Back felt pretty good today, nice tight feeling and good squeeze in the lats. I'm a bit disappointed in the pull-ups, but that gives me something to work on!

I'm going to be traveling this weekend to visit relatives starting tonight, so I'll be out of my routine. I'm hoping AnaBeta will help turn any crap food I eat (and I will be eating crap) into something better! Going to take my PowerChews with me to snack on since I'll be driving 12hrs each way!

That is awesome with the pull-ups, that is about how many I can do with just body weight when I'm like another 20Lbs lighter than I am now, LoL!

Thanks, I still need to work on my pullups! I'd like to do 20 solid in a row, and hang 45-90lbs and get ~5 reps or so (10 would be nice :D)...

I don't do chin-ups, I just do pull ups. When I want to work biceps/inner back, I tend to do more CG pull downs. Really the only pullups I do are as wide as the bars will go, I want WINGS!

Chest felt good today, a lot of tightness from the dips. It seems very sore on my inner/lower pecs. They're getting tougher, and it seems like my triceps are failing first. I'm leaning way forward to put emphasis on chest, but perhaps my chest strength has caught up with triceps and they're now the limiting factor?

Regardless, seems like chest is making good progress!
 
I ordered a bottle for my last 4 weeks, think I'll run it with some Prime...
 
AnaBeta is great stuff, I think it works best when spread through the day. A little tricky with IF.
 
Why does it have to be taken with food?

It improves anabolism so best to take it with something that gives the building blocks for anabolism.
 
Man Milas, I am enjoying the log so far. I have a bottle of Anebeta and am in the process of getting two more. The lean gains diet has me very interested. I might try this when I am back to training full time. Good luck bro..SJ

For the most part I can go 2 and 2 with noon and evening meals, however this does pose a problem on burn days where I often extend my fast in which case it would be late afternoon and night meals.

Fun leg day, really hurt LOL! Squats continue to get stronger and make progress. 405 wasn't bad, got plenty deep this time, hopefully will increse reps next week. 335 x 10 and 355 x 8 were both PR's for me, so good progress there as well. I'm going to keep pushing the weight as long as I can get 8-10 reps and stay in that general range for now.

I had a really rough time on the leg press at 900lbs, on the rest pause I almost didn't get the 2nd rep, I was close to bailing on it. Pushed through though, glad I got it! Some day I'm going to have to do leg press before squats since I am totally burnt out by the time I get to leg press...

Still doing great, and making awesome progress!

question on the n2 shampoo...have you used it and since your 31 do you have a widows peak? if so do you think it has helped?

which recoverpro flavor are you using and how often?
 
Haven't used the shampoo, no widows peak, but wife says the hair is getting a little thin so I'm going to try it at some point. I do like coffee scents.

RecoverPro flavor is raspberry and I LOVE it!!! I use 2 scoops around 9am and 11am for intermittent fasting. Taste is great and value can't be beat!
 
Take with BCAA.

That's a given cus if I am not eating I am taken BCAA's, actually that will give me the opportunity to spread dosing out. I have a drink at 5am and 8am and if I skip lunch 12 pm, there you go.
 
Yeah, while I can't quantify it, I just feel like spreading it out gives me better results. I haven't noticed much greater effect taking 2-3 caps at one time, actually feels better 1 cap at a time just more spread out. I tend to take 2 caps with my fast break meal, but I think I may try breaking that dose up as well. I'm at 6 caps right now, so I get a pretty even dose:

I got some SyntheSize and I was going to use that for my AM BCAA in place of RecoverPro for the time being. I'll still be using RecoverPro for my 11AM BCAAs. I want to see if SyntheSize will do more for me than RecoverPro. I have no complaints with RecoverPro, it's doing it's job really well, I just like to experiment!

I'd estimate 1/3 to 1/4 left. I may add a 3rd and throw in Natadrol for a natural stack...

LOL, I DO have a sweet tooth, lots of 'em actually! My biggest weakness is dessert! Sorry, I didn't know "sickly" in Queen's English meant "sweet." They don't tell you that on Coronation Street or Monty Python! ;)

Seriously though, sorry it's not to your liking. It's not just me giving it rave reviews though, so spread the blame! Even Rosie says it's her staple BCAA! Perhaps mixing the raspberry and lemonade together (or add it to your tea :D)? I like to dilute mine in a liter of water, if that helps.

I'll be on the lookout for a chap with a monocle, tophat, cup of tea and a crossbow from now on! YIKES!

Most things, oh I don't respond well to Creatine...got nothing from Deisel products... Tribulas Terr. I don't do well with at all. I just stick to the stuff that works for me. Cost me some cash to find that out though. Prime really pumps my strength but I have to eat boatloads of food to get gains from it. It's really better for recomp for me.

Have you tried creatine nitrate before? I don't respond well to any other form (I've tried just about every kind), but the Nitrate seems to work wonders! I never tried Diesel, I had thought about it with all the rave reviews, but just couldn't make the mental connection to how the ingredients would produce results (placebo?). Tribulus is only good for libido, so I don't use any of those products either (married with a hyperactive child, no need for a libido anymore). I've tried Prime with the 69 protocol, and it did nothing for me.

Very little outside of PH/DS seems to give me gains (ceteris parabis), food is the main determinant for my gains (oats in particular!). Whether I'm using something or not, if I manipulate my calories and macros, that makes 90% of the difference IMO. The only place I really noticed that was on leg days. I would get painful, and I mean painfully leg pumps. Never could get a get chest or back pump though. I do better there with Ancient Strength and some oats in my pre shake. Cell shock pumped me up like nuts though!
 
CN is great for a good pump. But Pump-O-Bol is even better especially when combined with two caps of AB preworkout. Pumps are almost painful (I love it). I know many think that the pump is worthless for building muscle (maybe) but it is great for motivation. With a good pump I leave the gym looking and feeling like a different person.

I think I went 4 pre and 4 post, 8 pre sounds good though... do you take it on off days, doesn't seem to be much point...

I don't normally buy supps looking for pump but sometimes I buy something looking for gains and it supplies Pump....
 
I think that's the only reason I haven't tried Pump-Bol, Hemavol, Plasma Jet or any of the other pump products, I'm a cheap bastard and just want gains!
