Don't usually eat out. Was out of town at my training partner's Hard core Gym grabbed some chow on the way home and since they so graciously provided nutritional information I shared it :)

Workout:

Not sure how to log this... Went with new training partner to her gym, It was a good old school dungeon type bodybuilding gym. Much of the equipment was home made and there was definitely some interesting apparatus in there. To give you some idea, my training partner is a barely over 5' 118lb physique competitor. I am 6'1 at 203. Don't let the small stature fool you she trains hard as hell, and I was informed this would be a high rep work out. Hmm high reps when I am unsually in the 6-12 range and she's asking for 20 should be interesting...I'm scared!

We pre-exhausted hamstrings and started High rep squats, I don't know how many sets we did she was doing 20 rep sets. I was doing 225 for 15- twenty and was reprimanded when I did not meet my quota. My last set she said "do 25" I am not sure if I got it but I tried and I was winded with my heart pounding. Not used to doing that many reps at that pace. We then moved to the reclined leg press super-set with some other oddly constructed home made machine that provided a leg press motion. 20 reps per set, I've never super set two exercises that work the same muscle group, what kind of sadistic torture was this? Oh well If she can I can. Wrong!! I hate to admit it I was toasted, I tried to keep up but couldn't match the high volume until she started pressing me to complete the higher reps. On my final leg press set I stopped counting at 23 I am almost sure I got close to thirty then 20 rep leg extensions and abs. My quads and hammies are cramping like there is no tomorrow glutes are sore. damn! I was expecting to get my ass kicked but not like this. Your friend and logger is suffering as I type this entry cramping like mad, Thank's G, I appreciate that ...actually I do. I haven't had a partner in 10 years always thought I was good at motivating myself. I am, but not nearly so much as having G push me. Killer work out!!! Oh another thing it was so nice to be in a real gym, no glitz no glamour just lots of benches machines cables dumb bells and the smell of iron. I love that smell! Thanks G for the experience

Observations:
I am eating more and more Ab's still in and am still around 204 to 203 on my weekly weigh ins. I have always been very vascular but it seems to be attenuated as of late. Muscles are full. There was a room of mirrors in her gym for posing practice I was stunned at my back which I seldom see and is hard to light correctly for pic to reveal definition. I was impressed with my cuts. It is apparent to me that Ursobolic is indeed working.

Maybe it's just my phone that I'm reading that one but half your post tripped out on me.

Prolly just my phone then! For 46 you are killing it. Keep it up. I can only hope to have your motivation and physique at 46.

You can do it bro you just have to want it bad enough and proper supplementation helps

Great story losing all that weight, you were extremely dedicated. What are your thoughts on keto? I know some people who say it is the best method for fatloss and others that say it is way too taxing on the body, and considering you used it to such great success I am just curious if you had any horrible sides or health issues at the time.

Thanks,Keto is the way to go. I do not think it is that taxing on the body. Prior to my diet my cholesterol blood pressure and general health were terrible. During my diet my cholesterol and BP both plummeted. I was also eating almost unlimited calories I was eating bacon and sausage and cheese but still the weight fell off like water. If I needed to diet that's the way I'd go. My Doctor supported me and was actually in favor of that diet. His belief was that most of our ills are caused by excessive sugar intake. I am inclined to believe him

Try Testforce2 It works, Shes hot, somehow imagining her as my mom well ....really kills it for me, I don't have an Oedipal thing happening....but hey what ever floats your boat :boggled:

TF2 is on my list of boosters to try, so far not much luck with them.
i meant imagine if she was your mum fighting friends and men off her

That's what Pat said and that is what I've set out to determine. Thus far it proving out to be true. I have increased my carbs and calories substantially no gain in weight or fat.

This sounds real good,
your eating much more and still holding the same weight but possibly looking leaner also, i gather your eating a bit more than when you first started on day 1, more carbs and cals with no price to pay.

I to care little about what i weigh, its all about the look i am lean but want to be leaner whilst holding muscle and strength but without having to actually diet and drop cals/add cardio.

do you propose had you not increased your calories at all since week 1 and just stayed on the food/calorie amount that you were on to begin with, then you could have lost more fat by now?

