My brother-in-law asked me if the white stuff attacked to the yoke was rooster sperm. I told him yes and that he had to eat it because it was where all the protein came from, lol.

dude if you wanna cut just figure out a daily carb amount and the weight will fall off. i keep putting people on this diet and they lose every ounce of body fat. you could be at like 12-14% by the summer time. keep it paleo, tons of vegetables eggs and meat. if you can get used to eating 100 g carbs a day it will be only a matter of time. thats if getting to a low bf is your goal.

lol.. i know man i know.. im carb cycling right now because when i did paleo my strength dropped dramatically. its not bothering me to hold a bit of water right now. any and all weight that i have gained from is water, because my clothes are still continuing to fit better, etc. But the strength is up like it was when I was on tren. So I will be going back to paleo shortly, just giving my body some complex carbs (i really doubt im over 100g a day) to use for muscle glycogen and to hit some new PRs lol.. im not in a race to get to a certain %, slow and steady wins the race just pacing myself before i adapt to a certain diet for a long period of time (cuz when i start paleo ill probably do like you said and run it longer, probably 7-12 months this time)

what kind of complex carbs? you dont have to go too strict on paleo. for glycogen purposes i do red potatoes mashed in butter, all year around. so my carbs are only vegetables fruit and red potatoes. i feel like i found my diet sweet spot with this because i keep getting leaner and stronger.

usually brown rice.

yeah i guess pretty much the same thing, glycemic load of brown rice is a tad bit higher. i like red potatoes because they are alkaline on the PRAL scale, which makes a difference when eating them with something acidic like meat or eggs.

hmm i love potatoes and eggs..... :)

theres probably a better list out there. all eggs/meat/poultry/fish are acidic (positive). you can see why oatmeal sucks, its a +13

heres the PRAL chart, positive numbers are acidic negative are alkaline. you wanna shoot for a negative number total of every meal..

What happens to these numbers if you were to cook said vegetables?
EX. grilled or steamed.

well its about the mineral concentration, cooking doesnt really mess with that. unless you are microwaving or deep frying i dont think the integrity or structure of the food will be compromised. just dont over cook the vegetables. the starches will remain acidic no matter what you do.

here is a better list:

I dont understand how lemons and tomatoes are not acidic....... LOL

Don't to paleo SC. Your on the right track. As you know all that matters is calories in v calories out. If paleo was a good diet you would see the genuises of our industry like Lyle, Alan, Borge ect reccomended it not teasing it. Oh and of course don't buy too deep into the GI since far changes everything as well. A complex carb is pretty much a complex carb.

Wwwwhhhhhhaaaaatttttt oh no he just didn't say that!!!! Time to freak out and smack me down with your broscience guys.

lol its not just about GI. its about anti nutrients in grains that cause inflammation. calories in vs calories out? thats some broscience right there. by far not every calorie is created equal. it is documented and researched that complex carbs create a spike in blood sugar and contain gluten among other things. also bread and such things contain an unnecessary amounts of fiber that leads to expedited gastric emptying, leaving your gut with less bacteria.

eat what works for you but dont bash paleo unless you have done research to say its inferior to eating grains. its worked for me and tons of other people. im in best fighting shape of my life, sleep better, dont have seasonal allergies anymore, injuries heal faster. i mean you take fish oil right? it has anti-inflammatory properties. i avoid eating grains because they are pro-inflammatory. complex carbs serve a purpose in terms of glycogen but other than that there is no benefit in eating them. there are no minerals or vitamins in grains. so by eating grains instead of vegetables/fruit you are missing out on valuable nutrients. excess carbohydrates can not be stored as energy and end up getting stored as body fat.

i can go on and on. please post your research that shows that grains should be a staple in everyone's diet.

oh and dont forget about the super high acidity of grains, them and cheese is one of the most acidic things you can eat. Look up PRAL scores of food. I actually posted a link in one of these threads.

just look at bodybuilders or the "fitness gurus" that you mentioned. if one of them or their clients was doing a bodybuilding show and wanted to go through a cut period to lose bodyfat, they would cut carbs right? otherwise theyd be walking around with a 2 pack and the fat loss wouldnt be complete.

Lol I never said all calories were equal. Can't get swole of only coke alone, however the macro and type of calories dictate only body composition and not total weight gain/loss. So the calories in versus energy expenditure is literally by far thr most important fat loss fact.

How said only eat grains. I always tell people to spread their calories across the board. Eat complex carbs, fruits, ect. Literally spread your foods across the board and you will benefit from it.

In order to lose fat yy gotta cut cals right? So duh your not gonna cut protein out as ts most muscle sparing out of all the macros. So you cut either fat or carbs, both have differance in how you will feel so ideally you cut both down so you can still have a moderate version lf each. Lower on the cals go the more your macros need to lean towards protein.

im sorry but that made no sense. im talking about the quality of something that you put in your body. that piece of bread creates inflammation when it enters your stomach, i dont care about the number of grams of carbs.

its like a car. sure yours will run on regular and ull get to where you need to go, but im gonna put premium in mine and outperform your car.

let's stop derailing this thread with 5th grade arguemengts.
