Pre Workout

I currently train earlier in the day and take jack3d as a preworkout drink, if I start training later in the day (5-7pm) what could I take to get a boost without keeping me up?

Have you tried a non stimulant-based pre-workout? There's several available, including Ultima and Invalid Link Removed, however I only have experience with Invalid Link Removed. For a pre-workout that contains no stimulants, the focus is incredible and the pumps...second-to-none :)

You could use more Jack3d...or some Anadraulic State GT if you are feeling frisky :yup:

I do agree mate, it isn't the cheapest Pre-Workout on the planet but from the feedback we've had just about everyone has agreed it's worth every penny :)

The ingredients in the formula itself are not cheap, of the highest quality and provided in effective dosages. This pushes up the price of the whole package and there is virtually no profit margin for us as a company.

Premax is pricey but its pretty elite. I love anadraulic state. If it were me I would go with Premax, AS, or make my own out of MAP, GPLC, Creapure, Beta Alanine, and BCAA's
 
man i am the opposite... I am very stim resilient, thats why love the ASGT i can actually feel the stims like in no other pre WO

Add some NO Infuse and were gonna get swole :)

In all reality, it is expensive, but I don't consider it an every workout PreWO. This is what I plan on doing:
AGST for my regular workouts. Any time I have a really big gym day, or I know I will try to hit a PR, etc., then Ill take the premax.

This isn't to downplay AGST, there is a reason i use it for most my workouts, its strong and gets you going. The PreMax, IMO, can be used on those days where you need a bit more, or want to avoid the stim.

The stims are exactly what i need to get in the zone before a big bench or dead, that stuff has me stomping around the gym and all fired up
 
A non-stim would be your best option; I'd look into hemavol, it has gotten great consistent feedback as of late and is being sold dirt cheap at the planet.

The thing with PreMax is if you wanted a stim, you could add it, but ingredient wise it is pretty damn well wounded:

GPLC (the only ingredient that is consistently proven to raise NO levels, which provides a range of benefits in itselt), Pomegranate (Insulin Benefits, anti-oxidant, glucose), Grape Seed Extract/Tomatoe Extract (Anti-Oxidants), 8 electrolytes, PeptoPro, Minerals, and completely Naturally flavored, with no artifical sugars (in fact Lou Han Guo is a sweetner source).

It is everything you need to ensure a quality workout. Want a stim? Add it in. Want stim free, avoid it.

Try this great product from Champion Nutrition called GlyProXTS. Also, cytodyne has a caffiene free vesrion of their Fast Twitch. I liked them both and never had problem sleeping at night. Currenlty, I am using Bulldozer XL5000, though each serving/scoop has 100mg Caffiene, I still can sleep at night withouth issues.
 
I have tried Powerdive year ago. I loved the product then, tastes good, mainly during college studies to stay up and concentrate. As a pre-workout, when it came out back on those days it was OK and it became popular through their T-Mag, but compared to what is on the market now I would say Not a great product.

How does ASGT compare to Maximize, strictly in terms of stims? I workout very early in the morning and stims happens to be the most important aspect I look for in a preworkout? Thanks in advance for any advice you can provide.

I think its safe to say Maximize has a stronger stim effect. But whats great about maximize is that its a gradual taper off of energy and I never have an issue going to sleep.

Each to their own but coming from a stim junkie havnt found anything that get me buzzed from the stims more than ASGT except Helios :veryhappy:

and im not a rep for the company just a happy user and they all taper off

LMAO im the same way. I don't care what anyone says, clen to me is a sedative, not a stimulant. Helios make me jittery and shaky, but I can fall asleep no problem twitching my ass off haha. Actually, any stim I can fall asleep no problem, sure it gives me extra energy in the gym, but I can rest, fall asleep, etc. PWO without any difficulties regardless of the time of day.

well for a stim one i like ASGT but for NON -stim DEFF PreMax from PP.
id also add in 2gcreapure and 1g Beta-A and 2-3g of D-Ribose from TP with it.
