EPI/V, PCT Revolution Black Contest Prep!! Watch an Old Fugger Cheat Time!!!

Ok a bit more challenging at the gym, got all my reps except for I had to back off on the second set of push press as my shoulder did not feel that good. I was going a bit deep with my negatives I think. Speaking of negatives, I have been really working them on obar curls and it is paying dividends.

Finished with a grueling session of hamstring work which was leg curl and stiff legged deads for 3 supersets.

I weighed in and was surprised to see I went back up to 205, which is fine by me. I know fat loss had slowed down this week but there is still some to be seen and I know I'm a bit bigger so all is good. I am too far ahead to worry about slow fat loss when I have the opportunity to put on a pound or two of mass and still lose some fat.

Nice update DW. Have you increased Cal's recently that explains the weight gain? I'm getting ready to do that myself, and was just looking at what the rest of you guys are doing.

I'm getting anxious to start adding in LBM, and I think I'm going with 4 workout days starting next week instead of the 3 I've been doing. 4 Build days and 3 burn days should be enough of a difference to make that happen hopefully :)

Never happy, huh? Get cut, you're too small. Bulk up, you're too fat. It's never "just right" it seems! LOL!

That is what makes you what I call the true definition of a "BodyBuilder" someone who is never completely satisfied, always pushes for more, bigger, better, leaner, etc. kind of like an artist, the hardest thing for them is to complete their artwork, because they never feel quite done, always feel like they can do just a little more to make it that much better. That is how I view bodybuilding, not what the stereotype, which is big dumb guys that get on stage and can't wipe their own asses, which is not what I'm saying they are, but that is the stereotype is all I am saying, which is the farthest from the truth!

No it's been status quo for calories but I have been holding my weight lately and not too surprised at some small weight gain...

I am actually pretty happy at the way things are going right now as I seem to be getting leaner and bigger...

Yah I guess I will never really be completely satisfied but as long as I keep getting better I am happy with that.

DW may I suggest you purchase the Rusty Jeffers Posing CD? It is well worth the money and better than the antiquated on by that NPC judge but I have that one as well. This weekend I am going to make those suggestions I talked about. Will be hard not being jealous of how lean you are right now spending that much time looking at the pics but may just motivate me to do more. :)

We arent ever supposed to be satisfied are we?!! lol You have a point though. When you cut, you start to feel small, when you bulk you feel fat.....lean gains has helped curb both those issues though for me ;)

Chris, you work with computers, why don't you make him a copy of that CD and send it to the Old Fugger?

I understand what you mean, I mean there is a big difference between being happy with the way you look and satisfied with the way you look! For example, Chris and Doug have worked very hard and look very good, both of them are very happy with the way they look, but I guarantee you, both of them could easily point out flaws and faults that we don't even see, things they want to change or should I say improve about their physique's, that is all I really meant by that, that we are always striving for more, for better. Now as far as feeling really good about yourself, HELL yeah, when you are lean, you absolutely feel good about yourself, it is a confidence that if you have never felt it could never understand, almost like having kids, LoL, if you don't have them, you may have an idea, but don't truly understand until you have them! LoL, I know I'll probably get ridiculed for comparing being lean to having kids, but it sounded good, LoL! Oh wait I got more, also if you have ever been ripped and are not ripped, then you are definitely never even close to confident or happy with the way you look until you are lean/ripped again, that I know from talking to all my bodybuilding friends and personal experience! What is your opinion on this Doug? Chris? I mean you guys have been ripped, then not so lean, then back to ripped, am I right?

This is the nail and that is you hitting it on the head...

I have to say that now that I am getting pretty lean, I know that if I get away from it I will be unhappy. I'm much happier being lean for sure, even if I do feel "small"

I bet you when your shirt is off nobody thinks you are small! I mean I remember when I got ripped for "Silver Surfer" I had friends and family actually tell me to stop, that I was going too far and I looked sick, but people who didn't know me and saw me didn't think I looked sick, it was what they were used to seeing, they weren't used to seeing me look so skinny in clothes and it was winter so they weren't seeing me at the pool with my shirt off or anything, so to them I was withering away, also because my change is usually more dramatic and that was the 1st time so my clothes were actually getting really baggy! Now, I'm like a Friggin woman, LoL, I have my fat clothes and my ripped clothes or skinny clothes as a woman would call it, LoL! Damn that sounded Gay, LoL

Dude if that is a current pic of you in that Avi...ain't nothing small about that. No Homo, but I would be more than happy to have those cuts.

