PES "Get Up and Go Stack" (Alpha T2 and OEP) Review/Log

Day 6: Everything seems to be coming along. Cardio is picking up, strength is picking up, and I'm sweating like crazy with energy to spare, so far I'm really pleased with this stack. Seems to be a good compliment to my diet which is fairly strict and I don't seem to be having any trouble sticking to it. Well, I did have a few Gummy Butterflies, but all the rest of the Easter candy went to work with my girlfriend. lol Nothing out of the ordinary to report, so it's off to finish my post workout shake and relax.

Oh and that NIFS sounds good. I love the price of my Ballys membership, but the dumbells only go up to 95lbs and that doesn't cut it for back or chest days really and I prefer dumbells to a barbell. Maybe I'll have to sneak over to Golds and see how heavy theirs go.

Edit: Oh it looks like my EndoAmp Max will be here tomorrow, as will a couple tubs of Muscle Marinade I ordered when it was on sale (couldn't resist). I'm looking forward to adding the EndoAmp in and I'll rotate the Muscle Marinade in once I finish the first container of Jack3d, just to keep things interesting.

What dose endoamp will you be using?

No idea actually. lol I got some based on DAdams' suggestion, and based on what he said I'd take at least one dose immediately upon waking, but aside from that I haven't given it much thought just yet. Anyone/everyone feel free to chime in on dosages, timing, etc. Time for the gym.
 
Does DermaTherm Target actually work? I'm always so skeptical of topical fat loss stuff, but Primordial's EndoAmp absolutely seems top shelf, and they certainly don't seem like they'd attempt to sell anyone any "magic beans".

never tried derma therm, but pp got their reputation on topicals. so if anyone could do it...
 
End of Day 7: One week in and everything is coming along nicely I think. Today I got in my EndoAmp and I'll use some when I wake up (man are those "tubs" small).

I also got in some Muscle Marinade and decided to try that. Initial impression: Good flavor (Grape Juice, also got some of the punch but didn't try that), seemed to be good preworkout, but man is there just a $hit ton of coloring in it. I got some powder on my fingers and washed them and they're stained purplish pink. It's a deep purple color and looks nice, but I just don't see the point in adding all that in. I think they could make it without the coloring, call it "natural" and charge a couple bucks more. lol I'd pay extra just to not have that garbage in there. I'll keep alternating it with Jack3d, but most likely I'll stick with Jack3d since it doesn't have that stuff in it. Time for some chicken.

dermatherm did a good job to me. I won't say it's perfect but, toned me mostly in my midsection. can finally see the pack formin. :) i got some left over so i'm stackin it w/ oep/t-2.

good log goin so far man. keep it goin. I'm on day 3 on my stack as well and all I can say is wow and I wish that I will never get off this stack. energy is very clean, no hunger, jitters, and I don't even need a pre w/o like jacked. just my .02 :)
 
Hey thanks for your input r6. I think I'll go ahead and order some DermaTherm Target. I think the worst thing that can happen is the only thing it thins out is my wallet. lol Supplements are way cheaper than Jeep parts, so I look at it like I'm actually saving money by spending time over here.

Day 8: Once again everything seems to be moving along well, my strength still seems to be going up which is nice. Well really I'm sure it's just coming back to me. The one thing I am noticing more than any other effect on this stack currently is that I feel really warm and seem to sweat even more than normal. This could be the result of a 272lb guy doing 30 mins of cardio after lifting, while wearing a sweatshirt of course, but it seems to be more of a 24/7 kind of thing as though my body is literally trying to burn off the fat from the inside out. Just took my second dose of AT2 and OEP and going to head out soon to lift.
 
No prob man, just sharin' my part of the side. I'm pretty much havin the same feelin that u have. strength went up for sure. Did bi's/tri's yesterday and my d-bell curls went 10lbs higher each arm. was really surprise my self. wasnt expecting to go up that quick in such short period. as for tri's wasn't big increase, 5lbs but was still good 'nuff for me. also feel warm throughout the day, and sweat like a fountain when lifting and doin cardio. stack oep/t-2/dermatherm and i think you'll see good results, + also thinkin off addin endo amp, it's just kind of xpensive so i'm lookin at either lean xtreme or supress c. :)

So you're seeing strength increase on a T-2 stack? Hm, I would not have expected that to be an effect. Interesting.

