excellent! back to normal price. i need to get chocolate soon, so its nice to have the usual price around with a flat shipping rate.

i get what your saying, though its either raise the price of items or raise the price of shipping. its not tooo big a deal, and tacking items to the order doesnt effect the shipping costs so thats a positive. you guys know how much you need to make to stay in business, so its in best interest to keep your business running well.

thanks for speaking out and responding to all our emails, communication is a positive for your store. i will always do business here and give support when i can.

Im gonna try walking into GNC and see if theyll drop the price of a few items to what it was a couple weeks before :stooges:

But on a serious note, I understand your position and appreciate the manner in which you stated your response. We want constructive criticism, but other statements like "now I'm going to buy from your competitor" who also charge for shipping, is well...insulting. Especially in our forum and on a board that we financially support for users to enjoy at no charge.

Again, thank you for posting your response in a manner that is respectful and worthy of respect.

never meant any insults by the way, or said i would leave this store here. just said i would shop more at the competition when the price is right as the incentive is now gone.

if you were insulted i apologize, i only meant to express myself as a online consumer and i did finish off very nice and supportive post #52.

No more free, it's 5 bucks for standard flat rate in the US. Put in an order yesterday and confirmed.
 
I just have to add my 2 cents to this thread.
1. I am probably the most frugal (or cheapest) bastard out there. I do a lot of negotiations, sourcing, vendor management for a living. I love to get free shipping... but there is no such thing as free. You pay somehow.
2. NP guys have best prices most of the time (at least on what I buy). I used to ship a lot of stuff and I know what 5, 10, 20, 50lb boxes cost to ship. If the overall price is good, why bitch an moan at the guys. They need to make a living too.
3. There have been times where NP guys have surprised me personally with the service level. You can't get that out of BB or other stores.

It is $5.95 at the end of the day. For F:censored:K sake! No need to berate them. Skip buying crap that is all marketing hoopla and does nothing but colors your piss and you can channel that money to products that work and the "pesky" $5.95 shipping.

well as you know, I have been a solid customer, and I doubt I will go anywhere else because you guys are so cool.

And I have to understand your point of view. Last night a 24lb box arrived at my from door from you guys. That must have cost a lot of money to ship. 6 bucks is 6 bucks, but the speed, services, and sales (the package had 11 tubs of ASGT in it, you know the one you guys had on sale for 17 bucks), can't be found anywhere else. so your right, if it keeps the sales up, and the prices down. I'm all about it as well.

especially with these blitz sales... did I hear that you guys were putting anabolic pump on a blitz for just 30 dollars a pop? (wink wink):smirk:
 
This post is just idiotic. Bottom line is its a competitive business. Is NP the cheapest? Some products they are, some they are pretty far off. Just like going to two different grocery stores you will find different pricing on different items. At the end of the day, if you can find a better deal elsewhere, buy it. I buy from several online retailers and it comes down to pricing since they all provide good service. $5.95 while not the cheapest flat rate price is still very competitive. Many companies do only offer free shipping on orders of $200+. $75 was a very low price mark for free shipping. If you want to complain, find a better price and buy there. At the end of the day, you will end up at some point buying from NP because they will be the better pricing. To shop at only one location and not price shop is just ignorant. Competition drives prices down.

i usually picked up a extra bottle of myofusion to hit past that mark perfectly, but i can get them at a cheaper price at gnc now with my gold card and no shipping costs and yes it is cheaper there on top of it. just an example on how the consumer thinks. you want to know what the consumer thinks right? speaking of myofusion i just checked and wow, you guys just rose the price up to $41.99 now here and now the added shipping costs, wow. they are at one of your competetors (PS) right now at $38.95 with the same $5.95 flat rate shipping, so dont tell me i cant find deals. and yes they have a 800# as well, and respond to all their calls.

other than that, i have nothing but good stuff to say about the store here and recommend it to everybody, not only on the web but friends of mine at the gym and will continue to do so.

no worries im not boycotting the site, lol im just saying, for your best interest this may effect your sales here.

im sure if it did, you guys would see it and go back to what it used to be anyways, but $5.95 flat is fair anyways, and i still support nutraplanet. just that we all have to look out for our money these days over total loyalty.

Please don't take my statement so personal. It was not concentrated on you, but just the overall concern you pointed out, in which many people have now brought up. I never stated or even hinted that you were a "unintelligent shopper". And trust me, I DO appreciate you, your concerns, and your business! It was merely intended to point out that everyone charges shipping, as to be honest, it cost us a fortune to even offer this extra incentive; we just could not afford to offer both free shipping and continue offering rock-bottom pricing and frequent blowout sales, working off of extremely low margins.

Do you honestly think we were excited to have to make this decision? Obviously NO. Though, I did want to point out these facts, in order to show that we are still offering a better shipping rate than most. I know a lot of customers must feel "punished", but I ensure everyone that "The Planet" will NEVER stop evolving into the ultimate one-stop shop, finding every way possible and pulling every string, in order offer the best overall service possible. But, if we didn't raise the shipping cost to a more stable, but fair price, we would have to raise product prices, stop offering extra incentives (T-Shirts, shaker, etc), never run blowout sales, never split ship an order free of cost, fire half of our extensive CS department, and stock as little inventory as possible, leading to constant out of stock issues.

Again, I am not directing my attention to you or trying to sound reactive to your concerns, but I do hope that everyone who feels "punished" by this change can understand that this is the LAST thing that we want to portray. In fact, if we didn't make this change, everyone would certainly feel much more "punished" in the long run.

Thanks for your understanding and business, as everyone on this Planet, is like family to us!
 
i dont mind paying shipping at all, the $75.00 thing was nice because all my orders are atleast 80 for staples.. but yeah its no big deal..

no worries bud, that was a older post. i calmed down and am fully supportive the change. you guys do good, have good prices and run ALOT of promotions, i looked at the big picture and overall $5.95 no matter what the size order is more than fair. it was either that or raise the price of the items, in the end the shipping has to get paid for, free shipping is usually just marketing and is made up in the product price.

this company is my top store, and will remain that way due to the good overall value, and especially top notch customer service.

the way i look at it now, when i order i can add as much as i want without worrying about additional shipping costs.

Great, I am glad to see your understanding and very much appreciate it! Exactly, this was the overall picture that we wanted to point out and felt that many were overlooking. In the long run, this will help us offer more extensive sales and more competitive pricing. Plus, this will also pan out better for the people who are interested in RTDS and products alike in weight, which weigh a TON, but without having to hit the $75 mark, just so they don't get robbed by the shipping cost.

Overall, after hours and hours of debating and brainstorming, this was definitely the best overall decision that we could make as a company, in order to best service our customers in the overall realm of things.
 
Just want to say WOW! received my ASGT order today and you guys loaded my box with goodies, i wanted to cry lol. Thanks nutra!
 
I see shipping to Canada has dropped about $2. Can we work on this next? $17 to ship 1 bottle of Divanex, lets say, is obscene...

I have to say I am really amazed at how much the cost to ship via UPS, Fed Ex and even the USPS has been going up. No kidding just shipped a single bottle of capsules via UPS to WA and it was $11.95

usps first class mail will cost less than $3.00 with tracking for a bottle of pills.
 
I found a way to get free shipping!! Ordered a couple tubs of protein for some guys at work and split the shipping between them so now its free for me. :D
 
Unfortunately they have delivery confirmation but no tracking.
 
Geeezz...just skip the weekly Grande Mocha, give up fast food, or eat out less.
$5.95 is very reasonable and no reason to keep whinning about it..:arg:

damn. This just means I'll probably be buying more from other online supplement sites. This was my favorite thing about NP.
