Lump at injection site...

So I've been on 10wk Test-e cycle @500mg/wk for 7 weeks and over the past day or two I've noticed a small lump on my upper right glute (about the size of a quarter). It's exactly where my most recent injection spot was (I've rotating right/left glutes twice weekly using 25g pins), there's no skin discoloration and isn't really noticable to eye unless you actually feel for it, but there is some tenderness. Has this happened to anyone else? It kind of caught me off guard and being the worry wart I am I started to freak out a little...me hopes it's not a brewing infection :sad3:
 
welcome to the world of injectables.

its not an infection brewing, ur fine. if it was it would be huge, red, hot and u wouldnt be able to sit and ud probably be running a high fever.
 
switch up the sites a little bit, I assume youre only pinning 1cc x2 a week into your glute what isnt much but itll help.

but yeah if its an abcess its gonna swell up, get really hot, red, sensitive, painful, and like nos said you'll be running a fever / have flu like symptoms.

you got pretty small pins but you pinning w/ a steady hand? cuz if youre wobbling n **** you can irratate the site.

LMAO i ain't gonna say anything! we have all experince this thing LMAO!
 
i had it on my glute last time, and it was last straw and decided from then on quads only my hands wobble alot always, i dont have steady hands

all ive learned is dont pin in delts lol.

sh it gets kinda goofy w/ pinning, even if you do follow the rules and what not.

i had been having a hard time with the gear anyway...i literally tried EVERY SINGLE POSSIBLE WAY to fix it so it wouldnt cause post injection swelling, pain, redness etc. i thought the last "fix" would make it work so i pinned....big mistake...but probably coincidence that it caused cellulitis.

live and learn

edit: to describe it in more detail, i developed a hard, red, hot, lump about 1-2 inches below the injection spot about 4 days post injection (hurt like f uck for about 7 days after injection). after the lump appeared over the next 2 days my tricep, elbow and upper forearm became red and "puffy" do to fluid retention.

went to the doc because i clearly knew something wasnt right. diagnosed it as cellulitis and sent me off with antibiotics.
 
Your injecting oil into your muscle, it was bound to happen ;).

Steadier hand, thinnest gauge possible can all help with this. imagine if you were doing 500mg shots =o
 
NB you can have a sterile abscess from the oil not being fully absorbed (esp. with higher concentration injectables and also abs. is impaired by scarr tissue). A hot compress to get some vasodilation and increased circulation might help get rid of it, if this is a superficial sterile abscess.

me = 500mg per shot, IMO not much diff it just leaves the thumb very numb :) from pushing

i completely agree. whether i inject 1cc or 2cc it doesnt matter... except to my damn thumb. thats why i use 23g, 25's and 27s take way too long.

it it was a 500mg in one cc shot, that may be different i dunno.
 
but 23's hurt too much :(