Maybe I'll see if someone from Primordial will chime in and give some input on the best timing for the dose. I decided to take it 1st thing upon waking with some Jack3d and some BC + EAA, prior to my first go round at the gym. The label says take with or without food 1 time daily, but maybe just after that first cardio session and prior to breakfast would be better? Either way I think the EndoAmp and the DermaTherm will compliment what seems like a really good stack so far. My carbs are right around 50 grams per day currently and I still have energy to spare throughout the day and in the past that just hasn't been the case, so I can only attribute that to the stack.

Not sure either if that's an effect that the stack should give but I just had the burst of energy feeling that I could lift heavier. Don't know if it's just placebo effect I'm feeling but I feel like I could lift for hours and don't get tired. it's really neat. :)

Finally decided and I will add lean xtreme as a cort control to the stack. as for dosin' endo amp some rep from PP will chime in to that. When I took lean xtreme b4 i dose it upon waking 15-20 mins b4 breakfast and another dose 4 hrs later.

how is it stackin it w/ a pre-wrkout? wanted to stack it w/ muscle marinade to see how it is but backed out to see how much energy the stack can give b4 addin anythin. might add it in couple weeks for really sick pumps. :)
 
End of Day 9: Well, only 9 days in and I'm really impressed with this stack so far. Considering how strict my diet is, I'm just not having any problems with a lack of energy. I know it's early and that may change the longer I go with so few carbs, in which case I may throw in a few higher carb days, but for now everything is coming along really well. I could also swear, just 9 days in that I'm looking a bit leaner. lol That's probably just in my head, but it's true. At day 30 I'll take new pics and assess my progress.

I weigh myself in every Sunday morning when I get up and will post whatever it is, good or bad. How it could be bad, I'm not quite sure though. lol So most likely as soon as I hop off the scale I'll report in and then head off to the gym.

Day 11: Geez, look at me skipping a day of rambling yesterday. Anyway, as promised here is this morning's weigh in:
264.6lbs

All I can say is that this stack continues to impress me. Normally, when I've put myself on a diet this strict the cravings for things like Coke and other junk really start kicking in around now, but the biggest problem I'm having on this stack is remembering to get in all my feedings. I've also noticed that despite a preworkout drink of Jack3d or Muscle Marinade, my strength which is still coming back to me, fades on me as I get deeper into my weights, so it works out well that I do two sessions a day for weights and cardio. The second workout is usually better since it's after I've had 3 whole meals and 2 shakes typically, but I seem to power through cardio without too much of a problem and I'm drenched in sweat by the time I finish.

Oh, I also haven't noticed some of the stim effects others have mentioned from the AT2, and I know Flawed and thebigt are both now going with 2 pills in the morning and 1 at night, but right now, unless someone from PES recommends I bump it up to two in the morning, I don't see the point yet, since the scale is still moving in the right direction at an accelerated rate and if it starts moving much faster I'm going to have to start eating even more. lol Off to the gym. It's accurate. I really feel like it's making a big difference even this early on. I have no doubt some of that is water, but it can't all be. I think the pics I take at day 30 should provide a good bit of contrast to the first one. And I'll confess, that first pic, as bad as it was, was the BEST looking one I could get. I really didn't want to put one up of me looking like a real fat a$$. lol I'll put up a less flattering first day shot around day 30 when I'm not quite so embarrassed. You can imagine though what it must have looked like when I wasn't flexing. lol With as pasty as I am and the consistency I could have easily been the Pillsbury Doughboy's stand in. I'm looking forward to tanning and getting some color back, but I figure I won't start until after the 30 day mark, so that I'm every bit as pasty as in the first few shots, so that extra color doesn't make me look better artificially.

Oh and I realize while I'm checking in pretty much daily, I haven't been listing exactly what exercises I do, or the reps. If anyone ever wants to know, I'm more than happy to write it down, but I just figured I go on and on as it is, I'd just keep this to a simple log of the products, how they feel, and generally just keeping up with how I take them daily. Same goes for food (it's pretty boring).

End of day 12: Well, everything is moving along really well, but I finally think the low carbs are starting to catch up to me, as I find I start out strong lifting, but my strength dips way down towards the end, but the 30 mins of cardio after that isn't much of a problem.

