thx man, I'm working on it..feeling realllly good right about now. :)

I mentioned earlier in this thread that I was planning to run iSatori ISA-TEST, and you may have noticed I have not brought this in..this is because I am waiting for a surprise addition to the stack and will be arriving very soon (the 29th).. :shhh:
ISA-TEST has been put on the shelf for now.

Awesome Pics Snags! How friggin big are your arms man. We are close to the same weight and your arms look like they are a good inch bigger than mine. What are they about 18?

killa chest & bi session this morning!
I'm feeling like SuperSnags again! :D

won't detail, just suffice it to say it was good times. :yup:

what I will touch on real quick, is my peri-workout nutrition, as I've had some questions on this from ppl.

preWO meal (also breakfast) 90 min prior, usually loaded w/ Pslin.
30min preWO: 3 PowerFULL, 3 Prime, 2 SuperCissusRX, 1.5 scoops Jack3d, 1g l-carnitine
15min preWO, begin sipping BC+EAA drink (+ addtl 10g glutamine)

**I use a floating formula here, concurrent w/ food intake.
low food intake days get (.2 x bw) = total grams BCAA/EAA's, in my case I use 40g on these days.
medium intake days get (.15 x bw), or 30g
high intake days get (.10 x bw), or 20g

I use the same timing for consumption irregardless of the amount consumed - that is, I'll drink 1/3 before I begin training 15min later; 1/3 by @ halfway point of w/o; and last 1/3 at completion of workout.

15min postWO, I pop an AP; eat 15min following that.

I really lean hard on BCAA's when in caloric deficit, or when diet is on point and trying to lose fat and harden up. when I am in a large caloric surplus (gain mode), I lose the BCAA's entirely.

mmmm..sitting here munching on a meal.
no pics, cuz I'm at work! :biglaugh:
but you can get a mental image of this tho..

6oz ground sirloin on toasted Ezekiel sesame bread
slice of 2% pepperjack cheese melted on
2 cups broccoli

Mine is 2 cans of Tuna with 1 cup of 1% cottage cheese with my own special hot pepper relish I made. I take about two dozen chilli peppers 2 medium size onions and dice them in the food processor, then I add balsamic vineager to taste and about 4 or 5 tablespoons of Olive oil. This great for adding flavour to my meals. I have done it with sweet peppers and I will just add hot chilli sauce to spice it up. It's really handy and one batch lasts for around 8 days.

Hey snag I am starting to add alot for grapefruit to my diet and see if it helps lean me out. I was wondering how you said to use it and was it more for losing fat or just losing excess water? I have alot of them and have been eating 2-3 a day.

^^^ exactly. when I'm eating big calories, I don't need the BCAA's within the training to sustain the muscle. besides, in my view of 'it is good to cycle everything', this is the perfect time (bulking, excess cals) to lay off the BCAA's.
if you still want to do aminos for muscle-building purposes, switch over to full-spectrum aminos, it'll be a much better bang for your buck.

yeah I use grapefruit as my sole fruit source sometimes, love it.
I think you are talking about my beef & grapefruit diet.
it's pretty simple. depending on your size, you'll eat either 5x or 6x this meal:

6-8oz sirloin or lean beef
1/2 grapefruit

this is for quick fat-loss, water too I guess, I get hard as nails after running it for a week.

Ok so nly half per meal huh? I have been eating one whole one per meal. Should i only run that for a week?

By full spectrum you mean the ones that have all the aminos on just the maibn three?

7-10 days, but I get bored after a week.

yeah full spectrum meaning all the aminos, not just BCAA/EAA..Beverly International Mass is a good one, a true casein base.

short on time today, as I found out last night (unexpectedly) I had to work this morning..sleep was feeling too good, so pushed it to the limit. :D
legs became a 5-set superset of squats/leg curls.
tacked on some standing calf raises at the end.
really good pump for what I did, pace was brisk, in and out.
forced off day tomorrow, didn't want to be off 2 straight days. :p

Whew!! I just speed-read through the last 3 pages to catch up on all the excitement going down in this thingy. Lots happening in here.
I like the layout of the new routine there Snag-Beast!! Looks very intense. :sgrin:The way I like it.
And you said no more pics of yourself or food 3 pages back. :toofunny:
Vanity be thy name. ha ha If I had a physique like yours, I would post pics every single day!!

