How was your diet ? Did you kept it same as your regular diet .. Comparison to your diet on SD cycle.

Thanks! I have gotten lazy in diet. I eat properly but I do not count calories. I am 42 and just wanna look good, not too worried about abs and sub 10% BF. My diet is pretty consistent 3200 cals, but that increases as I prep for triathlons.

So essentially yes, my diet was the same on SD and AMS.

It is difficult to accurately gauge my gains for a couple of reasons: illness & training style.

In the first 4 weeks I was up about 8lbs, then I got sick and lost some wt. In the end I did put on 8lbs total. I def gained some solid strength as my bench went from 225x4 to 225x10, and I put up 275x2 . . . never done that other than on an SD cycle.

My training was not based on growth, I did some endurance training with hi-rep (15-20) and alternated with a week of heavy training with 6-8 reps. I wanted to get some solid gains but also increase muscle endurance as I prep for a triathlon.

I experienced virtually ZERO negative sides, nor did I have to worry about cycle support products.

Nice bro, do you have before and after pictures? I am about to finish a helladrol cycle and in the end I feel the same way..I wanted to hit 170lbs on cycle but I am just stuck at 166lbs...But then a realized, I am a lot stronger and look better and leaner...That in itself is a success..I may give this cycle a shot, still looking at a few others though....GL on the PCT.

Got in a quick but demanding workout. I am inspired to keep the gains coming as a workout buddy keeps saying this is the time. We are both in our early 40s and it wont get any easier to gain mass, that's for sure.

Intensity/Focus- excellent, I love Anadraulic State! I just wanted to put up big wt, not hi reps

Endurance- felt good throughout, but couldnt walk after last set of squats. Took a rest on a nearby bench

Strength- seems to still be climbing, I will keep testing this out and not do hi-rep for a couple of weeks

Libido- could it be UP after just 3 days of DAA and Clomid? Super-Horny last night

Lethargy- no issues
 
Final Review-AMS Anabolic Growth Kit

I really enjoyed this cycle, I was sad to have it end. I got some good strength gains and wt gain. I did not do a max lift early on but did at the end, next log I will do that for comparisons. I started with 2 tabs/day for each 1AD, Deca, 4AD and got solid gains. I did want to experiment and upped to 3/day for weeks 5-7. I dont think there was a huge difference for me, the first 4 weeks were great at 2. Next time I will keep the dose at 2/day for effectiveness and cost efficiency, if 2 is good why increase?

Wt: +8lbs, from 170 to 178
Bench: started with 5 reps of 225, finished with 275x2
Lat Pulldowns: 200x7 +2 reps
Arms: 15.75>>16.125
Curls: PR of 55x6

A lot of lifts were comparable from an Epi cycle several yrs ago but with less concern for BP and pumps.

Flavor: 10/10 kind of like a breath mint, tasted good

Strength: 8/10 quick gains in weeks 1-3, then it tapered a little but still solid gains. Probably better to have the slower gains so that it is easier to maintain those gains post cycle. I grew superfast from SD, but it was difficult to keep.

Sides: 8/10 noticed some lethargy in weeks 3-5, it did seem to subside. No issues with BP and libido was pretty good for ON cycle, thanks 4AD

Energy/Focus: 7/10 I am usually pretty intense on my own, very competitive. This gave me an additional edge to push the wts faster. Nothing too intense or overwhelming.

Endurance: 9/10 I loved doing the hi-rep routines and finished heavy workouts with a hi-rep set. Even on heavy lo-rep days I just wanted to stay and keep working out.

Cost Effectiveness:
8/10 well this depends on how much you pay. I bought mine for 50% off at AMS, so $55 for the set was pretty good, but if you buy it at e-tailers then you will be shelling out $65-75. At $65 for a 4 week cycle you could do 4 weeks of epi at 50mg, plus the epi needs cycle support . . . more $$

If you are an advanced PH user then this may be too mild unless you up the dose to 4 or 5/day, thus it becomes cost prohibitive. But it would be great as an early PH option, it is mild on sides, slow maintainable gains, easy on the liver since it is not methylated.
 
I am currently on a product called steradrol from pharma pro, it doesn't do ****! however, I own it so want to finish it. I also have ordered the above stack and want to know if I can still start it before finishing this usesless product (stack them) for the first two weeks?

I dont know what steradrol is, how long have you been running it? If you plan on running the AMS cycle for 4 weeks then I am sure you can stack them.

OK , this looks to be a trib alatus product whicjh is what's in USP Labs Prim. So you can def stack it for the last 2 weeks and then finish up with the AMS cycle. What do you have planned for PCT?