In terms of any sides, nothing especially bad, but I have notice my hands are kind of dry as are my lips. Probably more a function of all the cardio and the sweating, plus I haven't been drinking as much water as I should be, only about 96oz the last couple days. I've also missed a meal here and there, which under normal circumstances wouldn't be so bad, but the stack and my training are going so well I don't think I can really afford to miss 1 meal a day, for about the last 3 days and it's of course a solid food meal. I literally have just been forgetting to eat and then it's time to train, etc so I just skip it all together. I just haven't been that hungry, which is really odd considering how tight my diet is, so that can only be the stack. In the past, I have been able to cut weight fairly quickly, but I was eating every few hours, just to keep from cheating. Now, the hunger just isn't there, so I may set the alarm on my phone to remind me at lunch time, since that seems to be the meal I've missed most. Now, before I forget I'm going to go grill some chicken. lol

Log looks great so far. Really sexy looking stack. Definitely gonna run the OEP with the AT2 on my next cut (soon-ish). Looking forward to seeing your results.
 
Day 13: Stayed up way too late yesterday and as a result, today I was just really beat. I skipped my morning gym session, since I just didn't feel ready to kill it at the gym. Instead my girlfriend got off at 8am and we spent most of the morning catching up on some DVR'd shows I've been missing since I've been going to bed so early most nights. I followed that up with a 2 hour nap. lol Yeah it was a real tough Tuesday. Maybe it's the fact that it was rainy and grey today or my lack of carbs finally catching up to me, but it wasn't until the afternoon where I finally started to get some energy. I hit the gym around 5 and got in a good back workout. I never usually break it down, but here's what I did:
Seated Rows (cable machine with the stack that goes to 300lbs, I'm sure there's a more technical name, I just don't know it): 200lbs 15 reps to warm up, next set was 250 x 10, and finally 275 x 8
Then moved on to single arm dumbell rows: 85x15, 85x12, 85x10. It would have been nice if this Ballys had dumbells that went higher than 85lbs, but they suck and didn't.
Lat pull downs to the front: Hmm should have written down the weights, since now I can't quite recall them. 3 sets here first was 10 reps, then 8 and 7 the last about 3 or 4 plates shy of the stack I think (for whatever the hell that's worth without knowing how much weight).
Then I did 3 sets of and forgive my lack of knowing the technical term, standing bent over reverse flys. 40x12, 45x10, 50x8
I wanted to do bentover barbell rows, but I never seemed to time anything right and just gave up on getting my very own barbell and went over to do cardio, which is apparently what most people spend their time on at the Rockville Ballys and while waiting I played with a few more sets on several of the back machines. I do like the seated row and the lat pull down one on those as the movement is very smooth and is usually a pretty good way to finish everything off. The seated row I did the entire stack on the last set, 300lbs my ass. I think they mark the poundages higher on those machines to stroke some people's egos. lol Finally got a free elliptical machine, which was different than the model I normally use. This one has the moving poles that you grip. Either I was really exhausted or it was just harder than the machine I normally use, because getting through my 30 mins was actually tougher today.

That's all I got for the day, just steadily working away at getting back in decent shape.
 
Day 14: Exactly 2 weeks in now. Definitely feel like this stack is really making a difference in my diet. Last couple days I haven't felt as strong as I had been feeling, but I've got the sniffles and I think the restricted diet is finally starting to impact things a bit. Absolutely need to make sure I'm eating all the meals I'm supposed to, to make sure that most of what I'm losing is fat and water and not muscle. I can't quite recall a time in the past where I've had to go out of my way to make sure and eat more on a diet, so that can't be a bad thing.

I have noticed that it makes me sweat more- mostly I just feel hot all the time.
 
Day 16: Took a day off from posting, since I wasn't in the mood after finding out Peter Steele passed away. Still hit the gym though and instead of a random mix of songs it was all Type O.

Anyway, enough on that. Everything continues to move along really well. 6 more weeks left pretty much and I'm feeling really good about the stack and my diet and training. One thing to note, that based on everyone elses results makes me think it's clearly diet related. I've noticed a bit of shedding in my hair. It's fairly long, supple and Fabio-esque, which makes any type of shedding pretty obvious. lol I'm taking a decent enough multi both in the morning and in the evening, but since that may not be enough to counter my really restricted diet, I ordered some TOCO-8 from Primordial. Maybe due to my size I should up the vitamins a bit more too? Any suggestions on that front are welcome. I've got more than enough hair, so some extra shedding isn't really a problem, but I'd prefer to stop it, before I get a complex. lol

Oh and I had a few days where I wasn't feeling quite as strong as I had been, but since I've been trying to make sure I fit in all my meals, today in particular I felt strong again and am once again pleasantly surprised that any strength gains at all are possible while cutting.
