OH NO! Is Kleen having an allergic reaction? No he is just getting SWOLE! A sponsored

Thanks Guys, it is really hard for me to let the abs smooth over at all and to keep panic away at the weight gain. The pictures help me and your feedback helps to reassure me that I am gaining muscle and not becoming a tubby again. ;) Thanks for the compliments on my size, I feel thick. I know my legs are bigger for sure. Shoulder caps as well. Chest is fuller and arms are looking good for as little as I have done direct work on them.

Along with confidence from the feedback, Cals are staying high for the remainder of the run.

I will adopt a DC style eating strategy while doing my DC as well. Lots of cals and using carb cut offs. According to them the way I will want to eat is pretty close to what I am now. Carbs in the morning, and postworkout but my carb cut offs will be earlier in the day. They recommend 6:00 PM but I think nothing after 4rth meal which is always between 2:00 and 4:00. I love that they want you to work with nutrition the way it works best with you. Over the past few years I have really come to understand my body and how it responds to food so not having to completely change the game is great.

its pretty easy to let the abs smooth over when you've never had em! I don't think mine exist... they are simply a myth

HaHa, I finally got abs last year after years and years of training. Now I have been fighting with loose skin from being big before. So I was really trying to stay lean year round for a couple years to see if some of the skin would tighten back up. The loose skin drives me nuts because it smoothes over my abs. However I think I can stick around this bodyfat level and put on some good mass without stretching the skin so as long as my waist stays relatively small I am ok to work on both goals. But year I am also weary of going back up to 20%+ which was my home for MANY years, I was just thick and muscled but not "muscular".

lookin monsterous, kleen! from those pics i'd definitely not guess that you were under 220.

Thanks! I actually have a pretty small frame as far as my bones and joints go. Only bones I have that are normal sized or larger is my barrell chest. Knees, Wrists, hips are all narrow. Even my fingers are not that big around except for the meaty muscle parts. My knees are smaller than a lot of womens and my wrists are only 7 inches around. LOL

I think the small bones and joints lowers my bodyweight substancially from that of an average males. Meaning I am probably carrying 5-10 lbs more muscle than an average guy at my size and weight. Of course I could be completely wrong.

It also makes your muscles look larger on your frame.

I don't think I see any fat gain but it's hard to tell with the blurry pics, anywho if there is it's very little.

I've heard of creams and lotions that help tighten up loose skin.....i just cant remember what they are called....

Yeah I think that was what I was trying to say but it just didn't come out quite right. LOL

Funny on the phone the pics looked fine but looked like crap once transferred to the computer. Definitely minimal fat gain for sure. I will get someone to take pics of me this weekend when I wrap the log up. Make sure they are better quality so I can show just how SWOLE I have become! :D

I hear the Canadian version of Preparation H works well for shorter periods like for a show. THen there is thiomucase which is what the pros use, but it is actually illegal for that use on humans. Can only be bought in US for "lab use" However, it is also a temporary fix. Only real fix is time and vitamin E oil. Maybe some of the new Mothers Milk products for pregnancy that improve elasticity. Honestly for a show as lean as i got the skin issues was completely secondary. However for tooling around between 6-9% all year it is frustrating because of how it looks. I pretty much have to be under 6% to have the tight as a drum look. Especially with the fat I carry under my pecs and nipple areas. I will just have to build a bigger chest and back to fill it all in. ;)

I like this solution:yup:

That's the best damn solution i've ever heard....Keep smashing those weights and those spaces will fill in!

very interested to see how you adapt to the DC. Agreed, you are pretty much there now. Big question is, how will your joints hold up? Let us know when you get your new thread started. Great times bro!!

I honestly think the extra recovery time will be benefit me. I was hitting a higher weekly volume, same type of intensity, and more workouts per body part before so this should be welcome change for my joints and tendons.

My 50yr old joints are hanging in there with it. I think you will find it a nice change Kleen.

Day 27 - Legs still shaking...

I will tell you what, this has been a fun ride. I have put on some muscle mass and built up a good amount of strength. Teaching myself to clean bulk and I am liking it. We are almost at the end of this run then it is on to an Asteroid Stack and a Blast of DC training. I hope to continue along the same path and add more muscle trhoughout the end of the year and depending on my composition maybe all the way through January, still allowing me an 16-18 week prep. Assuming I am within my target composition the first part of my prep may be just a recomp/slight cut, then pick up the pace a little later in the prep. We will see how things workout.

I will probably start my doses of Asteroid stack tomorrow to get a little bit of it starting in my system before the effects of the SWOLE Stack start to taper hopefully that will segway right into more lean mass. Enough about that let's get into the workout I just crushed.

Reps were done DC style regarding rep speed, explosive contraction and then a slower more controlled lowering of the weight.

Flat BB Bench - 135x15, 225x10, 245x6>185x7>135x10 Strength is really down on this from not doing it heavy in a while. A little retraining and I should be back up to some heavier weight or more reps.

