Timber's One Month Massacre

If you can eat at 3:00 and 5:00 then the ASGT at 6:00 should be good to go for the 7:00 gym time.

I woke up a little earlier today - with a nice ECA ****tail... had my shake about 30 minutes earlier than usual as well.

Not sure exactly why, but I'm screaming hungry right now. I ate half a macadamia nut out of the cereal bag that I have for my 3:00 snack. That made it worse.

hahha half a nut. good stuff

how about this.....cawktail :D

problems, i solve them

2.27 Legs

Leg Press (reps*plates per side)
8*3, 8*5, 8*7, 8*7, 9*7

Walking Lunge
4 sets / 2 passes / 12 steps per pass / 24kg kettles

Squats
8*135, 6*225, 6*225

Seated Hammy Curls

25 min / 10% grade / 3.8MPH

Today was NOT easy... I was lethargic, hungry, and tired... particularly between 1:00 and 3:00... I had 1/2 c. of oats for preWO, then had two scoops of ASGT 30 minutes after that...

The leg workout was brutal. It always is, but today I was just fighting through it today. Made it through that cardio too.

Got a little nauseous during the squats. The ASGT works well, but very few things will get me over a 1000 calorie deficit in great shape.

May sound retarded, but on days like this I eat closer to workout and add a serving of the ASGT since effects are blunted somewhat by the food.

Good stuff TL sounds like you liked the AS-GT, not a surprise. LOL

Here is a progress pic, TL. Somebody asked for one. Looking a little bloated now, but after sodium depletion, the cuts will come out in full force.

Damn Mullet, you are looking pretty yoked...

I had a few days of misery - adjusting to 2000 calories. Seem to be on the upswing now though... I'm around 183 / 184 right now.

Just wanted to touch on the 2000 calories a little further. I mean, I've been hungry, but when it boils down to it... I haven't given up a lot of quality food. I've taken out some peanut butter, made some better carb choices, and saved myself 120 calories of bullsh*t dressing the retard in the cafeteria douses my salad with when I say "light dressing please".

Just goes to show that when I amp up the calories again... I can go heavier on the good foods I've been taking in, and try to divest the calories most people would regard as "clean".

I can honestly say right now I'm giving my 100% attention to eating 100% clean food.

Cals add up SO fast. My moderate carb day today

1. 30g oat starch / 66g whey shake pre-wo

2. Same as 1

3. 8oz chicken W. Green Beans/light butter

4. 8oz 95% lean ground turkey

5. same as 3

6. same as 4

I take it you're not much of a cardio guy goon?

I don't get down with the powdered carbs. I want to enjoy my oatmeal. :)

I'm actually a really big fan of powdered carbs, except ONLY directly post workout, and if on the correct supplement/steroid pre-workout.

When you are ready to raise your carbs a bit, you should try perfect carb and postal. I really recover well on these supplements... cool thing is how they are dosed... you can start with only <15g carbs if you want with the dosing protocol.

I use 2 scoops postal and 1 scoop perfect carb in my post workout shake, then follow that with hydrolized whey protein (until my PB lipotropic protein arrives) about 30 minutes later.

I however am not afraid of my carbs... but we all know that.

I've tried waxy maize. Absolute crap - never again. The only way I would ever consider powdered carbs again is if I was on some junk.

It's not all waxymaize, well Postal's carbs are, but Perfect Carb is a mix of 3 different carbs, WaxyMaize, Dextrose, and maltodextrin.

13g waxymaize per scoop of Postal is barely going to effect your diet/carb intake, especially if you aren't on a hugely carb restricted diet. And during the anabolic window post workout, WMS is incredibly effective (albeit you don't need 80g of the stuff to get results) in forcing the other nutrients like hydrolized proteins, amino acids, and creatine into your muscles.

I wouldn't knock this stuff 'till you try it. LG's new post workout products that include carbs have fairly low carbs per dose in comparison to other post workout products, so that one has the option to use the carbs at a rate that is appropriate to their body type and diet.

I am about to pay a pit of a premium (IMO) for a mix of 30% dextrose, 30% brown rice starch (like dextrose) and 40% potato starch (like WMS).

When you are low carbing a timed and short insulin spike with BCAA's is a pretty common practice

Try Perfect Carb. It's pretty inexpensive and the carb breakdown is pretty awesome.

Was brutal for a few days... Thought it might be the ECA though - which I stopped for a few days. Funny cause ECA never gave me lethargy in the past.

I fail to see how ECA could cause lethargy. I suppose that anything's possible. But that shit gets me jacked up like crank!! Or what I hear that crank does...........

It does odd stuff to me too. I remember my heart pounding but yawning and wanting to go to bed.

NYC - much easier on system and does not cause this

Fair enough, use what you're gonna use then.

Don't know what you have against my post WO banana... It's one thing to suggest something new - but like I've said... Been down the WMS / Malt / Dex road before and it's probably one of the worst things I've ever used.

Bananas are cool man no worries but why was it so bad when you went with powders?

Wondering WTF they did to you? Ride on the poop-express?

We're so much alike.......it's frightening. :sgrin:

I also opt for the PWO banana. At least it's loaded with potassium.:banana:

The WMS/Malt/Dex left me bloated and nauseated......badly. :Flush::puke:

Just like Thunder said... bloated, nauseated...

It's just something the body doesn't need, IMO. I get plenty of food in, and whenever possible - I like to keep my intake as natural and unprocessed as possible.

To think that your body is unable to convert fructose fast enough to jam in your muscles sounds whacked to me.

Plus a banana is what... ~10 cents?

Ive been noticing more pumps intra workout dumping 3 caps Slin, some kwick karb, and BCAA's. It seems to work more that way or else I get the same symptoms as you. I don't use it any other way, no need.

Sounds good man. I just get OCD when I am cutting, heck iots probably why I always gain muscle when I cut. Carbs are a supplement to me when I cut aka not part of my normal diet so I like to know they are precisely measured and set up to serve their purpose.

If it's not broke - don't fix it. :fing02:
