Taman Cosses the bridge with Need to Build Muscle's RS Transaderm

9/29/11 Day 3, wk 2 Transaderm Day 14
5:05-6:00

Decided to change things up a bit today, brought out some movements I have not employed in a while. Focus was more on form than weight for most assist movements.

Bench - 195x3, 225x3, 250X4

Flat DB Press @ 85
12/10/6

Incline BB Press (Made sure these were taken all the way down to my clavicle, this brought out a mild discomfort in my shoulders, but no too bad. Have lost a lot on these)
135x10. 155x9/7

Assisted Dip @ 248
9/7/7 (5 more pounds and 2 more reps than last week)

Close Grip Bench (Trying to emphasize the rear head of the triceps, emphasis was keeping elbows tight to my rib cage)
135x10, 155x9/7

Dietary for today: 2685 cals (117 carbs, 240 protein [+24g bcaa], 131 fats) with an estimated burn of 4004 for a deficit of 1319.

Lower back feels a bit touchy today, this is unusual for me. May just hit cardio today and try to squeeze in the squat work out in over the weekend Saturday or Sunday. Not sure yet.

Your doing fine so far. Have you changed up how many pumps your using?

Nope, still running at 5.

With the low back pain, I opted for a rest/cardio day. 80/90/100% progressive resistance, 6 minute cycles with one minute step down, "sprinted" the last 60seconds/phase. 35 minutes total, 162 cals.

Dietary for today:

3521 cals (99 carbs, 232 protein [+12g BCAA], 125 fats) with an estimated burn of 3564.

Not sure why, been feeling really pissy lately. Don't think it is the trans, just in a bit of a funk. This too shall pass.

Well, aggression and irritability is something a few have noted in their logs, so it is possible Transaderm could be doing it. It will pass after a few days though usually. ;)

The acne is becoming more noticeable, as is the increase in libido and drive. Very motivated to do 2 things, 1) Pound Iron, 2) Get some *&%%#. Outside the acne, no notable negative sides, BP remains steady as do blood glucose readings. That little dip in mood I had was very temporary, all is good now.

Day 2, wk 3, Transaderm Day 19
4:50-4:45

Am starting to see some nice strength pay offs here, am very pleased with how things went tonight. No real evidence of shut down but must admit my joints are feeling a bit achy, shoulders have been problematic the last 6 weeks but now the elbows are also getting a bit touchy. I love the Heavy week of 5/3/1 but am considering for week for just staying away from the iron rather than a light week, heal up a bit and recharge the mental batteries(plus I do not think it is to smart to have a week off for week one of PCT.)

Anyways,

Deads - 300x5, 340x3, 380x3 (PR :) )

Assisted Chins 222
8/8/8/6 (almost a 10 pound increase over last week)

Seated V bar cable row 200
12/12/10 (last set used a long hold and squeeze at peak contraction)

Back Extension (my lower back/hips have continued to feel a bit tight, so I just went body weight with these)
25/25

Hanging Leg Raise (straight/bent knee)
25/10, 15/5

Did some stretching and a bit of foam rolling after this.

Dietary for today: 2824 cals (107 carbs, 260 protein [plus 24g BCAA], 143 fats) with an estimated burn of 4013 for a deficit of 1189.

Tomorrow, plan on rolling out before work and get in some cardio which I have neglected due to time constraints (Family and football)

Nice to see those strength gains coming man! Transaderm must be starting to really kick in! If joint pain continues to be a problem try upping your fish oil intake or adding in some Glucosamine & MSM, or better yet some Cissus. Always does the trick for me on Epi cycles, which will dry the joints pretty bad.

Have always wondered about Cissus, will have to give that a shot. Have struggled with bursitis in my right RC on and off all year. Added some light RC movements prior to all delt/chest days and the right one is feeling better but now the left is getting touchy :(. Those issues have nothing to do with the Transaderm, for whatever reason, my RC just can't handle DB Flyes anymore and it is a beatch to heal with out staying out of the weight room. Tried for Orange Triad for the joint support aspects and it was not really effective for this. Have had issues with tenderness in the elbows on and of since my first ever cycle last November (Halodrol clone).