I'm still quite focused on keeping strength gains and keep gaining post cycle. I went into bench press with an attitude of conquest . . . I am gonna be huting!

Pump- biceps were aching after the 45x15, just started the curls and already pumped. Conc curls killed it, but biceps looked good on contraction

Endurance- feel great, I just dont want to leave. I am exhausted but have the motivation and endurance to keep going. I do FORCE myslef to leave at 1 hr

Strength- staying strong, I will keep pushing it. Maintained the same wts as during cycle, I will look for small gains early on and force the growth

Libido- excellent already after just 6 days

Lethargy- no issues, just exhausted after the workout. probably get to bed earlier tonight

Now it is time for 3/4 lbs of lean burger!

It's best used whenever you have an empty stomach or have been away from food for a period of time. This has more to do with activating muscle preservation pathways then digestion (meaning prevention of skeletal muscle catabolism).
 
Might be worth a shot to anyone running our PH's in the future to try this...

It's probably better just to use cocao powder. Cheaper, less sugar, etc:

Nope, no Cycle support supps. Since it is not methylated I figured I'd give the cycle a chance, then if I BP increased or any other problems I would implement CS.

Yeah, my arms and chest grow quite well, just got a narrow frame so no back width. The only times my arms are over 16" is when I'm ON cycle. I am 5'7" and 176 lbs with over 16" arms, makes me happy. A trainer at the gym tells me to lay off the arms a bit, they're too big, that's like saying your junk is too big. Even more impressive is the strength and endurance that I have maintained on curls. Going to the 55s at the end of a workout? What am I thinking? But I get them going for 5-6 reps. I should switch over to BB curls so I can get up some big wt and force some growth, then I will be curling the 60s.

I am EXHAUSTED today, I had a PR on deadlifts, that just killed me for everything after . . . absolutely zero energy left.

Wow Mike, I've never had a guy ask me about my BALLS! :yikes:

1. I can say that they were a bit smaller than they normally are, but I am very proud of my boys lately. Things are definitely looking UP :hammer:

2. volume was pretty much the same but I rarely measure, but the distance has definitely improved into PCT

3. PCT is def solid and we'll see if AromX has any other effects.
 
PCT Day 10

Changed things up a bit after pushing heavy weights lately, I switched over to hi-rep for increased volume. It was tough at first, mainly mental as I am used to going to 8-10 reps so I was fatiguing early. Then I got focused and just did the first 10 with ease, then when it got tough on reps 13-15 I was able to push through.Che

I am now thinking of adding on to the end of PCT to keep things going. Then I will take a nice supp break other than staples. Might go with AI stack of TestoPro/HGHpro/Glycobol/Stoked, I can only see things improving throughout that stack.

thanks for the reply, i think its important to cover these topics in pct as they are of great importance to many.

i'm glad to hear your progress was about the same as mine, perhaps we can get closer to saying that the above noted results of clomid-DAA pct are TYPICAL. My hope is that this will futher educate our community reguarding the intricate and delicate nature of PCT.

I forgot to take the clomid last night. Should I take the reg dose this morning and then reg dose at night as usual? Or should I take a smaller dose this morning?

I did my research like a big boy, this is not sa problem because if the half life of clomid. I will just continue dosing tonight.
 
no this is first ph I spent about a good 1000$ in test boosters in the past and didnt feel that a single one did a anything for me so am gonna try somthing a little stronger. For pct i was gonna use arom and daa caps is this sufficient?

I did a SERM for PCT but I also went for about 8 weeks. If you go with 4 weeks then you should be good with AromX and DAA.

PCT Day 11

Quick workout, got to the gym late. I just worked shoulders since I will be doing a lot of running the next week with soccer tryouts. I dont want to be hobbling around the field like an old man.

Endurance- the 165 military killed me so I went light the rest of the way, but went mod hi rep

Strength- still good, I want to increase next w/o and do 175x6-8 reps

Libido- going good and hard

Lethargy- feeling good throughout the day


I will get a couple of days rest with much going on Sun and Mon. Then I can get to the back and some heavy DL. I also cant wait for bench, I think I will continue with the hi-rep to build muscle endurance then the heavy wt will be easier. Probably go with 3x195x15 and build endurance the next few weeks. I want to get to 225 for hi-rep, I've gotten to 10 but want to go higher.
 
I am very happy right now. Weight is staying steady at +8lb gain and strength is still increasing, but not as pronounced.

My last chest w/o was hi-rep and my pecs are aching! And my shoulders too, mainly from military press when held at the top for several seconds, feeling it in my back as well.

Yeah, PCT is going great. This week is a tough week with soccer tryouts after school so I dont get my gym time for a couple of days. Oh well, it is good to rest a few extra days every so often.

