Yeah, well, endurance has been VERY good. Astaxanthin seems to have a lot of potential benefits: anti-oxidant, endurance, macular degeneration, anti-aging, nutty libidinous boost, test boosting (and if you're me, Agent Orange for the head, lol; if you're not prone, or shaven, hit it).
I wonder if my flesh is now salmon colored (it's fed to farmed salmon to make their flesh orange).
Hey, emilio! I'd love to hear your feedback on Myodrol/Swanson. Iirc, I did the math between the two, and Myodrol was cheaper, but maybe I'm wrong.
I'm following.
Even worse than graveyard shifts are rolling shifts. No thanks, not for me. I don't have the sac to do that :run:
Props to you fellas who bust your ass and THEN GO TO THE GYM TOO
Thanks, GuyverX! It is a pretty interesting supplement, as it has a wide array of potential benefits. The fact that high dose obviously does something effective hormonally is kinda neat.
Oh, and stop working graveyard. I know, you gotta do what you gotta do, but nothing is worse for your health. I did one last week, I hate it. It's not that hard for me, just BAD for me.
I've decided to stop taking Myodrol. I'm simply losing hair, and I don't like it. I've got an ugly ass lumpy head, and i'd like to keep my hair as long as possible.
I did this log in the hopes that Myodrol would prove to be a good test boosting option for guys like myself who are prone to hair loss. Myodrol is supposed to lower DHT, which could have worked in my favor. However, I experienced all the side effects of higher test, and perhaps it simply overwhelms any dht lowering effect. The strongest effects were libido and endurance. A secondary effect was a mild recomp, as well as increased vascularity (without accompanying pumps, my veins were simply popping). It is worth noting that I stopped taking creatine before this log, so somewhere in the middle I achieved normal levels of creatine in my body. I haven't lost any size and strength has been nearly the same. Today was the first day where I felt 'different', and interestingly I've been on the low dose Myodrol for a bit now, and today was my first day without taking any myodrol.
It's a very interesting product, due to the performance and recomp effects, combined with numerous overall anti-aging and overall health effects. I suspect it's something I'll come back to once I'm bald enough not to care about the hair loss, and it might be the perfect supp for the 35+ set. At a low dose, one or two caps a day, it would be a potent prostate tonic which one could use long term. I would definitely like to see more people log this, and compare notes.
For now, I'll be laying off all test boosters. Time for some creatine! I'm thinking Green Bulge, Clout, or AEN PreSurge (of the leashed variety, not the wild Unleashed stuff).![]()
Sorry that you have the hair loss.
Thats a pretty harsh effect especially when the supplement per ingredients should either not affect hair loss or at the least prevent it a bit.
The only thing that made me shed was certain supps with tribulus in them.
Thank you for writing a great log/review.
Twas a good log poison, too bad you had the hair loss problem. But, everyone has their priorities and if keeping your hair is one of yours then by all means do it! It was great to hear what you had to say on this product.![]()
The whole hair loss thing just doesn't make sense. Mydrol is supposed to increase test by lowering estrogen and DHT. Lower DHT = Lots of hair. I'm confused?
I am 60 and have a full head of hair in spite of the fact that my family is prone to major hair thinning. None are completely bald but most are either partially bald or have major thinning. Moreover, even at 60 I have very few gray hairs. I'm not sure why I think it's because I use DHEA on a regular basis. I also have been taking Taco-8 for about two years now. Prior to using Taco-8 my wife was giving me crap about my hair thinning out especially in the crown of my head. Just the other day she mentioned that my hair was noticeably thicker and as ask what I was doing? I have noticed an increase in hair thickness also. I used to see my scalp in the mirror especially in the back of my head and after a shower when my hair was wet, but no longer. I can also tell that there is more pull on the brush while brushing my hair. I have to believe that Taco-8 is the reason. It didn't happen overnight but I'm a believer in this product not just for hair loss issues but for overall good health.
Well dammit then. How are you taking it, bbb? You just throw it in a shake?