Yeh that pic was less than 2 weeks ago, so it is current. I appreciate the compliment bro. Its mostly a mental thing with me. When you lose over 30 lbs you eventually start to feel small even though your only smaller where you should be..

I can relate to that a whole lot Scotty. Guys at work when they see me ask why the hell I'm getting so little, but that is with a work uniform on that is now much more loose. People in the gym or at the beach say other things like "damn man you are looking great and ripped bro" so to those that have done the whole cut down to a lower bodyfat thing they will understand. But the general public doesn't realize just how much fat that a normal person carries around....

Doug you look great. Many O man your age , well I dont know a single one that looks as good as you. I am sure they are out their. Time to jump in a masters show and do your best

it looks like your belly button is frowning lol

The general public consists of mostly lazy McDonalds eating haters who make excuses as to why they look the way they do. Never taking into account the hard work we do to look they way we do...assuming it's just easy because we have...oh this is my favorite..."fast metabolisms" where do these misconceptions stem from? Wow sorry guys don't know where that came from...I feel much better though.

yep. it comes from ignorance ever seen Penn and tellers genetic one? yes genetics to matter when you get down to it, but they take it way out of context and say some people are destined to be fat so peiople give up and dont even try.

If I haven't seen any growth in a while I will feel small and then I will see someone and say to my wife "that guys big" and she'll say "he's not as big as you". This time though I am making some gains while I get leaner....

Dude if that is a current pic of you in that Avi...ain't nothing small about that. No Homo, but I would be more than happy to have those cuts.

Yah he's not small at all...

Just and illusion

When you're very lean the less you wear the better you look, street clothes have you looking small but when you take your shirt off you look big. That's one way you know you're cut...

Doug you look great. Many O man your age , well I dont know a single one that looks as good as you. I am sure they are out their. Time to jump in a masters show and do your best

Thanks and yah 9 weeks I'll be doing just that.

That area is still a bit loose but as I continue to get leaner we should see some veins in my lower abdominal area which may give me a harder look and distract from that. Actually I can just barely see them now...

lol I have an extremely slow one, I'm a fat fugger in a jacked mans body....

Yah I know. I do not have great genetics and never had a meso body type till I worked my azz off to get one. I'm proud of what I have been able to accomplish and let people think what they want.

I'm with you old fugg. I can't even have what some refer to as a cheat meal or I gain instantly...sucks but keeps me humble.

Dude if that is a current pic of you in that Avi...ain't nothing small about that. No Homo, but I would be more than happy to have those cuts.
No joke. He has done a great job as well. Heck if I looked half as good as Doug when I am his age I would happy also. Both have come so far. Congrats to both of you.

Thanks Jeff! You really need to give yourself a huge pat on the back yourself. What you have accomplished to now is inspiring to say the least bud ;)

I can on Lean Gains but I usually add in some cardio to make up for it... works great.

Thanks, I have to admit, it feels fuggin good...

No doubt, and it's going to get much better because he's determined. I used to be over 300 lbs and lost 70 lbs in five months, then I went up to 280 and 4 years ago I went back to the gym and now I am ripped. I know it can be done, you only have to want it badly enough.

Well I have a situation... I have a life long friend who came to visit me a month ago, he is a remarkable human being and I love him like a brother, admire and respect him. Man helped save my life and was my first and only sponsor when I got sober.

Well he bought a leather jacket when he was down and it had to be altered so he payed cash and was told he could pick it up the next day. Well it wasn't ready so they said they would mail it to him as they did not do refunds. Well it's been a month and they have actually been rude to him over the phone. It's really starting to look like they think they can get away with it. They don't know about me and I am going to pay them a little visit tomorrow after church. I am very fuggin angry, so this may not be friendly. It's a good thing I am going after church cuz I need to calm down, this man is family.. and nobody nobody!! fugs with my family!! I am going to pray for patience and understanding and try and do Gods will but it's going to be hard and they better have a good explanation!

Good workout yesterday I was able to do 9 pullups cuz I am going narrower and that doesn't bother my shoulder that much.. the pulldowns did for some reason. I got all my increases but on the second set of push press only got 6, that's ok I only got 5 at a lighter weight on Thursday. 5's start next week. After that I am going to take 2 days and lift very high reps, like 25 to deload a bit before I start muscle saturation which will also be progressive.

16 bar of death, not my record but very good all the same. Did and hour of light cardio to make up for some heavy eating the night before.

Remember I was talking about veins in my lower abs ... well they started showing last night and much more this morning, by the next pics they should be popping. So looks like I will be right around 5% 8 weeks out. Just like I had planned.