Rock on Super-Snags!!!:head:

and you know this, my brother in iron! :yup:

got a little change in the schedule last night, won't be going to work till this afternoon (instead of bright & early), so gonna get a training session in after all! shoulders/tris/abs are looming..
working tomorrow as well, but I'm planning on inserting another leg session in the morning, make up for the short leg day FRI..mix will consist of SLDL, lunges/leg extension ss, and some calf work..may throw a few OH squats in as well, haven't tried them for awhile and I'm kinda getting the itch.

killer boulder (I mean shoulder) session this morning, in more ways than one.. :nervous:
in my tri-set where I finish w/ DB shrugs, I was hitting the shrug movement from various angles and brought the DB angled in front of me..caught my dude down there in the crossfire and pinched him right on the melon, drew a lil blood.. :eek5:
I hope it heals down there as quick as my other head does! :shhh:

Small worries......I jest...I jest. ha ha :jester:

:nutkick:

oh you're in nice form today TG.. :nono:

I tell ya, it wasn't all that bad when it happened. I knew I got it good and all, but I slapped some Neosporin on it and rolled on, numb to the pain and Jack3d to the gills.
when I got in the shower afterwards tho..holy hell man.
as soon as that water hit it, it was like this  .. then this :aargh: .. and then this

ahh, the memories we build. :squint:

Might keep you from rubbing one off for a few days......maybe.

See what I'm talking about. You guys always obsessing with your weiners. LOL

pfffffft ahahaaa..yeah it's me & the wife's date night tonight too. :ntome:

Uh-Oh!!! Time to go with the oral majority bro. At least she'll have the fun.

well on the supp front, got my USP package in yesterday, and inserted my new addition along with the final meal..had one serving with breakfast today, and will have my second with dinner here in a bit.
what is it? hmmmm..
guess I gotta keep it under wraps for a few more days. :biglaugh:

mismanaged my time again this morning, but still made sure to fit my planned 2nd leg day of the week in. :yup:
warmed up with a couple OH squats (kept it light - oooooo, forgot how tough these were!), moved to lunges (3 sets), then BB SLDL ss w/ leg extension (3 sets), finished with some calf work (got the wife on my back for some donkey raises today) :D.
was a good companion session to the leg workout FRI, I'm pretty pleased. :approve:

my signature meal these days..
used a bit different recipe tho: pan-fried 16oz of shrimp w/ 2 egg whites in .5 TBS EVCO (mmmm was that good by itself!) and seperately made 2 cups broccoli stir-fry in 1 TBS EVOO, threw it all together at the end and stir-fried for 1min.
good stuff..gonna have to make more of this pan-fried shrimp in EVCO tho, ooooooo. :D

lotsa good carbs (black beans/oats/sweet potato) on tap.

great workout this morning, back is just flaring! picking up the pace a bit, ran with 75sec rests on back work, 45sec on abs.

I'm on the downside of the day, where my meals get progressively smaller..but this meal is just too good not to snap a pic of (prolly got 3-4 just like it somewheres in this thread!) :D

5oz sirloin
1 cup black beans
2 cups broccoli

this is the lowest amount of carbs I've had in a meal today..only 2 more feedings left to go and my hi-carb day concludes.. :(

30min on the treadmill this morning, utilizing FTP (Fasted Training Protocol, for the uninitiated). :D
5min warm-up/cool-down
10min steady-state
10min HIIT intervals

weight was at 195.9 this morning, down from 196.9 yesterday morning..after my hi-consumption day yesterday. not that I'm worrying on this, as I really don't pay attention to weight fluctuations as there are so many variables that can affect that..but I post this for informational purposes, and am really quite surprised as well.
maybe the OEP/RC combo is kicking in pretty strong?

Damn it, I hope my recreate is here today!

Your food pic has reminded me to break out some frejoles negroes (black beans) to go with my own steak today! Yum-Yum, gonna get me some.

I sometimes don't understand the weight fluctuations either. :dunno:You weigh less after a day of carbing up and then weigh more after 2 days of low carbing. The body is somewhat of a mystery. I don't sweat what the scale tells me anyway. Now the mirror.......it never lies!!!

ahh, glad to help out there Thunder..yeah the frejoles are da bomb! (cracks me up to see that printed on the label too, lol).

exactly! :yup:
worrying about weight just increases cortisol. :nono:
not important to me, so long as I'm stroking my vanity (as some ppl would call it) and looking good. :stick:

:D

The scale is just a way of verifying what you see... doesn't always make sense though....

I think this is a over looked aspect of weight loss. Worrying=cortisol so no worrying=less fat

Man i have been gone too long... and it was only a few days... LOL Good stuff in here as usual. Looking good, leaning up nicely. I am going to be doing something similiar to your goal now Snags. Had to ixnay the May contest, I have screwed my knee up a bit and it is going to require a good month of down time before I can safely push it again. Pushed my show back to July, and just when everything on my body was coming together. Oh well imagine how much better I will be in May with a few more months muscle as well as scuplting going on.

Are you fuggin holding out on us!! Ah I am thinking TNA...

bingo! :439:

guess I can come out and be public with the new addition now..dosing this twice daily, 3 caps each with breakfast and dinner. this is my first time doing TNA.
I am already feeling it kick in. :)
