Dsade's Training Log...Fall/Winter 2010

I wonder if protocol or an Agmatine product would help my hip? Ever since i broke my foot in bootcamp it acts up after squats or even something simple like playing football.
 
very interesting-seems weve only beugun to really see the whole value of agmatine. You guys thnkn of doin a product together?

I'm going to discuss it with him in Vegas. I'm loving the idea of a pain-reduction stack...whatever I come up with and Joint Force.

I think this wicked 1-2 punch on biceps this week put me a hair's breath under 19". My best size was around 19.75 not too long ago, so kudos to my muscle memory.

My concussion had cleared enough for me to comfortably add heavy legs back in. Should jump my weight back up to the 226 I was at a few weeks ago.

Winner for sure i highly anticipate this, i've been using Joint Force now for a probably a week and it has taken down the inflammation. Pain-reduction stack would be awesome.

Alcohol intake over the weekend softened my gut, but my bi-tri split is still somewhat there.

Stick-handled lateral machine (standing) 60*10, 75*10, 90*10, 105*6
Bent over dumbbell laterals - 30*15, 35*15, 40*12, 50*10, 60*6
Military arced machine - 200*12, 250*10, 259*10, 279*10*2
Machine military flat motion (unknown weight conversion from plate number) 14*12, 16*12, 18*10*3

Dead ass flat out pump up and burn. Got my new Protocol stock in right before leaving for Vegas and today was day1. Strong feel, my shoulder injury feeling great. I'll have to pick up shrugs tomorrow.

Edit - no I'm not lactating...pure nipple sweat baby!

09/28/10 FIRST MAJOR LEG WORKOUT

Wow, lost big time strength and endurance.

Hanging leg raises, cross variation - 10, 10, 8, 8
Hanging side twists - 8,8
Leg press (# plates each side*reps) 2*15, 4*12, 5*10, 6*10, 7*8
Leg curl - 60*15, 70*10, 80*10
Leg Extension - 130*15, 150*5, 160*5 (slow paced reps and static holds for last two sets)
Calf raises - 4 plates * 20 reps * 4 sets

Used Eviscerate on calves...hooo boy. Nerve firing was intense. I think there might be some cramping in my future tonight. Vascularity was pretty sick.

Gimme a break, I've been totally leg-inactive for 4.5 weeks because of my concussion. This was my first workout back.

Forgot my preworkout calcium...strength took a hit.

Warmup -

Cross-Form Leg raises 10*2 SLOW PACE and Static Hold
Dumbbell WIDE flyes - 45*15, 60*12, 75*10, 85*10
Incline machine...did a variable grip (started narrow then shifted wider with each set) 165*10, 205*10, 225*10, 245*10
Pec Dec (weird number indicator) 10*10, 13*10, 16*10
High-Rep Burnout incline cybex - various weights about 65 reps

Just somethiing I have observed over the years. 600mg-1g of calcium carbonate preworkout increases my strength and force of contraction significantly.
 
Lookin sick Matt!! I might have to try using Eviscerate on the body part worked to see how well it works for me.

Shoulders with focus on rear/side transition

Tonight i'm focusing on a final fill-in-recovery of my rear to side delt tie-in.

Machine laterals, 90 degree elbow - 80*12, 120*10
45 degree bent over laterals - 30*15, 35*12, 45*10, 55*10, 65*9
Static machine military (15 pounds per plate) 11*15, 14*15, 18 plus all 2 pound adds (8) * 8
Rear delt flyes (pec dec) 90*10, 100*10....total muscle failure and quick approach the end of Christine's "I'm nauseous from leg day, you better hurry the **** up and finish"workout.

Able to knock out 2 sets of 10 hanging leg raises and 10 side hanging raises.

Weight was a SOLID 217...my button up shirt barely fit back on...I need to stick to t-shirts now for both arm and shoulder days, much like I have to pick my jeans carefully for leg days.

Chest BLITZ! 10-06-10

Felt like going heavy, so goddamnit I went heavy.

Warmup
3 sets pec dec 80*20, 120*20, 140*20
Incline Barbell Bench, bar*20, 135*15, 225*12, 275*10, 315*5, 350*2 (SSLLOOWWWW Decline, not purposely but I was afraid my shoulder would give out).
Cable crossovers - 80*15, 100*12, 110*15 static hold on last 2 reps
Incline bench machine - 140*15, 170*12, 205*10

Hit total burnout then got a call from my neighbor to say there was more trouble with my psycho neighbor involving a crossbow and my dogs. Just a graze. Cops, once again, doing nothing.

Picture makes me look VERY soft. Weight 218.

Very proud of my 350 incline...but I have my sights set on 4 plates.

Neighbor's dog got into our yard about 6 months ago. He fought with our dogs and our dogs killed him. Neighbor freaked out, spitting all kind of bile and delusional accusations and tried to get me to hit him so he could have me arrested.

6 weeks later he tossed 5 pounds of poisoned beef over the fence, but Christine stopped the dogs from eating it. No witnesses actually saw him, so no charges.

Last night I get a call at the gym that the nieghbor was shooting crossbow bolts at the dogs. One got grazed and the others went wild, even sticking into my other neighbor's house...again, my kids saw his face and arm. And again, cops did jack crap.
 
Turns out to be more than a graze from the bow. Poor dogs torn up pretty good. I am losing faith not only in the police but people in general.
 
Been slacking on my log with everything that's been going on personally and with Genomyx.

2 weeks later, weight holding at 215 though my arm splits are coming back nicely..

No routine posted, as we had to go straight from the gym to my oldest daughter's choir concert, but got a pic doing a working set on my favorite bicep exercise...rotating spider dumbbell curls. Always squeeze at the top and go as heavy as you can. Keep palm facing face to hit the brachialis and burn in that split.

Didn't get a measurement, but pump was outrageous. I think the Smolder might actually be superior applied to arms preworkout.
 
JOINT FORCE IS BACK IN STOCK!!!

PA was nice enough to bring me a bottle during his trip to Columbus this past weekend. I will be using this on my left shoulder, and going balls out for a 405 Incline within 2 months.

Christine used it on her back and said this is amazing even with acute usage, and will continue to use it chronically to see if it helps.
