Got a great story to share. I'm out of town on business. When I go I try to hit all the local gyms to get a free lift or two out of them. First time in this one today and its leg day. I work up to 4 plates for a triple. I grind the last rep hard, barely get it. I go to rack it. BLAM missed a hook 405 crashes into the safety bars and everyone's staring at me like I'm some sort of ass hole. I about died laughing.
Throwin' weights around so errybody know you're the freakin' man hahaha...at least you made some noise like a boss - can you imagine how mortified you'd have been dropping 135?
Squatting for a true triple is brutal, its the perfect combo of really heavy weight but without the luxury of just banging out a single squat. 3RM is tougher for me than 5 or even a 1RM.
