My HGH Pro Log

Some of it definitely was bodyfat. According to the scale at least, I look a bit thinner in my eyes. Still got a ways to go. And my strength is definitely going up, so I wouldn't say it's muscle. Chest and triceps tonight.

Keep up the great work bud.

It always feels good when you see the results coming in :D

what was the cheat meal of choice? Its needed every now and then to replenish the body... you can only deplete so much before your body stops responding

3 egg sausage and cheese omlet, chili cheese fries and a slice and a half of wheat toast. So not too terrible.

Got about 6 hours or so of sleep last night. Back isn't too sore. Debating whether or not to hit shoulders or cardio after work and school.

Here is the shoulder workout from last night

Shoulder Press
140x10
140x9
140x6

Upright Row
60x11(dumbbells)
60x9
60x7

Lateral Raises
20x12(dumbbells)
30x9
30x7

Shrugs
70x12
70x11
70x11

Nothing too crazy, but I was still sore from my back and bicep workout from the day before. And, I did 15 minutes of fasted cardio on the exercise bike this morning.

you like doing lateral raises one at a time or same time?

I don't normally do them, but I am going to start doing shoulder day separate. I used to do shoulders and legs together, so I added some exercises. I do lateral raises at the same time.

I know its tougher to do at the same time, but I find I get a better pump when I can do one arm at a time

Alright, I'll try doing them one at a time on my next shoulder day. Thanks for the tip!

For me, I'd say tougher to do them PROPERLY at the same time - doing singles tears me up, as I find myself concentrating on form way more.... Sometimes I'll stand next to a wall when doing singles to keep me in line a little more

all about what feels good for you.... I try to focus on the squeeze, form, and pump rather than the weight :)

Exactly : I learned that the hard way as a kid new to the weight room.

Yeah - for sure - when I first got into lifting, it was all too easy to fall into the trap of trying to keep up with what other guys were doing. I was just rambling about this the other day, nowadays it's just me & the weights...

thats right... its you vs. you, not you vs. them

Technically 3, because I never ever so close grip bench press. So 160 is a pr for that too, haha! Looking for some more pr's tonight with back and bicep. I will be doing drop sets for arms as well.

i used to give every body part its own day... now I do all arms on one day and love the pump

I split up shoulders and legs recently. I could do biceps and triceps all together, but it works pretty well with chest.