It would only stand to reason, no gain on above maintenance would translate into fat/weight loss on maintenance

Day 17
Took 3 caps 3 times over the course of the day

Nutrition:

Breakfast:

4 whole eggs
40 grams oat meal
8 oz V-8 juice
1 cup whole milk

Mid Morning:

50 Grams Whey Protein
35 Grams Almonds
1 mango

Pre Workout:
White Flood
Purple Wraath

Post Workout
50 Grams of whey protein
40 grams oat starch
Dinner:

300 grams grilled ground turkey
200 grams Beans with tomatoes carrots onions celery and olive oil (Plaki, a Greek dish and a Staple in my diet)
1 cup cooked broccoli

1 Coldstone Creamery I Love it Size Ice Cream with reeses M&M's and nuts :)

1 cup fiber one and 1 cup whole milk

Workout:

Today was back and bi's. Tried something different. My legs are still destroyed from the high rep workout. Decided to try the same thing for back and bi's to give them a little shock. Worked out at home. Have a pretty sweet set up. Trained solo

Unassisted chins 1 x 24 1x22 1x16 1 x14 4 x 8 Brought the volume down but intensity up. Seated pulldowns 120 for sets of twenty, again on any cable and pulley system unless you know the ratios and physics you have no clue how much you are really moving, did five sets and on the 3rd 4th 20 was killing me on set 5 did twenty and then decided to take to failure got three more. Had an incredible lat pump. Underhanded bent over rows four sets with 160 for sets of 20 when possible sets three and four was only able to eak out sixteen and seventeen respectively. Did four sets of cable low rows with a weight that on the twentieth rep was excruciatingly painful and on last set managed twenty five with extreme difficulty.

Bis - Cable Curls with 70lbs 4 sets of 20, OUCH!!!! Then Cable preachers same weight 4 sets of 15 and that was all I could manage My bis were so pumped I could not touch my face.

I will not probably incorporate hi rep days into my routine every other workout or every third if I feel like I am becoming over trained.

Observations:I have added a lot of calories to my diet, the leaning seems to have plateaued, but as I said I have really upped my calories. I am going to run on the same caloric rate for a while and see what happens. I am eating so much I am not hungry in between and do not feel denied. Sorry the entry was late but it was Friday night, the Truth was out and about :) Hope everyone is having a great weekend

I was also eating almost unlimited calories I was eating bacon and sausage and cheese but still the weight fell off like water.

^^this

same thing happened with me a several years ago. worked great! but, got married/kids and is much more difficult to stick with any kind of diet.

also, i burped up smoke/steam today. i remember reading where someone else did this too. i thought to myself "yeah right, he's full of sht". well, it happened to me too.

It is not smoke/steam.. It is the powder in the caps.. I have done it a few times..

very interesting,
close to purchasing some but not 100% on it yet, i figure 4-5wks cant hurt fertility much if at all, after all the studys were on rats motility of sperm and not humans.
I do like a good natty product that ACTUALLY delivers havnt really come across any yet, im in the process of experimenting with natty t-boosters one by one.
Pams hot, she was recently on UK celeb big b, imagine if she was your mum!

ALL of the studies that this product was released on were done on mice. If you were going to take one into consideration (IGF, fatloss, MB) it is certainly worth taking them all.
I didn't read the study on motility, does someone have a link?

Dude your cheat is something I'd eat on a regular day lol. I guess that's why your shredded and I'm not lol.

I follow paleo diet so I go mostly by type. My fats are from grass fed beef and or coconut milk/oil. Carb from fruit and potatoes. Gluten or flour in even trace amounts causes me to have acute problems like lethargy bloat and feeling sick. Sucks lol. Oats I can't eat too because of cross contamination.

Dude, this breakfast came out in two plates and two bowls the pancakes were plate sized, I'd say 3/4 pound of hash browns and a bowl of grits and bowl of gravy and a large biscuit. I had to take a nap after I had no choice it was carbacide lol. Do you have celiac disease is that the source of the gluten intolerance. I feel for you, no pancakes and no bread ever no fun. The thai curry I made was MMMM good. I love rice especially rice soaked in coconut cream and curry past Nom Nom Nom!!

Nice and detailed log broham. Keep it up!
Thanks Bro, I wanted this to be the definitive Ursobolic log and I think it just may be :) I'm thinking I going to keep running the log for 8 weeks maybe longer. Results are good, I'm eating a lot more and staying lean. Hmmm should run it through the holidays. I usually restrain myself....maybe this year I'll put my gluttony face on lol

I might have missed it, but are you taking it with food as directed?

I believe he is taking it with some natty peanut nutter. I'm doing to same and I also take it with 1g of fish oil.

yes I either take it with a meal containing fat or with some natural peanut butter or a tbsp of olive oil. I also wash it down with coffee to which I've added sustantial half and half. FYI I think that may be the reason I am responding so well I think my high fat consumption is assisting to make it more bio available

For those that asked I found my Body for Life beore and afters those are from 98, I also found a vid of me when I was blubbery not quite to my max but pretty whale like. I'll try to get a good still out of it. if you folks wanna see how far I've come let me know and though its not exactly related I'll post it up. It may be inspirational. I mean I was FAT!! now I'm ok not great but ok

Looking forward to seein how much progress you made ;)
I should pull up some of my pics from a while back hehe. Always keep a pic of myself in my wallet though. To remember not to eat so much and get fat.

