not like our entire diet and food selections are based off of it. Then again A supplement is just that. it SUPPLEMENTS our diet and training and our diet coming from MOSTLY whole foods since Whey protein alone is highly processed.

There are other companies besides ON but the prices are fairly steep on some. Don't get me wrong, I am in no way dogging USP Labs. I have been a faithful supporter for many years now and will continue to be. I was just voicing my opion that I don't care for aspertame (even if the commi pricks at the FDA say it's safe).

I got my IC order yesterday, thanks USPLabs! I havent tried the protein yet but I have the vanilla sample with me today at work. I did however try the thermopowder this morning, 1.5 scoops and all I can say is holy crap. Felt it kick in on my drive to work and I am definitely warmer than I usually am in my office right now.

Shipping said mine will be here today. I sure hope so bc I could use a travel pack today since my work sched is different than usual! Hurry up UPS man

Ill be saving my thermo powder for sept when I come off the ec I just started for summa!

My wife snagged mine and said "I need this more than you do!" She tried it out yesterday so I asked how she liked it (she loved og OEP). Said taste wasn't very good but aftertaste was really good and she felt it kick in with the energy right away. No jitters or nervousness just good clean energy. Still too early to assess other effects but I can see ordering more in the future! ;)

This stuff tastes amazing! Just had my first scoop and actually wanted to make another shake right after. Nice work on the flavoring. (milk chocolate)

I have a sample of the vanilla. Will give it a shot tonight. Mixing with strawberry does sound delicious!

I get headaches some times with aspartame but I got lucky I did not with this but I would be nice if eventually they did swap it with stevia or a natural alternative.

I though there are no hidden amino fillers in this product? You mentioned two amino acids.

Chocolate is by far better IMO but it will vary from person to person tastes like a Devil's Food Cake.

My office had Mr Softee come here because it's so hot. I opted for my Vanilla Ice Cream OxyElite Protein. IMHO, it's spot on for a custardy, soft serve vanilla flavor. Looking forward to trying the chocolate.

I'm digging all this feedback! Thank you everyone for your support!

That's great man. Have you ever made protein ice cream? I'll be making some tonight with the Vanilla Ice Cream flavor. Should be fantastic!

Some studies have found a connection between aspartame consumption and the development of brain tumors. When aspartame breaks down it produces DKP. As your stomach digests DKP, it produces a chemical that induces the growth of brain tumors.

the studies that showed cancerogenous and other negative effects used amounts of aspartame which would require you to drink a whole truck full of it! It is not probable that you would be getting this much exposure in. Yes, aspartame can be considered an excitotoxin but unless you are injecting it directly into your blood stream, it is highly unlikely it will make it to your bloodstream via oral consumption. Aspartame is rapidly broken down in the gut into its component amino acids, which is mostly phenylalanine and aspartic acid as pointed out above, and are then metabolized. So in vivo (taken orally) aspartame is not a excitotoxic and unless you are a rat you shouldn't have anything to worry about

Exactly! Posted that study on the last page.

I haven't made protein ice cream, should definitely try it though. I popped open my chocolate flavored tub tonight. Flavor was great! I have always liked a thicker protein shake and you guys have it perfect. If the price is right I know what protein I'll be picking up from now on.

I just made a batch and highly recommend it. Glad you liked the Milk Chocolate man! I prefer a thicker shake as well and don't think the consistency could be any better. Thanks again for your support!

Here's my ice cream. The blend was awesome for creating a rich and creamy texture. I usually add Greek yogurt to help with the creaminess, but it wasn't needed at all.

I seriously can't stop drinking this stuff! Can't wait to try the ice cream recipes!

Just tried that vanilla sample that came with it. Really nice flavor. Reminds me of vanilla icing on a cake. Still like choco a bit better but definitely nailed it guys.