Thanks for stopping in. Yeah, an 8 week cycle shuld def have a serm, no matter how mild the PH may be. I planned on a 4 weeker with OTC PCT but then kept as things were going well. These would be good to stack with a methyl so maybe that will be in my future.
 
PCT Day 17

Today was awesome: energy, focus, intensity. To what can attribute this? Rest the past 5 days? The supp lineup has not changed, but maybe the cumulative effects of the stack.

Endurance- not as good as previous days, I will blame the exhausting bench, I am proud of doing hi-rep at 195lbs.

Strength- still good as I up the wt. Maybe I'll do lo-rep to test strength in week 3 of PCT.

Libido- going good and hard

Lethargy- no issues and I have busy days now with the school soccer team and the talent show coming up. I am teamed up with 2 other teachers and doing a dance to "Cant Touch This." It should be hilarious since none of us really care to dance, and def zero dance training . . . . just doing it for the comedy.:240:

PCT Day 21

Wow, 3 weeks into PCT and I am feeling great. I have lost a couple of lbs, but strength is still up and so is my size so maybe water wt with increased cardio lately. The workout started off bad as I increased wt on bench, when I put up 225x10 I had a SPLITTING headache. Thinking a lack of carbs preworkout or just over-exertion. Fortunately I felt better quickly and had a great workout.

I did want to hit legs or deadlifts but the squat rack was occupied so I just hit chest again.

I am not sure what is making a big difference from previous PCTs. I have always used clomid and things went well, but this is going GREAT! The DAA must def have an impact because I have never used it before in PCT or otherwise. Then there is the AromX which is new to me, but the day I took 1 RD tab pre-workout I probably felt the best I have during my PCT.

Next workout HAS TO BE SQUATS!!!!!!

Strength is still solid, but the muscle hardness is not as pronounced as ON cycle. Wt is staying the same for the most part, about +8lbs overall.

PCT Day 26

Okay, I was up 8lbs after 4 weeks on AMS cycle then I got sick and dropped some wt from zero appetite and now workouts. I did get the wt back for a final total of 8lb gain, I was hoping for more, damn timing of illness! Now at the end of PCT I maintained the wt gain minus 1lb, and I maintained strength or even gained in some exercises. I definitely helped having a part time w/o partner who pushed me several times.

Now that I am finishing PCT I am going to add a couple more weeks of natty test boosting (Titanium/Erase/DAA) followed by some time OFF. Still deciding between two stacks for early summer: AI Swole Stack or AX MassFX/HardFX. The AI stack is proven but very little feedback on the AX setup. If you want I can log the Anabolic Extreme in June so we have some feedback for the community.

This was a great log. I've been intrigued by AMS' products and this log was exactly what I was looking for.

I noticed there were a lot of questions about what exactly Deca Vol is. to answer your questions very simply, it's norDHEA.

norDHEA is a non-methylated (non-17aa) pro-steroid. (naturally occurring in trace amounts in humans)

norDHEA can convert to the illegal anabolic steroid nandrolone by converting to norandrostenediol/norandrostenedione, and then to nandrolone. Nandrolone is known to have stronger anabolic effects than testosterone, yet weaker androgenic effects.

norDHEA will aromatize to estrogen less than regular DHEA, but because it is a nor compound it lacks strong androgenic metabolites. For instance, after nandrolone interacts with 5a-reductase, the metabolite dihydronandrolone (DHN) is formed, which is a weaker nor-version of DHT.

Ironically, the lack of estrogen conversion from norDHEA is probably balanced by the lack of androgenic potency and progestational effects, which makes the possibility of bloating and experiencing gyno about as likely as with regular DHEA.

One difference between norDHEA and DHEA that should be considered is the fact that norDHEA will have less androgenic effects, which may pose less risk of androgenic related hair loss and/or acne. This may be a smart choice for some men, and a decent choice for women looking for a moderately anabolic compound without much androgenic effect. (to avoid masculinizing side-effects)

Because of the low bio-availability, high doses must be used to notice gains in lean muscle mass and strength. Even with higher doses, the gains will be mild to moderate. Some bloat should be expected from the estrogenic and progestational effects of the nor-steroids. Because this steroid is non-17aa there should be less concern about it negatively affecting the HDL/LDL ratio.

Like the other DHEA derivatives, norDHEA would be useful in a transdermal application since the enzymes needed for the conversions to more powerful metabolites are concentrated in the skin and absorption through the skin using a good transdermal delivery cream could allow for 5-10x higher absorption than oral.

This compound would stack well with almost any other steroid, except those with progestational activity.

I wonder how much the Rapid Dissolve tabs correct the bioavailability curve of this compound. The original capsules were only about 4% bioavailable.
