LOG: Igniting my inner Alpha with Finaflex!

Showing signs of shut down... It is pretty common with this substance since more anabolic than androgenic you lose libido once your own testosterone wains. CHeck into some Perform or some bulk MACA and you will bounce back a bit.

I started taking 6 caps of Pure Test before bed, I've read that it can mimic effects of HCG. I was going to buy another bottle of it anyway.

BTW, I gotta share info about my girlfriend's progress too. She has been using Finaflex ALC+CLA for about two months now (4 caps a day) and started taking Finaflex PX and Driven Sports Lean Xtreme too. In training days he takes some AMS Pump Fixx preworkout instead of another capsule of PX.

Now she weights less than she has weighted in last half year. Her goal is to stay permanently under 130lbs and now she is few weeks away of reaching that weight. She has maintained her muscle mass very well and she still continues to gain strength. She set goals to rep with 50's in DB chest press, rep with 80lbs in seated shoulder press, rep with 110lbs in front squat, lift 110lbs in flat bench and deadlift 200lbs before Christmas and with the help of Finaflex products, I think she'll be able to do that!

awesome to hear!
props and congrats to your girl, my friend.

1x BW
0x BW

- Armblaster curl with ez-bar
65lbs -> 55lbs -> 40lbs -> 30lbs -> 20lbs

My training partner challenged me to do t-bar rows with him. Rest times between sets were just long enough to allow training partner do his set. I won him at t-bar rows and after that I challenged him to do same thing with pulldowns. He won that one.

My back has never been as beaten up as it is right now!!

Not surprised that the power movement was the better one for you as that's where 1-alpha would be a bigger advantage I think. Best back workout ever ... there you go :)

Yeah, I'm really enjoying this :) 1-Alpha doesn't seem to be a big mass gainer for me, but it really shines in strength department.. and vascularity is just crazy. Recovery between sets and dryness are even better than it was with Havoc, which is a methylated steroid amd often considered as dry compound..

BTW, I ordered 2 bottles of 1-Alpha.. I've been thinking about spring bulk: weeks 1-8 MUSCLE-UP or BULK-UP, weeks 1-6 H-Drol or if I decide to go with nonmethyl I'll use P-BOLD instead and weeks 4-8 1-Alpha!

Epistane is a good mass product for me but not really that dry in my case.

Day 16 (briefly, I'm on my phone)

- standing military press: 3 sets of 8-11 @ 110lbs (pb)
- standing db press: 4 sets of 8-11 @ 50's (pb)
- side laterals, pushdowns (7x125lbs, pb)

Quick and nice. I was ALPHA!

pb's across the board eh?
bring it!
:hammer:

Yeah. Usually I've done just one all-out set but lately I've changed my training style. It was great that I could do so long sets even though rests between sets were even shorter than usually because I had to hurry to class. More weights on BB press next time and twice that long sets with DB's!

Let's see how I can fight against lactic acid tomorrow.. It's gonna be long sets of front squats!

BTW, Pure Test has helped with libido a little. I noticed that it works better when I take all 6 caps before bed instead taking 3 in the morning and 3 before bed.

And oh, did I mention that I ordered 2 bottles for my next cycle to stack with some other goodies?

Hmmmm... so it is safe to say you like it eh???

Excellent and those are some serious number you got as well as some serious numbers your girl has planned. What do her lifts look like right now?

Front squat 3 sets of 6 @ 100lbs
Deadlift 3x165lbs after few sets of 6 @ 145lbs
Flat bench: 2-3 sets of 2 @ 100lbs
DB chest press: 2 sets of 5 @ 40's
BB shoulder press: 7x70lbs
Lat pulldown: 3 sets of 6 @ 100lbs

She has been training SERIOUSLY for only few months so progress is still pretty fast.

Day 18 (briefly, I'm on my cellphone)

Weight: 164lbs

Workout:
- Front squat: 3 sets of 8-17x160lbs personal best!
- leg curls, calves

I had to be fast because of school. I had enough time to do front squats and that's most important for me.. And I won the fight against lactic acid! Spotter was awesome, without him I would've done maybe 13 reps..

Next week.. Long sets with 190lbs! Tomorrow.. Chest, long sets with db's and maybe heavy sets with barbell. Can't wait!

This is 100% off-topic, but I have to share it with you guys: I have a crisis! I realized that I study something that is not for me at all :( WTF was on my mind when I thought that tourism would be my thing? **** that ****, I'll apply for chemistry or laboratory technology!

Medical sports science would be my thing but I didn't get in last time and I doubt I could ever get in..

Day 19

Workout:
- DB chest press: 2 sets of 15 @ 70's (personal best)
- DB incline press: 3 sets of 15-17 @ 50's
- Side laterals, cable pushdowns (12x115lbs PB), drop sets on both

I have barely eaten anything today and still endurance was awesome! Bigger weights next time. It feels that I'm ready to do another set 10secs after finishing last one :)

I took a back shot after chest workout. Gonna upload it here tomorrow. I think it looks wider!

Front squat 3 sets of 6 @ 100lbs
Deadlift 3x165lbs after few sets of 6 @ 145lbs

BB shoulder press: 7x70lbs
Lat pulldown: 3 sets of 6 @ 100lbs

Very impressive and what were her stats again? Height, Weight?

Congrats man, front squats and I just don't seem to get along well. Maybe it is the general lack of wrist flexibility and the false grip sets the bar directly on my clavicle. Just not worth the pain of having weight on my clavicle for me. Congrats on that PR though that is awesome!

