As someone of Scandinavian descent, I am loving this show. The Ragnar character is awesome and is what I thought the "legend" of Ragnar Lodbrok would be. It gives an interesting peek into Viking life and lore. Also, major,props to the history channel app for having the next episodes up a week in advance. Saw episode 4 today. :woohoo: best episode yet
 
Great show I watch the first episode out of curiosity. Then watch the watch the rest right after. Defiantly like it.
 
Awesome show. Idk why everyone has to be a rapist though. Same thing on the Bible on the History Channel. History is on some rape **** apparently
 
I've seen previews but not the show. About to check if I can catch up
 
Google search "letmewatch this" and click the first link. Then click TV shows at the top. Easy way to catch up on everything. Vikings is amazing!
 
I like how just when you thought ragnars brother Rolo is a traitor/ scum bag, he turns out to be pretty loyal.

And for whatever reason...he went against the earl to save Ragnars life when Ragnar killed that guy for trying to rape his wife..

You know he endangered his life and made an enemy of the earl for that.


And in one episode Ragnar was gonna let his priest slave fu.ck his wife, so that kind of thing must not be a big deal back then..

He's still sketchy and untrustworthy. Theres gotta be a reason why he didn't crack. And no, I don't think it's loyalty. Idk, can't wait to see what happens next.

After I saw this thread I decided to check it out and it's an awesome show. I'm definitely hooked.
 
Watched episode 6 last night on my iPad on the treadmill. Best episode yet.

i love this show. my favorite new show in a long time.

in the beginning, history was putting the episodes up 1 week prior to the normal sunday show time...now they've stopped. anyone know why?
 
I fell asleep watching episode one. Gonna try episode two tonight

Yea looks like your right now he's telling the x earls wife how he's gonna be the new earl...Damn there's nothing I hate more than someone who's backstabbing their own family..
 
I rather wait until Sunday nights for the show. Me and my friends have beers while watching that and new episode of game of thrones

Luckily it was reupped for a second season. It leads to who Ragnar is based on the legend as well as Rollo.
 
Season was great, one of the few shows i watch. If anybody has cinemax, they should try out Banshee. Great storyline and fighting scenes
