BPS Formasurge/AnaBeta/HCGenerate Bulk Log

I've been taking a friend of mine to the gym with me this week who hasn't lifted since high school. It's been kind of fun and refreshing. I'm killing him though. Lol the back is feeling good. Was going to hit squats hard last night but damned if I could get in a rack. So, we did split squats again. I decided to mix it up a bit though and do extensions and curls first to pre-exhaust the legs. Ouch.

Legs shoulders

Bulgarian split squat:45x10,45x10,45x10-8 fail! Lol
Machine shoulder press:110x13,130x9,130x8
Bent shoulder raise:35x14,35x14,35x10

Foam roller


Hit the foam roller for a bit after. A couple if weeks ago I rolled first and my squats were awesome. Worth a try if you have access to a foam roller at your gym. I felt that it really helped my range and strength.
 
Nice workout man. I love split squats! Usually every couple workouts I switch an ore exhaust my legs and it kills me! Keep it up bro.

Thanks Dave. Felt great. I totally failed on my right leg on that last set so I was pushing it. Haha.

Well I'm pretty happy right now. I hit an all time high bench tonight and it felt damn good! My buddy was still hurting from Friday. Lol he did good though.

So obviously tonight was chest.

Chest

10 min elliptical warmup

So far sticking with 2 pumps am/pm. May bump to 3/3 next week. Weight held at 189.6 this week so no gain there. Strength is a good sign though. I need to adjust my cals a but and see if I can push the weight up without getting too far. Hopefully the Anabeta will help out here. We shall see. I want to hit 200 this year without getting ridiculously sloppy but I'm not sure I can get there. I didn't cut as hard this summer with the intention of going to 200 but its a big jump still. 195 was my max last year.
 
gonna be hard to add bulk with a clean diet while on formasurge, imo.
 
Yeah, I've never tried it before. I may need to "get dirty" a bit. LOL

imo, you can actually be losing fat and adding muscle on formestane in general and formasurge in particular, but the water weight loss and fat loss outweigh the muscle gain. to see weight gain with formestane products is going to take a huge increase in cals...just my 2c.

I agree T. I'm ok with the scale not moving if I can tell muscle is going on. That's just less cutting I have to do later. I'm keeping an eye on it. That's the first time in 8 weeks the scale hasn't moved so I found it interesting. I'm not exactly lean at the moment anyway though. Lol

well, if you find the scale staying the same but you are looking leaner you know good things are happening!!!

Haha. Always the truth! We shall see.

Ran before this one and sprinted the last 60 secs. Man does that take something out of you running first. Lol. Not something I would do regularly but for something different it was fun.

Thanks guys. I was surprised when I stepped on the scale honestly. I thought I would be down a few pounds. I'm off my high from last year by 3.5 lbs. plenty of season left to bypass that.

Decent night in the weight room tonight. Not great but great pump which was surprising because I forgot my Preworkout creatine and Anabeta. Chest is full and hard though.

My right elbow has bees hurting a bit since last Monday from the max bench effort. Might be a little of the forma drying me out but I think mostly from the effort since I'm not high dosing.

My buddy blew out his shoulder tonight which sucks. We were still warming up. Hopefully not too bad. I sent him home to ice it immediately.

bench is where i always seem to get sore elbow from...that and tri extensions-i try not to do them on same day anymore.

Might have been the skull crushers. Those things can aggravate mine. Bench usually gets my shoulders more.

the older i get i seem to have more problems with routines that involve a pushing type movement, pulling types i am ok with.

i look at it like this...when i was young everyone was into fitness in the 70's, hell even the 80's...now at 54 i look around and i feel special to still be pounding the weights, all of a sudden in the 2000's everyone seems to be fat and out of shape, lol...it just gives extra motivation!!!

No energy tonight. We had a catered lunch at work today which was actually pretty decent food. Salad, sushi, wraps, fruit and veggies. But I got sleepy as hell about an hour later! Lol

Still managed a good workout though.

That's exactly what happened to me! LOL I don't have that issue very often but man it just flat whacked me today. I was just plain stupid afterword staring at my computer trying to think. I spend my days working with databases and that **** looks really confusing when your tired!

it aint a good thing...trust me!!!

one time the company exec's did a steak bbq with all the trimmings...i had 2 t-bones/2 baked potatos/salad/rolls/and 2 pieces of apple pie....by the time 4am came, i couldn't keep my eyes open and had made 2 trips to the head by then, lol.

Tried C4 tonight and I have to say I was impressed. Not with the orange flavoring although it was refreshing change from the usual berry flavors. The focus was awesome. Energy was solid and no stimmed out feeling. Can't wait to see if that holds up over a few uses.

It does. I was actually worried about that because mesomorph gave me such painful pumps it was hard to complete a leg workout. No issues with C4.

unfortunately they changed the formula of mesomorph....it WAS the best pre out before, imo.

don't know why they have to mess with stuff!!! but they always seem to.....

Too true. Though I believe another company came out with a clone of the OG mesomorph. Aviva Nutrition 357 I believe is the name

you would think that if it were as good as og meso we would have heard about it!!! the boards were full of meso talk before the change.
 
The C4 is not impressing me quite as much as I had hoped. :( back to ignite 2 next I think.

Slackin on the log this week! Sorry guys. Training has been good. Diet maybe not so much. Lol I'm still eating all the good stuff I normally do I just haven't restrained from all of the bad stuff. Haven't weighed myself this week though. Still looking about the same in the mirror. Noticed a libido drop this week also. I ran out of HCGen about a week ago and switched to bulk DAA.
I got a massage today. That was much needed. It's been too long since I've done that. Hopefully that will show in the gym tomorrow.
