How many people here use Gamefly dot com?
Thinking about trying it out. Just looking for some feedback from friends on AM.
$6 for the 1st month and $16 a month after that for 1 game as long as u want sounds pretty good to me. 4 monthes would be like paying for 1 game. And honestly I wouldnt spend 4 monthes on the same game.
 
I use it, but its best to do 2 at a time, always got one then.....wait on new releases arent that bad either...usually

Thanks man. Im still not 100% sure if I want to use it. Ended up buying some Monsterdrol-XT with the money I was going to use for 2 monthes of Gamefly :lol:

It sounded really great with a nice low price but then I looked and also found this

Apparently they take 3 monthes to get new releases to the mail service :sad3: It isnt exactly a new post but if that is anywhere near true that would suck and be pointless.
 
I ended up getting Gamefly. Just recently though so I havent even received my game yet. Went with the 1 game deal. Starting to think I might switch to the 2 game deal. Just because it seems like the shipping times are longer than I expected. Will see how it goes though. I live in the middle of Georgia and my ship site is Tampa, Florida so in theory shouldnt take long.
 
How much difference in price is the 2 game vs 1 deal?
 
i use to do it when xbox360 first came out. wasnt many games back than i liked it

One game is $16 a month and 2 games is $23 a month. Not so much I want 2 games out at once but if it takes a while to ship them and receive them it makes more sense. Looking on their public forum type deal people are making it sound like it could possibly take them 4 days to get me a game. 1 to 2 days to get them the game and then 2 to 3 days for them to get me a game back.

I dont like a lot of games but there are enough to keep me entertained. Plus the idea of getting a game for a little while returning it and getting it again later if I want sounds good.

Also have you seen the previews for the game "Dead Island?" That looks like something I will want to play.
 
I actually got the 1st game today. So not too bad of a delivery time. Will see how it goes though. Still like the 2 game idea.
 
Do they release their games when they are available everywhere else or is it like a month behind similar to Netflix?

It seems like they get them when they are available everywhere but some could be delayed. As far as I can tell same time though.

If that's the case then I may check it out. I don't typically replay games after I complete them unless its call of duty or similar multiplayer game. This would save a lot of money at 60 bucks a pop for a game

Thats my logic too. The only games I will play continuously are shooting games online or sports games. With those you can just do the 2 game thing and have it out for a while returning the other for a new one. I dont even buy games anymore unless they are super cheap.
 
Yeah Tom it does seem like a good deal.. I may check it out sometime as well.

Rick I need to get my ass on some Black Ops bro and practice so we can go kill some **** together.. Now we just need Tom to get a PS3 so we can all KTS!

So I might be returning my 1st game(Fable 3) already lol. Had already played it before and just beat it. Plus the 2nd game(EA MMA) already came in today. I want to say I got a notice saying it shipped on Saturday. Didnt get the games I wanted most but still not bad.
 
I use gamefly and enjoy it

I tried the blockbuster one in the past and they NEVER had the game I wanted.. gamefly is more reliable IMO just make sure you place the game in your que as soon as it is announced. The longer it is qued the more likely you will get it

Has anyone bought a game from Gamefly before? I just bought one and now it appears they are not sending me a new game rental. Not 100% but that is the way it looks. Never got a email saying what new game they are sending and my q hasnt reflected a new game being shipped.
