Yeah Madds you're learning that I'm pretty much the smartest person in the world, lol!

Seriously though, I've gone through a lot of what you're going through in this prep. Just trying to offer my advice & personal experience.

Good to see you're still progressing well. That's a super low amount of cals, but if it aint broke dont fix it! just be careful post contest with your food in take, after going that low you'll be primed for adding fat (along with muscle!)

lol yeah.... your right.... and im stubborn... lol.... but I would rather go through with it cause its making.me learn....

2 hrs cardio is beastly. You splitting it up or all at once?

ill be splitting it up 30 min stepper break drink some water 5 minute break... 30 minutes again... stop eat my first meal for the day. after I finish wait 15 minutes lay in the tanning bed relax for 15 minutes... after that ill mix up my.protein shake... start my weight lifting, my weight lifting will be split up through out the day, so for example chest morning... triceps evening after cardio again...
after I finish my workout ill go home eat most of my meals the rest of the day. then stop hour ahead of cardio time and start again...

the manager at my gym said "i think your here more than me now..." lol....
def made me feel likei dont have a life.... lol honestly I really dont right now.... even my gf is calling me her old man, cause im so grumpy...

today is rest day... I need it...

yesterday I did another hour of cardio after two hrs of yard work, and then worked outonsome leg curls.... nothing to crazy... im still trying to fight this cold...

still having a hard time sleeping....sigh...
I had to chug some juice last night with piracetam in it... knocked me out!

I think the ephedrine is keeping me up....
 
one thing thats really cool about this dieting and getting ready for a comp, is the dedication is through the roof and how I have found my passion. I have dreamed about doing bodybuilding.... ever since high school... I had crohnes disease from freshman year of high school, now for the past two years its been under remission... my crohnes disease would kill my muscle gaines I would have a flare up and would be skinny at 140 lbs...

I am so thankful for where im at now... and its only the beginning my friends...
I am a christian and I thank God for his healing hand...

But it just all shows for a healthy lifestyle we need to focus on four things
physical health, mental health, spiritual health, and nutritional health.

also to keep my dedication I canceled my cable for my house. so all I have is music and reading...

also I have internet and I watch you tube motivational bodybuilding videos, during this time I noticed it helps to get me back on track and help me realize why im doing this...

Prayer and visualization is whats helping me... this is the hardest I have ever trained... and I really wanna step off the treadmill and go to a buffet but... I just keep picturing #1 in my head... Im learning so much through this and even about my body... I think anyone should do this...

Well you've made me want to step up and compete, it sounds like a really good experience. I've been thinking about it for awhile and your progression is pretty inspiring, you've given me some insight that has made me decisive about something I've gone back and fourth on. Good work and thanks.

im taking a break today playing some bowling and video games at the arcade... havent been able to take her out lately... so figure ahe deserves it... shes been so supportive :)
 
Oki. 3 weeks out boys!!!

Did my cardio this morning for an hour. That derma therm is so hott!!!
I rubbed it on my chest and stumach along with my quads, hams and glutes.... On top of it wearing my sweat belt, with underarmour and a long sleeve shirt on... I was dying!!! It was sooo hott! I was constantly lifting my shirt trying to get air to my chest lol...

But my chest was sooo tight from it...
Loving how tight my skin is all over...

Meals going good. Im making some awsome progress got a bodybuilders perspective and asked one of the pro guys that i know at my gym.. I took off my shirt and he helped me with my poses, and he said my legs are weak something ill need to work on after contest but my abs are my strongest suit and should show them off every chance i get... also my arms are another strong point... he told me to focus on my obliques more this week so my abs will really get to pop... He told me i have a really good chance up there on stage... :) made me smile big time hearing that from him....
 
Been feeling exhausted today... Went and speed walked around the boat. 1 min of jumpin jacks, 1 min of diamond push ups, 1 min of pushups incline, 1 min of burpees, 1 min of crunches... walked for 45 min. practiced posing for 15 minutes...
Got all of my supplements in but water i couldnt do it today... i just have no passion today... my focus is not there at all today... I dont know what happened... tomorrow is a new day though... We all have our hickups...

Ya getting discouraged comes in waves, and comes and goes like the tide. Sometimes I'm super motivated and excited about the gym, and other times I'm just not feeling it - usually cause I'm tired or hurting. That's why I like being on cycle, I'm overly pumped all the time.
 
Ya I've started the first steps of planning competition. I can't find a good local event to register for, just ones that have passed - is there a good resource for that? Anyways I've been trying to talk to the one friend I have that's pro and it's just been an argument on lightweight vs heavyweight, and going on trt. I'm like stop trying to make me do that, I'll do it if and when I'm ready, but I'm not yet.

Best advice is don't shoot for a class, it's your first show so you have zero idea how you'll react. Pick a date 12-20weeka pre contest and start dieting. Weights only a number.

Guy I know placed extremely high at north America's and was a lightweight and looks bigger than guys I've seen 20lbs heavier. All presentation ;-)

What state do you live in?
 
Ya you're right I don't, I just feel having goals will be good for me. Its like right now I'm not really working torwards anything and this will give me more motivation and help me feel more fufilled about what I'm doing. Not to say I'm not motivated or happy where I'm at, I'm just feeling like I'm wandering around aimlessly if that makes any sense. I know weights just a number, and I've heard I "look like I put on some size" even though I'm lighter - should I even be checking my weight really? Could I do this all from appearance in the mirror?

I'm in southern California, and I'm willing to drive to a different county for this.

machine rows 15/90, 15/90, 15/90
90 degree lat raises 20/20, 15/25, 10/30
lat raises 20/10, 25/10, 10/20
leg lifts 80 reps.....

workout as you can see was not the best... but I got my cardio in... hopefully I can get through this... last two days I ate cookies.... lol.. im so ashamed in myself... but im making sure to burn it off... tomorrow is no carbs to make up for that dumb move I made...
im worn out lol.... sigh*

I went and bought two powerades, zero calorie ones... maybe that will help might have been low on magnesium. potassium im taking on the regular, so couldnt be that...

its good... just worn out... I think I knocked myself out when I tried to go through the wall, metaphorically speaking... lol ill really feel the confidence when I get home. Started DermaTherm tonight. Started PCT and really hoping this will help me keep this mid section as tight as it is now. I really just want to maintain during PCT and stay under be under 10% till January when I really start a tru cut.

Stay with it Madd, all those reps should pay off when you show that back off.

was way to hungry last night so I upped my protein to 250... ive been eating nothing but tilapia... six meals a day... oatmeal I have after my cardio in the morning and the after my weighttraining in the morning or for the third meal depending if im working or not...

erase is working great last night I saw new veins... pretty exciting...13 more days fellas!!!

I feel better taking a pic in the morning... im up to my fourth meal now... kinda full from all the water...
trainer told me to up my water to two gallons this week... my body is so bloated right now.. I hold water easily...

chicken last week? why not tilapia? guess my trainer has that instore for me.... yuk... I think ill puke lol...
 
I did the same, a lot of water the final 2 weeks.

Yeah, chicken. I really don't know why it was chicken over tilapia. My trainer is as old school as it gets, probably why lol. Trust me, dry heaves were nothing out of the norm.

I would cut my chicken as small as possible, scoop a mouth full and chew like a mad man while holding my breath and drink water to was is down. Worst was when I cut water having to eat it....bad bad memories.
 
thats not even the last of my cooking lol.... had a late night getting food ready for tomorrow... off to bed now!!!
