i've long been a lee priest fan, but there's just something wrong when a 14y/o kid can pose and carry himself like this

Ok I made some big improvements in my routines and some of my mandatory's I did hair removal Thursday night so that has me a bit watery till early next week but I still see some marked improvements in these.

I am pretty light headed a lot of the time as I adjust to the diet.

obvious improvements..i don't see any water fyi, and i don't think we need to make any changes - i'm half-tempted to have you roll down to 2400cals, but that is offset by the fact i think you are still consuming more cals than what you are calculating, and once you correct those #s that will be a "drop" in itself..
posing - side chest still needs work, angles are wrong..and focus on leg positioning in all poses, bring them closer together, learn to set that base! good work tho man, keep at it!

I keep pretty close track of the cals, I have been on this diet for only 5 days so lets see what next week brings. Yes I have cleaned my diet up immensely. I see that I am still dropping the shoulder a bit on the side chest and I to elevate my chest more.

Yah I am making some improvements on the poses but still need a lot of work, but I am doing a lot of work so, I think things will come together.

yeah everyone has a slightly differnt variation it seems..
but, that does show ~1g per oz, which is still almost twice as much as DW was figuring
(albeit almost 1/2 as much as what i pegged it for) :D
my data showed ~1.8g per oz

All depends on what the beef is, out west in Alberta they have no corn just grain. Tons of it. The beef there is very lean. I am not going to be eating the same quantity anyway and will likely give it up later or go extremely small portions.
 
ok found another source this nay be more accurate so more like 1 gram per once of Alberta beef. I am not eating steak this week anyway and will adjust this for next week.

I always question my fitness pal and those programs, they are a nice guideline but iv had that thing try and tell me that a fish I was eating was over 1000 calories and that was in the several times. But I know you need to look around for the one that's right.
 
Very nice work Doug. You're looking great, man. Your abs have come in so nicely over the past few weeks and I definitely see some vascularity that I couldn't see in the last pics. Good job ole wise ass, keep killing it. Only a few more weeks.
 
Yup, still killing it I see. Your gonna come in great for your comp as long as you nail your posing down which you have already made strides with
 
Had to do day 1 of my routine yesterday as I will be on course this week and the gym does not open till 9am on monday cuz of the holiday. I have gotten a cold so I can use a little rest. Practice went better again last night, was able to keep my chest up most of the time.

Might not be able to get to the boards this week much as with all I have to do and the course man... days are not long enough.

I got some good rest last night so that is going to help me fight off this cold. I have practice again tonight but still should be able to get to bed early. Did most of my cooking for the week late yesterday.
 
the more you practice flexing and holding those poses, the harder and more striated you will get
posing is great for definition and muscle hardness

The makes a lot of sense there is being in shape and then there's being in posing shape, it's tough stuff...
 
Good practice last night, now if I could just shake this cold... and speaking of cold we are back in the deep freeze :(

i LOVE those stages of dieting..daily chnages every morning i awake and look in the mirror..yeah :yup:
roll it!

I am lean enough now that .1 pound makes a difference in appearance. The girl I have helping me with my posing (taking pics etc.) mentioned that I looked leaner than the previous day. I was definitely tighter.
 
Holy fug!! down another 5 lbs, yesterday was a low carb day but Jeez.... Steve do I see a refeed in my future :) Definitely not time to reduce cals good thing we didn't. No wonder I had been feeling a bit light headed.
 
oh yah and that is not including the 2.5 from last week so that's close to 8 lbs in 12 days.

the level of conditioning needed to shine whacks more weight off you than one thinks
anyway - there are no "refeeds" to be had doug, get that terminology out of your head!
perhaps a carb meal, perhaps a couple hours window of clean carbs, determined by your condition..
i cannot advise this without a pic, so post one?

I will get you one tonight. I was just thinkng a meal on my high carb day. I don't care I will do exactly what you say. I look fuggin good man!!
 
Keep beastin it old man. The finish line is close and it's waiting for you with some of that sirloin. You have a cheering section...
 
Looking much better this week Doug, posing is improving, definitions is coming in, you are definitely making the changes you needed to come in looking good.

Is that an abdominal vein? Nice. Thighs are separating well, can ID the vastus lat/vastus med/QF. Back looks shredded. Side profile looks great, maybe stick chest out a little more? Lookin good DW!

keep them clean (brown rice/sweet potato/oats etc)
throw in 1tbs almond butter, or just use regular butter on your food
then get back to diet
