RickRock energizes his workouts with Oxygen4Energy!

I just started my Max-OT week, yesterday. It will go until Thursday, so I'm going to wait until Wed/Thurs to start mine so I can get a feel for it in a heavy session with longer rest periods and then a high intensity session with much less rest. I have a feeling the high intensity is where it would prove to be more useful, as I wait anywhere from 2-3 minutes between sets on my heavy days.

No asthma here.

I just wish I was still in basketball condition. I miss running full-court games for 3 hours straight and barely being winded and having my legs cramp up on me before my lungs gave out lol.

Wow 158 is still pretty high, I guess your range is much higher that you are only 37, I'm 140 max but I usually stay around 135.

Yeh it does seem pretty high for most probably, but my range has always been higher than average. My resting HR is like 65

Yah mine is around 60 as well, I know you can go higher at your age so more ceiling would be more in the 150's I would assume. I don't know how much out of range you can go or for how long or the risks involved but I don't push it too much at my age. My cardio is pretty strenuous though. I can do intervals without going out of range.

Sweeet.

Fug!! I could have used this shyte at my last workout, felt like my lungs were going to explode and I could not catch my breath near the end. I rested a good 5 minutes and got on the cross trainer and my heart was still elevated. I worked really fuggin hard and fast though.

That's where it really shines DW! Cardio and high intensity training is where I saw the benefit from it