Had internet issues last night when I tried to log yesterday. No time as I am getting ready for work will post yesterday's log and today's this evening after legs and if I can get the pics scanned in those too. Yesterday was my day off the gym so not a lot to report

Are you running the log for 8wks truth or going longer are you staying on 9caps throughout and continuing to eat more if possible or you keeping your current food intake constant?

We apparently started about the same time since I am on my 18th day as well. I started at 8 caps/day the first week and increase to 12/day the second week. I am also taking T-Bol (6/day) and E-Bol (6/day). T-Bol makes me horny as a toad but I'm not sure how much it has boosted my test levels. E-Bol really speeds recovery. I have been eating fairly clean with a cheat day here and there. I haven't noticed any increase in body temp and leaning is very mild, if its there at all. I have four bottles in all. I will continue until they are gone and see what happens. Most fat burners say that you must use on a calorie defecit diet. Anything works on a calorie defecit diet, even asprin. I'm trying to test UA on a maintanance diet. It's the only true test IMO.

any more solo logs of this stuff out there yet?

Calorie deficit diet causes a drop in leptin...if Ursolic Acid in fact raises leptin levels (from a drop during deficit/fat loss (or prevents)) the difference can be quit dramatic than any other conventional supplement/caloric deficit regimen.

I cannot say I notice any thermogenic affects or appetite suppression either. But I am on a ~1500+ cal deficit (5 on/2 off) so I can report back on if this supp makes much of a difference on a severe caloric deficit. I have been on this deficit protocol for 20 days prior to starting the Ursobolic and lost 9 lbs. I will see how the next 20 goes and that will be the test for me of if this supp is worth it.. Would be nice to get a 10% boost in weight loss for the next few weeks until I have to boost cals again.. Glad it is working well for you Truth..

I am running it for at least eight weeks, if there is continued interest I'll keep in ongoing, Calories I am going to back off from the last couple days as the two days I've yet to log I have eaten poorly. That being said my cuts are still evident and I am convinced Ursobolic is working for me. I will at some point want to add a little muscle mass and will eat way over maintenance, I see no reason to end the log we'll just see what ursobolic does in a bulk

I agree, I am eating over maintenance and am gaining no weight, nor fat. Its nice to have a little freedom, I may back my diet down closer to maintenance in the next few weeks before turning it loose for the holidays and really seeing what kind of damage control Ursobolic provides

That is true but I'll miss my refeeds lol. Korean food is a favorite on refeed days :)

I dont see why you cant do re-feeds anyways...perhaps it will only add to the benefit of not only your mind but physiological. Only thing is your appetite may not be there as much, but personally I can eat chocolate ice cream way beyond my actual hunger craves.

For me it comes and goes, somedays its like the sweat machine gets turned on others not so much. I couldn't go that low cal for very long the Truth gets hungry :) I am able to eat now to the point where I never have to be hungry and am still lean enough to suit me. Let us know how it works for you

Observations: Still enjoying all the calories and no waistline damage. Ate a lot this weekend whatever I wanted. Still feel lean and tight. Odd observation, appear to be experiencing more rapid hair growth, having to shave my head more often and in my thinner spots on top where there was little stubble now there seems to be more also used to just shave chest once a week now having to do it twice. interesting wonder if anyone else is experiencing this.

We talked about this in the other thread a little...but this morning Ill add that I also noticed that my body-hair appeared to come back faster than normal.

increased protein usage?

No, actually Ive been going a bit more vegetarian most of the past weeks sticking to eggs, soybeans and tofu (protein shakes as well)...but my overall amount of protein has decreased lately due to better control of my appetite.

I know my hair on my head increased in quality and thickness when I recently ran ecdysterone for 3 months, but now my face and body-hair are coming back faster than normal.

Mr. Truth bought this up in another thread and it was funny I was wondering why the hell Im getting hairy so fast and it didnt even come across my mind that it may be Ursobolic.

Leg Day- Owee! Today I started with Squats, 135 to warm up x 20 175 x 20 225 x 20, 275 x 12 225 x 20

Hack Squats: 2 wheels a side x 20, 3 wheels a side 1x20 4 wheels a side 3 x 12, 4 wheels and a quarter 2 x10

Leg press, Warm up with four wheels 20 reps, 6 wheels 20 reps 8 wheels 20 reps, 10 wheels 4 sets of 15,
Lowered weights and increased reps Quads are blown up, 5 sets of 20 leg extensions I never pay attention to the weight stack on these what does it really mean anyway, last 2 sets with a weight I could only do six

Standing leg curls, to 90 lbs a side, worked calves on standing calve machine. Did abs on Roman Chair and Ab coaster

Observations: Trying the higher rep lower weight for a while to see how that works. Todays workout was strong and considering I am pct I feel I have lost nothing strength nor endurance. The only thing different is the Ursobolic. Going to clean my diet up a little and see what happens then. Questions? askem'