Cissus and fish oil at about 12g per day is the best combo I've used for joints :)

Me too :D

I'm one of the freaks out there that actually looks forward to my cardio and enjoys the hell out of it! :run:

My son enjoys it too. Had my share of it during football and especially wrestling (3 flight stairs, 30+minutes non stop followed by sprints, all coming after wrestling in a human powered sauna for 2 hrs, UGH)

Last day of Transaderm (Sigh, day 30) Started on my OTC pct (Division 1, Anabeta Creatine Ethyl Esther and DA-HCG). Given that I am just coming off a cheat day, gonna weigh in an post final review tomorrow.

Final states for the end of our run: Weight: 275 (up 4 pounds), waist 41 (down .5 inch), 3 point caliper 32 (down 2 mm). So not to great as far as hoping to get weight down wo 245, but some decent lean gains with a bit of body fat reduction. Not bad. In all fairness, I should have spread my cheat days out a bit more, kept it to a meal instead of an entire day. Also, with the sleep issues and increased hunger, I did from time to time find myself stuffing a grapefruit or apple (or a few times worse things) in my mouth at 1:30. I usually do not have this lack of discipline, will have to double down on my efforts to get down to 245.

Ok, my youngest has his dedication today with the ensuing celebration, so I may not be able to post final review tonight. Will get it Monday at the latest.

Its all good a loss is a loss. And that is coming from a big guy himself. I get frustrated at times also. You have a good start now it is time to hone in your nutrition. Posting pics is a good way to stay motivated also.even for us big dudes.

still great progress man!

Youll get there. All about the long run!

Great job. Ill be starting my log tomorrow. Its like 11 here so Im headin off to bed.

You did great man. Obviously you added in some LBM and with the measurement going down around the waist you lost some fat too. The scale isnt always the answer. Measurements and the mirror dont lie though. Looking forward to your final review bro ;)

I remember when I was like 6 or so. just starting out playing football. My father was in the Marine Corps. On the weekend he would have me run with him. At the time I had no idea how far it was, all i knew it was a long way to where we turned around and came back. Up and down hills. And he pushed me to keep up with him and his pace. Eventually I was able to not only keep his pace but over the years I was able to beat him. Dang that felt great as a younger kid. Of course he didn't like it one bit.

I applaud you taking your son with you. It will only make him a better person. Hopefully you never become a upset when your son starts to surpass you.

Oh God no Chevy, he kicks the **** out of me on cardio now (the oldest that is), he can easily hit 5+miles. When it comes to actually jogging, with the PAD, that is not really feasible for me. I can ride the **** out of a bike or use any machine that takes the weight off of my feet, but due to limited blood flow, I my calves cramp very quickly when actually running.

The old man still pushes more iron though  He is much leaner than I am, has done some serious cutting (from around 250 to 215 the last few months.) Made me smile when he told me he was actually a bit jealous of the mass I carry in my pecs. (Coming from a young buck, this old boy will take that!) He likes to tell his friends he has a dad that resembles a "Bulgarian power lifter. LMAO.

Haha nice! I don't have the kiddies yet but when I do, I hope to get some comments like that!! I can imagine if I get a girl, I'll tell her that before any date she has to invite the boy over and he has to lift with me, either in the gym or in (with luck i'll have a 'dungeon' at my place hahahah) a home gym. Maybe, I'll have my GPP or conditioning all nice and polished by then too. My reasoning will be that I want my little girl to have a man who can defend her and is cream of the crop!

Hahaha! yea maybe I'll have a mat at home and just see if he can roll some Judo with me! Man, I donno if even my wife would approve of that though.
OR! She'll be 100% behind it and be like... "It's okay, I was a nurse in Japan. If he tries to kill you I might be able to save your life!"
