AMS Anabolic Growth Kit RD- Packin on Pounds for P5sky

I noticed this a week or two ago . . . I am working out hard, I am exhausted, but I do not sweat very much. Not sure why this could be. I remember when I logged Ghenerate that perspiration increased drastically, my shirt would be soaked. Now I barely break a sweat, yet I am killing it.
 
Planned on working the back today but I started feeling bad last night and then woke up feeling like I got my butt kicked along with a sore throat. It was a rough and exhausting day with teaching and then 2 meetings so I am just gonna rest tonight. Tomorrow I have an engagement so I guess I will have to wait til Saturday.

Hopefully I can recover quickly so I can get back into the gym. Things have been going great and I dont wanna lose any gains, main problem is my hunger is down . . . . I will try to keep eating enough.

I live in SoCal, it has been in the mid 70s-Lo 80s. I usually get to the gym after running a soccer clinic so I am warm . . . it is neither good nor bad, just an observation

Not very convincing!

So today I will take in 3/day so I am ready to work the back tomorrow. Might as well kick some arse if I got the serm ready for PCT.

I do feel better today, but it's one of those sore, achy illnesses that I mainly feel in the late PM and early AM. I feel good between 9AM-7PM. It does seem to happen in winter when you have the chilly mornings and the warm afternoons.

Saw some old HS friends at a recent gathering, they asked me what steroids I'm using. I replied, "the right ones obviously!" Tells me something is def working.

So I upped dosage to 3/day so I am anxious to see how this goes the next few weeks. I def want to compare strength on my next routines.

Not 100% and it felt like it today. Still have a sore throat, still exhausted throughout the day. Nevertheless strength was excellent today, and I worked a good sweat.

Lat Pulldowns 3x200x7 increasing reps on this each w/o, followed by 3 hi-rep sets
SS-Skullcrushers/CG Bench 3x105x10 followed by db overhead press, rope ext


Intensity/Focus-
decent day, but still sick.

Pump- triceps still pumped and aching after 6 hrs, hurt to extend arms as I was changing

Endurance-
not bad, but you know . . . . sick, so I didnt push it

Strength- PD was great, pretty comfortable doing the 200lbs now. lets see if I can get 10 reps before end of cycle

Lethargy- cant comment, I am SICK!!!! not horrible but a light cough

Libido- I think its going pretty good, last night was fun!

Gonna hit the legs and shoulders after the Laker/Celtic game.

I will be out of town next weekend from Fri to Mon, should I cut the dosage back to 2/day over that time since I will not be working out?

Felt much better today and I was ready for squats. I reviewed my previous #s so I could add to that and I am now paying the price. Legs are feeling better but the shoulders are killing. The tri-set ti finish up kills, but I did better than the last attempt.

Intensity/Focus-
intensity was up as I was squatting, wanted to get the 10 reps on each but I want to be able to to walk tomorrow

Pump- I dont know about a pump, but shoulders are BURNING still

Endurance-
I am pleased with the 5 sets of squats at 225, I will get all sets at 10 reps this week

Strength- Improving still each w/o, def happy about the 175 on mil press. My PR is 185x4 and that was on a SD cycle. I am sure I will surpass that in the next 2 weeks

Lethargy- nothing to note today, but my friend said that I have been looking tired recently. Is it the AMS stack? Is it the busy sched?

Libido- Things are looking UP

Feeling like garbage today. whatever I had on Th-Fr never left. I did feel pretty good over the weekend that's why I worked out. Now I have a headache and a sore throat and just feel lousy. Perfect timing: wanted to hit it hard this week since I am gone for a 4-day weekend, plenty of time for recovery. But now I may be resting so that I get healthy . . . sucks

Sounds like the flu...if it doesn't go away soon, i'd go to the Dr. In the mean time, get yourself some Emergen-C from your local phamacy. Drink plenty of fluids and also get throat lozenges if your throat is pretty sore. As for dosing, i'd stick with the 3/day if it were me...

I've seen this happen before during a log. The supplement has such a strong feel good to it that people strive to get the most from it and end up running themselves into the ground. Listen to your body, its crying for recovery ! you have blasted away at it and now its telling you to rest. Of course if you have contracted a virus its a little different but in a diminished capacity fighting infections is even more difficult.

both are great products .. id use AromX ..since its by the same company and was designed clearly to use it after deca ..recycle is a great product too ..so itll be a win win situation

but if your running clomid ..id go with aromX ..stick with chewies lol

Thanks, yeah I have noticed this too. Unfortunately it is a virus and I am lying on the couch sweatin like a pig. The bed was soakin last night from my sweat.

what makes this even worse is that I was supposed to get away for the weekend but after 2 hrs driving we had car problems . . . towed back to LA and mechanic says it is the transmission. I cant wait to see the estimate!

