I have yet to eat a deep-fried turkey. I hear that it's most awesome. Gotta try it someday. But this year is a feast with the goddess' family. A huge baked bird is in order. Probably several of them!!
And I'm pre-salivating for some sweet potatoe casserole. :32:

Oh man oh man... You HAVE to try a Brined deep fried bird. Dont go with those crappy flavor injection methods.

The juicyness is outstanding. I will never go back to a oven bird after trying that.

The white is all bright n cheery. Not a fan of cheery.

I always have the problem on thanksgiving maintaining drunk enough to tolerate everyone but not so drunk I pass out or puke.

being sober on the holidays really took some getting used to, lol.
 
I haven't been drunk in years. Yes, srs.

But lately, I'm thinking a bottle of whiskey and some sort of mojito concoction are going to be in order come payday.

Note to self: See if "I Drink Alone" matches up in any way to the animated original of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas". If not, find how many shots it'll take to not care anymore...

Did anyone pick up any black friday deals?

I got a rocket type mixer (think magic bullet) for $20, and also Final Fantasy XIII for $20. Im pretty happy, now the challenge will be getting anything done until I finish that game.

Deals? Yeah, I avoided shopping and therefor everyone got to live. Good deal in my book!! LOL

Seriously, I went out ONCE on a Black Friday a few years ago to Circuit City thinking "eh, it ain't in the mall, and the place is usually dead anyway". WRONG!!! Made the mistake of going before I ate anything, which definitely put me in the mood to eat those in front of me in the LONG check-out line. I will NEVER EVER do that again.

Spent the day traveling to the inlaws and visiting. Still not ideal, but still better than shopping!!!

Yeah, made an order to NP this morning and I worked 12 to 9pm. F- going on in those sales. No thank you. If you keep your eyes open you can usually find better deals throughout the year.
 
Well I didn't do the 4 am rush this year, hit it up much later than the huge mad rush, and went with two things in mind so it was relatively painless, although I have previously done the early morning tackles, it takes dedication and patience, but it certainly is annoying.
 
I skipped Black Friday altogether. I'm holding out for Cyber-Monday. Now that's the way to shop. :yup:

took the miss black friday shopping was up 25 hours straight starting with a leg workout then dinner wit the fam then off to work then shopping all night then finally an hour of sleep before going back to work on friday.

target was by far the worse place to be at.I went after getting the rest of the shopping done.went at 5:10am and the place was packed had a line that wrapped around the inside of the whole store about 4 times.Insane.

Yay, finally back home :D

Target was also the worst for us. We went to Kohls(perty bad), Target, and Walmart. Kohls at 3 AM, Target at 4 AM(I think later, and we bought nothing because of the lines) and Walmart at 4:40 or so. I also made $12 for standing in line with a guy to get a second TV since it was one-per-person, lol :P

It was miserable, really. She wanted to go though, so :/
