What kind of gains did u make on 5mg/day? How much did u keep post-cycle?

I ran a low dosed sd to epi bridge.

I felt great on sd at 5 and 10 mg, and kept it all post cycle.

sd- 5/5/10/10
epi- 30//40/40/40 *

I believe that was my layout. I was recomping. I would like recomp on sd at 6 weeks low dosed

Don't think it's been covered, Intra workout shakes? 2 meals pre workout, does this pose any problems?

Nope. If you workout between meals i think you eat two meals ( of 20-25% RDI) then eat the rest post workout. ... guess that didnt really anwser your question about the intra drinks... O_o

I think it depends on the trainee... Lots of peeps train fasted, others snag a meal before training.... I grab a shake and serving of oatmeal about 2 hours before i train. I might try training fasted next week on shoulder day just for ****s and giggles though.....

I never thought I could train fasted until I got on IF but now I'm loving it! Been using Wendler's 5/3/1 strength program and am finding the combo of a 16/8 IF protocol and 5/3/1 is working great for me.

Ok, question.. what if you wanted to workout after your eating window closed? Is that silly? I do my cardio on rest days after my window closes.. well 2hrs after it closes..

I'm dieting pretty hard right now, and my intra workout shake is about 600 cals. Nutrient timing is huge.

cardio probably would not be an issue... If you get the chance (schedule permitting) try and get a low intensity cardio session right at the end of the of the fast. Its a weird feeling, almost like you have heightened senses....

I know exactly what youre talking about! I usually hit my cardio post workout (30-45mins) and itll end right around noon. But, it feels like a second wind/ my brain is fireing at ALL cylinders. Anyways, i know what your saying, didnt know if it was just me though lol

hahaha.... nice to know i am not alone.....

Just go back to it the following day. So long as it isn't happening 3x a week, it mostly just slows down things. The worst part of blowing it is that usually for the next 2 days perceived hunger is higher waiting for the end of fast time

Pretty much this... Nothing wrong with pushing a 16-20 hour fast if its a non training day, it will give you a mental kick.

Ok cool, had a little last minute social gathering full of tacos and beer, ended about 12 (usually stop refeeding at 7). Surprisingly, I'm not very hungry today. I say that now but I've been busy so far at work, 3 more hours til food and I should be ok. Thank you sir

ok, true in that direction the hunger change isn't bad. My IF fail is when my wife wants to go out for breakfast in the mornings or something along those lines.

But still the same, the blood marker and other changes that come with IF are not a particularly short term change, so its more the change over time anyhow. a day here or there makes very little difference. Really amazing overall how well the diet works to still have some sort of life outside bodybuilding

I'm living the bachelor lifestyle these days so I'm good there. Oh how I remember those arguments on why I didn't want to eat this or that, blah blah blah lol.

Yeah this has been amazing in that aspect. Funny, I DID go out to breakfast with a gal last weekend, sat down at 10:30 ish and ate around 11 (fast break) and there wasn't anything said about how or what I was eating. Def easier social habits, no doubt. I'm not sold on it just yet, but it's only been about 2 weeks for me.

Ok, so I've been reading this thread for a while now. From what I've read, IF is a lifestyle. But, to me, its a pretty simple lifestyle. You have an 8 hour window to eat and I think that's enough. Just set/monitor your cals and macros, exercise as normal and let your body do the rest. Is that the cut & dry of it? Besides having your BCAAs pre, intra and post workout.

eh I barely pay attention to calories or macros even :D mostly shoot for getting my bottom threshold for proteins + good fats and how the rest comes is less critical.

Yep. If you track while using IF youll see a big difference. Ive been utilizing IF for about 3 weeks now prepping for a show and there is a major difference from where i stated to now. Now granted i did add 30-60 mins of cardio every day.

I use bulk leucine, 5g an hr after i had 5g during workout and 5g after. Deffinitely less sore

After reading it, I realized that I'm almost doing it now. I wake up @ 5:30am, in the gym by 6. All I have to do is cut out my boilded eggs after my workout and have some BCAAs and I'll have it.

If you ever do get into a situation where you're being cornered to go eat breakfast, easy solution is to just find ways to keep the girl/wife in bed ;)