Thanks. Rested all weekend, I am still a little congested but much better overall.

I have been dosing 3/day since Saturday and will continue that for the remainder of the cycle. I plan on going to the gym tomorrow and get in Tu/Wed/Th, then I am gone for the weekend for a school science trip. I am scared to check the scale, I def lost wt over the past week . . . no appetite when I am sick.
 
Day 37


Ok, it's been a while since a workout since I was sick so I took it easy and did hi-rep since I am not 100%. I def did not push hard I just wanted to get the feel back. I am dosing at 3/day now and will finish up over the next 2 weeks at 3/day. So far no negative sides other than possible lethargy, but I am always mentally drained after students are released so it is hard to truly determine lethargy or just mental/physical exhaustion.

Back/Triceps
Lat Pulldowns 4x150x10

Intensity/Focus- not much, still tired and annoyed . . . wondering about transmission $$$. I was just going through the motions

Pump- triceps were flush, guess because I went hi rep

Endurance- I was fine, didnt push it, just did a workout

Strength- NA

Libido- no issues

Lethargy- Just tired, I was tired all weekend. I relaxed on the couch all weekend, but this is from illness, not AMS cycle.

I hope to get things going good the final weeks. I will get back into a routine the next few days, then I am gone Fr/Sat/Sun, but I WILL be back and ready to push it hard to complete the cycle and move into PCT.

Thanks for all the support as the log/cycle got sidetracked.
 
Oh yeah, I am gonna add in Body Mortar tomorrow! I will use VasoCharge pre-workout and Body Mortar intra. I just need to finish the Vaso, it is clumpy and I dont wanna it sitting around to get worse.

Still not great but getting it done. Strength was good, but still not too motivated and focused.

Legs/Shoulders
Squats 5x135x15 went light because I have a busy weekend at sci camp so I dont wanna be a cripple
Mil Press 5x135x15 strength was good all the way through, could've gotten extra reps but wanted to get in the tri-set which kills

Intensity/Focus- still tired and lots going on, just getting it done right now

Pump- shoulders were burning as usual on the tri-set, superPUMPED and now aching

Endurance- muscle endurance was good on the shoulders, never felt too tired even on the 15th rep

Strength- same, no measurable gains because of the workout style. I wanna check out strength next week when I'm 100%

Libido- no issues

Lethargy- felt great today and it is my toughest sched at work

more motivation today for several reasons, guess I was really looking fwd to bench/biceps and also feeling almost 100% other than some congestion

Pump- Hi-rep Curls really did it! Nice and full, a friend said my arms were huge . . . and he is HYUUUGE. Also had some nice separation in the chest

Endurance-
really good on the main hi-rep exercises. I really had to push for the final reps on bench, but not too bad with 205x12

Strength- solid wo, but cant wait to really test strength the next week or 2

Lethargy- no issues at all the last few days

Libido- typical horny guy the last few days

Scared to see my wt drop! It is frustrating and disappointing to see your hard work paying off then "poof" it's gone. I am sure I can gain some back, esp since strength is still going great.

I'm gonna rest tomorrow after the long weekend at science camp, lots of swimming/snorkeling . . . and I was a tugboat for some of the weak/inexperienced swimmers, feeling it in the legs today, I'm sure tomorrow will be worse.

Getting back on track to finish up the last weeks, strength was good today and I am still noticing minimal negative sides, mainly slight lethargy.

Back/Triceps
Lat Pulldowns 3x200x5
BB Rows 3x155x8
Iso Hammer Strength
Skullcrushers 3x105x10
CG Bench 3x135x12

Intensity/Focus- felt really good on BB rows, havent done them in a while and focused on great form

Pump- my entire upper body looked swole after getting started, looking nice and thick. as always the triceps get tight and full on rope extensions

Endurance- feeling good, did mod hi-rep and always had energy

Strength- coming back quickly after illness, real test will be on squats and bench

Libido- no issues

Lethargy- people say I have looked tired lately, but had a long weekend at science camp . . . . 75 7th graders will get you exhausted

interested to see my weight but also scared of the drop after illness. clothing is tighter so I am sure it's coming back up.

wouldn't focus on how much weight gain/loss, you seem quite positive with upper body pump !! the mirror doesn't lie
 
Day 45

Pushed it hard on legs, wanted to see the strength gains. I felt good throughout the workout, just exhausted at the end of the tri-set on shoulders.

