SLW2 is about to BULK-UP!

It's up to you man. I've seen results on 3-6 and 9 softgels a day. Do what feels right. Your body will tell you what's up .

Day 12

Alright so its day twelve today. I have been dosing Bulk-Up at 6 caps/day after the first day which was 4 caps.

Today my weight was up 2.5 lbs form the start, so I am gaining weight a little bit faster than normal. Not by a huge amount yet though. I am not really seeing any strength gains yet, but my muscles are definitely more swollen. I saw a couple of people who I havent seen in a couple months yesterday and they were both like "Wow, you look a lot bigger". Gotta love that lol! My recovery is starting to seem a little bit better also.

I am just really hoping I see some decent strength gains from this stuff!

sounds good so far

Thanks for joining the party!

Good stuff man!

You're right where it should start kicking in!

Looking Great Man.

Yep so far things are going well! Gotta love that all-day full, pumped feeling!

Question for the reps: Should I expect decent strength gains with this? Or is it more of a bulk gainer?

It's well suited for both, mass and strength. Diet and training is the key.

If only yall could come up with something that didn't require diet and exercise! :poke:

Cool. I was just curious because I have heard people say compound X is good for strength but not as much for size, and vice versa. Didn't know what Bulk Up was better suited for but am glad to hear both!

It will provide consistent, maintainable gains in both departments!

How did your run go? What gains did you get and keep?

I know in my run with PPs version the strength gains were Way more noticeable then weight or body changes. Made the gym experience very enjoyable!

Yeah, everybody reacts differently. Androsterone and epiandrosterone in BULK-UP definitely minimizes the bloat and by doing so, limits the weight gain but it also may improve strength!

I imagine you enjoyed lifting when you were on it, I bet you felt like a beast with those androgens in your system!

How long did it take you to notice the increase in strength? Also, what were you dosing it at?

2 WEEKS IN

So today marks 2 weeks. I have decided to up the dose by one cap for the next week, so thats 7 caps.

I am also thinking that I am going to make a slight change to my training. Rather than using the SS style 3 straight sets of 5 reps, I am going to switch and use the Greyskull LP method of doing 2x5, 1x5+ so that way I will be better able to notice and take advantage of any strength gains. When using the SS LP style sets, I have to terminate the last set even if it feels like I could have gotten more reps. By switching to Greyskull, I can hit weight and rep PRs everyday. I just think this is going to be a better choice while running the Bulk-Up. I may actually NOT go back to the SS setup depending on how things are going.

Other than that, not much else to report since the last update.

I noticed the strength within ten days. I dosed 6 caps for first couple of days and then went to 8 for a month and 9 for a few weeks.

After last nights workout, I think I am going to really like the switch in my training.

I did a 10% deload which allowed me to get close to 10 reps on the last set for both squat and press. It was nice working in the higher rep range. I had a huge pump in my shoulders and tris after the press. Now next week when I do this workout again I will add 2.5 lbs to the press and try to beat the number of reps I got last night.

This will definitely make noticing strength increases easy.

I will give a complete update on weight and everything else after Fri. workout.

This is why BULK-UP gains are going to be easier to maintain vs a really wet bulker. Some of that weight people gain is going to be impossible to hold onto being that it is water weight.

Subbed keep up the log looking forward to how this pans out.

As you gain weight are you adjusting your calorie intake? Seems to reason that you would need to increase as your BW increases.

Day 16

Had an awesome workout today! Huge pumps and some good endurance!

Here's what is happening at 16 days in:

Weight: I am up 4lbs from the start, so im definitely gaining weight faster than normal!

Strength: I think I am starting to see some strength gains, as I had said before I just made a change in my training and today I was able to get more reps than I expected with the weight I was using for both bench and squat.

Pump: Today I was massively pumped by the end of my workout, felt really good!

Appearance: Muscles look much fuller than normal, and feel harder all day.

Other Stuff: I am still feeling very thirsty all of the time which is getting annoying at night because I am getting up so much to pee. And every time I get up to pee I feel super thirsty so I drink a bunch of water making me have to get up again in a couple of hours to pee and repeat the cycle. I have tried to just not drink more when I wake up, but I feel super parched and its hard not to get a drink and quench my thirst. Other than that everything is going pretty well. Im feeling good all day and feeling strong outside the gym too. Recovery seems to be much better than normal.

are u taking before/after pics?

No, I forgot to get pics before I started. The last pics I have are from the end of Aug after cutting and trying to stay as lean as possible for summer. I had started bulking shortly after those were taken and had put on a good amount of weight by the time I started the Bulk-up so they wouldnt really be very accurate for people to look at. It would look like I put on WAY more weight than I really put on with the Bulk-up if I used those for my before pics.

Sounds like you are experiencing the classic effects of a good hormonal product. Glad to see BULK-UP is kicking in! Personally I love the fuller harder feeling products like BULK-UP provide. Nothing beets the JACKED 24/7 feeling!

I'd agree.

So how is the training going? Anything to report SLW2? Keep it going the more detail on the effects of BULK-UP you can give the better as there are many who are looking for all the information they can get on it.

Well my workout today was unorthodox for me to say the least. I am out of town at family's house for thanksgiving so no equipment for todays workout. It was basically an all body weight routine. Did pistol squats (which totally kicked my ass), pushups, lateral raises using some water bottles for reps lol, inverse rows hanging under a table, and burpees. Even though its not an ideal workout for me I think the high volume was kind of a shock. My chest and tris were super pumped after the pushups! I can't really comment on whether or not it was a better than normal workout since I haven't really done anything like that before. It seemed like I had pretty good endurance though.

I am also definitely looking bigger as almost all of my family commented on my size. To be fair some of them haven't seen me in quite a while though. I won't be weighing in again until I get back to the gym on Mon. I'm not going to bother weighing myself on a different scale as they might be slightly different in their readings.

Other than that, Im feeling great! Very Alpha! Muscles feel hard and pumped all of the time!

I have been in situations similar to this is the past when traveling. While not something that I would like to do as my only source of training these on the road workouts can provide a unique stimulus that is certainly useful. Nice work.

I myself was a lazy SOB and am too looking forward to getting back into the gym today!

26 days in today.

It was great getting back into the gym today! I am definitely noticing some strength/endurance increases now. Since I have started doing AMRAP sets for my third set I have been able to increase weight as well as reps each workout! For my upper body lifts I go up 2.5 lbs per workout and 5 lbs for lower body. My bench amrap sets have gone up by one rep each workout while also increasing the weight! Very happy with that! Overhead press I have been able to add the weight and maintain the same number of reps. Good stuff there too!

As far as weight gain, it surprised me today. I am only up 5 lbs from the start, which is not much more than I think I would have gained without the bulk up. Whatever though, I am happy with the strength/endurance gains!

Overall I haven't experienced any negative sides and have been feeling really good!
