Yeah, heard that too. Not all interested in trying either to be honest.

i was almost tempted by sd until celc told about the sides he had. who knows what long term effects these guys who run multiple cycles of sd are going to have.

Definitely. I jumped on the band wagon when DS first rolled it out. Bought 3 bottles and never used them after all the feedback started pouring in.

Boladrol is the arch nemesis of Godzilla.... Tokyo is in danger!!!

We're on your side! I hate Godzilla! I hate him too! I hate him! He destroys cities! Please, this isn't your fault. I'll get you some pants.

lol, each generation has it's vices, but hey lsd gave us all those cool Tom Petty songs.

It's cool SB, we all have our downfalls.:kidding:
Tom Petty is cool for 2 reasons:

1. He looks like a human scarecrow.
2. Everyone gets to yell "FREE BALLIN" to "Free Fallin".

That is all. Otherwise.... Fred Durst is mo' betta cool.

Amen, dude looks rough!!!! I mean holy cow, talk about living some hard years. Keith Richards doesn't even look as rough as Tom Petty.

And yes, I've caught myself singing 'Free ballin' a time or two. :240:

How was Halloween Tim? You scare the crap out of some kids?

Yeah, I didn't do too bad with them. Not quite as badly as I had hoped, though. I think that I just had too much going on for most kids and they either missed the scary bits or didn't get 'em. Parents certainly enjoyed it though. Lots of "wow" coming out of them. lol Next year, I'm thinking of doing something simple.... I've already started to plan. :D

I don't know about that. Keith looks pretty damn rough in this pic.
Admittedly, he's taken enough drugs to kill a large village!!

Speaking of drugs, who else is moving to California after the vote today legalizes marijuana ?

hell i live in indiana, half the damned farmers are growing pot. for all the money they have spent on 'war on drugs', they are easier to get than ever.

I can't wait to have a legal blaze in this country. As soon as California passes this (if!!!) Shortly after other states will pretty much be forced to. How are they going to control traffic through California's state line?

And now, a random GIF or two:

a better question is how are they going to deal with the work place? even though california makes it legal, i can't see corporations allowing pot smoking on lunch breaks.

It will be frowned upon, like drinking at lunch to excess...

as a factory worker i can tell you this-if accident rates go up, they will find a way to boot you if you are smoking pot-legally or not. this is just plain fact!!!

Drinking during lunch is frowned upon? Every job I have been to, it would get you down right fired.

Yah I wouldn't know I don't drink anymore but I have seen people have a beer at lunch. I don't know what would happen if they had more but I'm not sure it would lead directly to being fired.

This is true in 99% of situations I would say. I occasionally at work attend business lunches (meetings with people from other companies, etc.) and in that case, a glass of wine, pre dinner drink, etc. is encouraged. Even with my boss sitting next to me. But yea, it is a fire-able action.

As for the workplace control, drugs are in abudance now, as is alcohol. If someone wanted to be high/drunk at work, they are already doing it.

Honestly, I am a big advocate of Marijuana. It is more pleasant then alcohol for me, and causes significantly less health risk. The next morning I wake up feeling well rested (great for recovery), as opposed to wanting to hide under covers after a weekend at the bars.

factory conditions are highly monitored, if you have the slightest hint of alcohol on your breath they will send you to get tested. if positive they offer you 30 day treatment-after you return you get routinely tested more than others. 2nd time you are gone. this is a good thing when you are working around high speed heavy machinery like in a box plant.

as to smoking pot-i can't see them allowing this. accidents are a big concern in the paper industry, and i assume all manufacturing industries.
only a fool would be high in a manufacturing environment anyways, imo.

By the mid to late eighties Pot had just gotten too strong for me. It just kept getting stronger and stronger. Mexican was fairly weak then Columbian was quite a bit stronger then there was sensi and California red hair much stronger still by the time the hippies in the mountains in BC started witht the skunk it was overpowering. One small spliff and I was wacked for hours. Made me too paranoid too...

the difference being they can tell if you drank last night or just had a beer 2 hours ago-they can't do this with pot-as far as i know.

DING! DING! DING! You can't work drunk, fire-able offense. I'm sure that being high would be the same. Now it's just a matter of determining how high is too high...

Exactly what I was thinking T. And now for a whole new argument to ensue.

Anyway bishes, hope you all went out and voted. #613 at my polling place today as of 4:30. Time for some food then some lifting.

I wouldn't know how to enforce it either. In a perfect society I would say if you are worried about the person showing up stoned to work, then you shouldn't hire them in the first place, but I know it isn't a perfect world.

And that isn't something you can determine in an interview or two. Unless they show up to the interview high. :)

but the debate i am getting at is the legality of it. how is the work place going to deal with doctor prescribed pot. plus the fact they have no way of knowing if you smoked on your time or 10 minutes before work.

can an employer fire a employee for using a prescribed 'medication'? this would cause a lot of controversy since they have no way of telling how long ago a person took a prescribed vicodin either.

this should be a fun time in the state of california-as if they don't have enough problems already.

You know, I worked with a guy that blazed regularly and I have to say, when the dude was high, he was the hardest working mf'er I knew. Sober, he was a lazy a$$.

different when you are working around high speed dies and presses and often have to go inside machines-one absent minded mistake and you are screwed. i would have no problem turning someone in if they were stoned, for their benefit as well as mine. a box plant is no where for a stoner. speed and efficiency are the name of the game- no room for errors.

Mary-Ja-Wanna compliant.

There is no way I could be as efficient as I need to be high. Dope turns me into a dope. It took me 10 years to completely recover from smoking pot and Hash. The long term effects are quite astounding. :scratchchin:

thank god I do software development

Let the creativity - and Funions - flow, man!!! :240:

I'll admit, only did it twice - both times with a bottle of Jack in me, so don't really know if it had much of an affect other than some EXTREME munchies!! Though, out of curiosity, I might do it again. Not really big on getting busted and legal issues and whatnot, but... In life, it's all about the experiences. Carpe diem, baby!!

Oh, and county gov't job here. I sit at a desk doing web design, graphic design, publications, people interaction, and speaking to groups. I'm pretty sure that's all quite 420 friendly!! :D I couldn't even imagine hitting the gym high, though. Not just the risk of some serious injury, but that's where I tap my rage. Anything that hinders that completely puts me out of my game!!

Getting high makes me extremely dumb and lazy, no way is it a good match for the gym.

I will tell you what, when I was younger, a little toke and a cup of coffee, I could do circles around the gym.
Hmmm... thought: Weed vs. StimX The euphoria would be stellar. The battle between lazy and stimmed would be... stellar!! :D

Go give it a shot. You can only focus on one thing at a time... luckily it is the gym.

BONUS: Think of the money you will save on an IPOD when you have a beautiful sound track right there in your mind.

Okay guys...I think I just lost an hour. I woke up and I was pretty sure that it was 9:00. I go downstairs and fix a quick breakfast, and now it's 10:00. I want my hour back, to whom should I direct my request?

I agree... tried hooch a couple of times as a teen, it ruined my night, all I wanted to do was go to bed. If your in to that though, the Hawaians have the best.

BigT:

The vote was for recreational marijuana. California already has Rx Marijuana, so the issue of restricting the use of a medication while at work, most probably has already been addressed. With the recreational vote, the usage of it recreationally would have had the same restrictions as alcohol.