PCT is pretty much mapped out, I will continue with Testopro and PCT black add in Stoked, Osta, Tor, DAA and Lean Extreme. Some of these I will run right up till contest. The last 4 weeks I will add in Prime and Anabeta, Keep the Osta, DAA and Lean Extreme going ...oh and maybe add Erase. I will be using Creatine Nitrate preworkout for the whole run. I am using tons of Recoverpro as well.

Sorry i'm in on this so late but awesome progress! Extremely inspiring as well

My situation with the leather coat was solved amicably as there was a situation with the Tailor and the lady who runs the store was quite distressed and she is going to send my buddy a pair of leather gloves as well...

Got a lot of walking in yesterday and seem to be looking leaner, I really like how things are cleaning up. Posing has improved immensely already and i am already making adjustments in my routine.

Absolutely, being ripped is "The Tits" going back to not being so ripped sucks. Even now you all look and say I am ripped, and I look at me and say nope not yet! I am lean, ripped is coming, and shredded is close to the goal and to compete you must be diced. People who have not been through all of these stages consider them all to be similar adjectives and maybe according to Roget's Theasaurus they are but not to one who has been there.

Why is it the world has decided that every time a man is concerned with his appearance he is gay or some other immasculating label? We should all be aware of ourselves and our appearance. I mean of course you have different sized clothes for the different stages you go through. Why wouldn't you? In your garage you have different size wrenches for the different size bolts. Unless wearing all elastic banded pants like many a grandpa. That would be the equivalent of only depending on a crescent wrench for every job and we all know that just doesn't workout as well as it sounds...

I say take pride in your appearance especially if you work hard for it. I also say next time you get lean set your max waist limit and donate anything over that to someone who needs it. When you reach your cap on the waistline you KNOW you need to fix it instead of buying more fat pants. Make it an expense to allow yourself to become heavier than you want to be. I went up to 44's at one point. Now I have 2 pairs of 36's in my closet for emergency situations, and I am about to donate anything over a 34. If i want to go up to a 36 I will need to buy a new wardrobe and who really wants to buy bigger pants. Not me I will clean my waist line up before doing that just about every time!
Welcome Brandon... lots of good stuff still to come...
Tons of good stuff!

I'm a little late to this topic but TurningGreen is 100% right Bro, you don't look small... (no Homo) you look amazing, I mean seriously, upper body-wise anyway, you have all the right proportions, can't see the legs, I mean that is what I'm hoping to look like when I shred down, an exact 6'2" version of your Avi and I will be the GOD OF THUNDER... THOR!!!

That's why I'm suing McDonalds, bastards made me fat, I mean they have to be held accountable for me getting fat, it is all their fault, it's not like I had a choice!!!

Yeah, that's what I'm talking about, Love me some "Slave-Labor" products!!! I mean come on... your a teacher, ya gotta give those kids something constructive to do, I mean truthfully, those kids should be paying them to make the toys, I mean they are being taught a trade and real-life experience, you can't put a price on that, LoL!

Yah I have some 36's and 38's lying around I am really a 32 for pants now but I wear 34 cuz I'm too cheap to buy more. I like them baggy anyhow more comfortable.

Yah you said it brother, this log is going to explode yet.. while I get just nasty shredded!!

That's why I'm suing McDonalds, bastards made me fat, I mean they have to be held accountable for me getting fat, it is all their fault, it's not like I had a choice!!!

Yah haven't eaten there in a long time, I like a place with a decent burger.

McDonalds is my least favorite fast food yuck, BK is my best friend for bulking especially when your trying to get 5k+ calories :)

I have about 4 or 5 places in my neighbourhood that are independant and make way better burgers then MD's and and BK, and I still would rather just cook my own. I will eat gyro's or pizza once in a while though. Pizza is a little too calorie dense for me right now though.

I agree with you DW, but have you ever tried a "5 Guys & Fries"??? I know it is a chain, but I think out of all the FastFood Burger chains out there it is the best!

Yah I have some 36's and 38's lying around I am really a 32 for pants now but I wear 34 cuz I'm too cheap to buy more. I like them baggy anyhow more comfortable.

Yah you said it brother, this log is going to explode yet.. while I get just nasty shredded!!

Yah haven't eaten there in a long time, I like a place with a decent burger.

Yah if you eat pizza it's hard to get anything else in and you need more protein so impossible to get your ratios right.

Good round of posing practice last night but it made yoga a little tougher...

Had a talk with my new physio-therapist/masseuse, she feels confident she'll be able to get me by the next 8 weeks. I know this and yoga will really help my posing I can already see differences...