Man if you can't doesn't mean you can't get into kinesiology, or sports specific Physical Therapy. Either way this is your log man. You are the one who creates the topics so this post is far from off topic. Shoot when I am logging it is almost a personal journal for me.

i still don't know what i wanna do when i grow up..

:sigh:
No doubt.

Concerning front squats I have overdeveloped front delts that seems to give me a nice spot the lay the bar as it doen't bother me in the least.

Yeah, working on that now Doug! ;)

No doubt.

Another PR that is awesome brother!

She is 5'4.5" and a little over 130lbs ATM.. Weight is steadily going down and her goal is to permanently get under 130lbs and cycle calories after she makes it.. Today she benched 3 sets of 4 @ 100lbs (last week only 2 sets of 2), I wish my progress would be that fast too!

Front squat is IMO too underrated excercise. For me it build muscle better than back squats even though my back squat is +100lbs better.. But it just doesn't work for some people.

If wrist flexibility is a problem, try pharaoh grip! It's difficult at first but it's awesome when you learn it. I use it nowadays and I like it lot more than normal grip..

and not a front squat one was done with this guy.
(well okay, maybe a couple, but DEF under 100 reps on front squats total in my lifetime for sure)
like Kleen says, they are just too uncomfortable for me. :nono:

I do the pharoh grip. Didnt know thats what it was called but my flexability sucks i broke both arms a few times each so i had to learn that way. Also cleans too i have to be real.carefull with because of this

Science is killer bro. Chemistry and biology are hard as hell. You have to know and understand sooooo much shyte it ain't funny. I hate it but I love it. Nah mean? Anyways don't let one semester break your spirits. Life is funny sometimes and most people in this world don't do what they are truly passionate about, they work to live. You're still young enough though to follow your true calling if you really want it. Good luck

good work lately bro,you ever get that i mailed you?

Yeah. In high school I liked chemistry a lot and I'd like to start own company in supplement industry, that's why chemistry would be so interesting. Medical sports science would be optimal for me but it's almost impossible to get in (10 persons are chosen every year in whole Finland).. Application period is next spring so I'll decide by then.. Of course I could continue my tourism studies if I couldn't get in.

Yah that's the grip I use, Chris is too big for the other grip too. I am very comfortable with it and there was a big increase on quad development.

Day 21

Workout:

- Weighted chin-ups: 3 sets of 6-8 @ 55lbs
- Deadlift: 1 set of 20 @ 245lbs
- Cable pulldown: 3 sets of 7-8 @ 155lbs (personal best)
- Cable row: 3 sets of 7-8 @ 135lbs
- EZ-bar curl with armblaster

Surprisingly good workout. I slacked with my diet yesterday but today I did quite well in the gym!

Overall I still feel pretty good. No lethargy at all. I still feel alpha in the gym!

Delts tomorrow, can't wait.. Even though I've had minor rotator cuff pain lately.

Just warm that joint up thoroughly before working it if you have been suffering any shoulder discomfort.

Just warm that joint up thoroughly before working it if you have been suffering any shoulder discomfort.
Yeah.. I do light rotator cuff exercises, side laterals and facepulls before every upper body workout! Today it feels fine and I'm gonna hit them delts in few hours! Feeling strong!

Tendons feel ok once you've warmed up yes, I always feel better after the workout than before.

True that.. I had no issues with rotator cuffs today but I maybe did too much "warm ups" to side- and rear delts, it took a little toll on my compound lifts..

Day 22:

Weight: 165lbs (Great, I'm gonna drop kcals a little now!)

Workout of the day:

- Standing military press: 3 sets of 6 @ 125lbs
- Standing DB press: 2 sets of 10-15 @ 50's (personal best)
-> Seated BB shoulder press: 1 rest-pause set of 50 @ 45lbs
- Standing side laterals
- Seated side laterals 1 arm at time
- Face pulls

Actual workout was over so quickly that I decided to do some extra.. Sh!tload of extra actually. Pump was better than ever, I didn't know that even rear delts can be so full of blood!

Strength was good today but not as good as I expected. I was hoping to get at least 8-9 reps @ 125lbs but last set of 6 felt heavy. Intensity was great though and rests between sets were again shorter than before! Next week I may have to rest longer so I can go heavier..

Day 23

Workout of the day:

- Front squat:
6x45lbs
6x90lbs
6x135lbs
2x180lbs
6x190lbs
6x190lbs
10x190lbs (personal best) -> 8x135lbs -> 5x70lbs

- Lying leg curl: 4 sets of 8-10

- Hack-squat: 1 set

- Leg press: 1 set

- Seated calf raises:
6xBW
6x25lbs
6x35lbs
6x45lbs
6x55lbs
6x70lbs
6x80lbs
6x70lbs
6x55lbs
6x45lbs
6x35lbs
6x25lbs
10xBW

AWESOME!

I bougth some chocolate flavoured protein pudding powder. That stuff is delicious! Hopefully it'll help to keep those strength gains coming!

I realized that I've lost my USB cable so I can't upload my halfway through pics yet :(

Now the PR's are coming :)
Yeah.. But no PR's today :(

- DB chest press: 4 sets of 7-8 @ 75's
- DB decline press: 3 sets @ 80's
- DB incline press: 3 sets @ 55's
- Side laterals and face pulls

Lower back cramped during 3rd set of DB chest press.. Rest of the workout sucked after that.

I was pissed of about not making any PR's today... I went to the gym with my girlfriend.. My intention was just to help her there but after she did her sets of flat bench, I decided to try close grip bench too..

3x220lbs is what I got. Not a PR but I'm very satisfied, it was just few hours before when I did a lot of DB presses!

I don't usually do stupid things like that!