Legs/Shoulders
Squats 5x245x5 went light last w/o so flipped it tonight and it was good. The last reps were tough on set 5 but that's perfect.
SLDL 3x155x10 felt a good stretch on the hamstrings and glutes, gonna fill out the jeans
Mil Press 3x155x10, 2x135x10 nice gains, I am liking the switch back and forth from light to heavy
Tri-Set Lat raise/front raise/mil press 1x15x15 2x20x12

Intensity/Focus- not as focused overall but felt good the entire time . . . kinda distracted by douchebag trainers using poor form

Pump- always get a good upper body pump while doing squats: veins bulging in upper chest and biceps

Endurance- emphasized strength today except for tri-set which went well

Strength- def a nice gain in squats and mil press, also increased wt in the tri-set and wts went up smoothly

Libido- no issues

Lethargy- a little tired after lunch, but is the nature of the class: more independent work so I am not as focused.

yeah, 2 kits. AMS hooked me up so I could extend the log! Next time I run this I think 2/day would be sufficient for me. I experienced some solid size/strength gains at 2/day but did want to see the effects of 3. Also, I like to be cost effective and use the minimum amt possible for effects.

Great workout today, felt good throughout. Just sad it's almost over . . . couple more days.

anxious to lift the 225 for comparison so day went well. I did notice more aggression today, probably more me than the AMS line because I havent noticed that too much

Pump- Looking huge today, I was impressed. Arms were swole and veins popping on curls.

Endurance-
great finish to exercises, after flat bench I did a rest-pause set of 135x20, 8, 5

Strength- felt good on the bench, def uppin the wt quickly.

Lethargy- no issues at all the last few days

Libido- nothing to mention, just boners

Tomorrow is a rest day then I back/triceps on Sat. Unfortunately I am gone for most of Sun & Mon so a lousy way to finish the cycle :( I may have enough to get thru Tues, I'll check it out.

I do have one packet of 4AD left since I staggered the dosing scheme, started 4AD in week 2. During this time I will start DAA so it can build up in my system then hop into Clomid at 50/50/50/50 along with AromX in week 2 of PCT.
 
Day 51

Okay, this was my last day with AMS Anabolic Growth Kit so I wanted a final test of strength. I do have one week of 4AD since that was staggered.

I focused on bench strength and I was READY after a 5 day rest from the weights, some might have been placebo too as I was excited to see what I could get UP. Also, a gym buddy gave me a spot on my last exercises so I really pushed it. This was not a regular workout just a day of pushing it hard.

Supps

Chest/Biceps

Flat Benchworked my way up from 225 x4 and just kept adding 10 lbs, got up to 275x2. I havent done that in a while, and without assistance of SD, which helped me put up 275x5, then 300x2

Inc Bench 2x225x5 my spotter got me inspired to just hammer some out, I was DEAD after each set . . . .esp after my sets of flat bench

DB Curls started with first set of 1x50x10, then continued for 4 sets with 35lbs x20,15,15,15 . . . arms were blasted. Then after I was done with inc bench I grabbed a 55 and did 2 sets of 5 just for fun, I was still in the zone


Intensity/Focus-
awesome today so I get get some heavy wt up, I just wanted to keep lifting even after 1.5 hrs

Pump- arms were blasted and exhausted after the hi-rep sets

Endurance-
overall great focus and pump that gave me motivation, so endurance was sky high

Strength- great lifts, I was happy with the final results. The 225 was easy, though I only did 4 to get warmed up

Lethargy- no issues at all the last few days

Libido- nothing to mention

Great finish to the cycle, now on to PCT with Clomid and DAA starting tomorrow, then after 1 week I will add in AromX. Might also add in LG Anadraulic State for pre-workout..

I will post a final review in post 2 and the end so it is easy to find. I will include wt gain, strength gain, and bicep and thigh measurements.

I will probably not be as diligent during PCT but give a final review of gains retained.

Yeah, I cycled off it when I started the AMS Cycle. Figured it would be outstanding in PCT.

Awesome way to train the last day of a cycle. Balls to the wall.

I should do that midway and just push it. But I also didnt want to overdo it and get sick or injured. I did get sick anyways . . . :(

I am anxious to feel the pain tomorrow, my pecs are gonna be killing! I have been sucking down the BCAAs so I hope that helps in the recovery, maybe it wont be too bad.

Now the big ??? How will PCT go? I am excited to see how I respond to the DAA, I'll go 12 days on then 1 week off, then another 12 days.

I'm glad my log helped some people. I had never tried AMS products before and just kept reading and reading, decided to go for the RD tabs when the 50% off sale hit.

I am also enjoying the Body Mortar, next up is Nocturnabol.

It is difficult to accurately gauge my gains for a couple of reasons: illness & training style.

In the first 4 weeks I was up about 8lbs, then I got sick and lost some wt. In the end I did put on 8lbs total. I def gained some solid strength as my bench went from 225x4 to 225x10, and I put up 275x2 . . . never done that other than on an SD cycle.

My training was not based on growth, I did some endurance training with hi-rep (15-20) and alternated with a week of heavy training with 6-8 reps. I wanted to get some solid gains but also increase muscle endurance as I prep for a triathlon.

I experienced virtually ZERO negative sides, nor did I have to worry about cycle support products.