Hammer Strength Isolateral Dorian Rows - 90x15, 135x6, 135x6>90x10>45x10 the last drop was done alternating sides while holding "non working hand" in back position flexing lat whole time instead of lowering it and doing other side.

Hammer Strength Isolateral Shoulder Press - 90x15, 135x4>115x3, 125x8>115x3>90x10

Overhead cable Triceps extension machine - 80x12, 70x15, 70x10>50x8>30x7

Icaarian Leg Press - 10 plates x15, 12plates x12, 16 plates x 10, 20 plates x 6>18p x3>16p x6>12p x8>8px12 All of these reps were very deep, knees to ears deep. I felt the fibers deep with in my thigh working that I have not felt in a while by going to the 20 plates. Felt great. Foot position was shoulder width and placement was lower middle of the platform to really hit quads.

Donkey Calf raise machine single legged - 4 plates x15 2 sets.

Interesting note, I woke up this morning and could just feel that my legs were bigger. They are touching more on the inside along the groin muscle. Also when I went to shower my legs were still so pumped I had a spider web of veins going through my thighs from the inside going up and spreading over my quads. Was pretty damn cool! Like I said i carry NO FAT on my legs so that is pretty cool and the extra size is noticeable to me.

You did a awesome job bro. I wish you the best with the Asteriod Stack and your future with USPLabs(they are a great company). But do not think for a minute that I will not hunt you down if we need a new product tested.:)

Excellent! I will be putting up a review in the same format as the TestoPro log as well as some good quality pics probably Saturday maybe Sunday, my little sister will be in from Florida tomorrow through Sunday morning so I am not sure if I will get to update or take pics Saturday. We will see, maybe she can be the photographer. LOL

Will do!

Nice workout man, can't wait to see what the asteroid stack does for you!

This will be the first one where my main goal is mass. I have cut with it, I have recomped with it botth very successfully... So this one will be my lean bulk with it. I made some good progress with the SWOLE Stack so I want to keep it moving along.

Man you are going to love the longer prep! YOu will probably be sitting around 4.5-5% with almost a month out and just tweeking and coasting in. That is the way to go. After seeing how quickly I leaned up last time I am expecting some big things this time around.

Very nice bro.:)

Great job!

Thank you for such detail.

The SWOLE Stack Final Review

Beginning weight:192
End weight:199.75
Beginning body fat % (approx.): 6.9% 181 LBM
Ending body fat % (approx.): 7.5% 185 LBM
LBM Gain 4 lbs 1 month with minimal fat gain. Very nice from a natty test booster.

A general description of your training and diet protocol: Full body workouts, 2 worksets per exercise 2nd one is a double drop set. 1 exercise per body part. Very limited cardio 1-2 times a week on average with some casual paced strolls at lunch.

Any effects on mood:Very Alpha Male, at first the temper flaired up qhuite a bit as my body got used to the higher testoserone levels. After the first week I was able to manage it without any issue but the first week it caught me off gaurd a few timess. Otherwise I felt very positve and upbeat and always felt like I was a leader or commanded attnetion when I entered a room.

Any effects on libido: Sex drive is always high for me but there were time on this that I found myself extremely ready for something to happen if you know what I mean.

Any effects on strength:I was working around some issus with tendonitis and what not but was able to really ush through. I hit a lot of good numbers and was impressed overall with the strength gains I made.

Any effects on endurance: Endurance during training was never an issue. I felt strong all the way though, and went at the weights with a ferocity.

Miscellaneous comments:All in all I really enjoyed the stack. I think doing this stack for 2 months would really let it shine but come on 8 lbs in 4 weeks... Very nice! Completely impressed with the stack. Alos the entire time I ran this my skin was oilier than normal and I had some issues with mpimples here and there that I do not have very often. Definite proof of higher testosterone levels. On top of that body hair grew in so quickly it was ridiculous. A trimmed up 2 weeks ago and I look like I have a month worth of hair growth on my in my final pics which are included below.

Overall product rating (1-10 scale): I think as far as a Test Boosting Stack this stuff is tops.

Other notes of interest: When I started this my legs were clocking in at 24.5 inches and measured a solid 25 Saturday morning.

Back is obviously much thicker. There is just a lot of meat there.

Oops, relaxed the abs here LOL. Was trying to show a little bit of the seperation in my legs. Like I said they stay very lean.

This pic displays a little more of the thickness I developed in the pecs. Man I need better lighting and a shave. LOL

Here you can actually see that the abs are there and deep enough to fold the loose skin into creases. IO really wish I had shaved because my chest really looks big right now. Very deep and striated center.

As you can see for 8 lbs gained I look pretty good. lots of hair in this picture but not much additional fat.

Remember folks this is 4 lbs lean mass from a guy who is at the top of his game where gains don't come easy. It's not newbie gains or muscle memory, it's hard to come by.

185 lbm is outstanding for 5' 8", mines around 205-210 but I am almost 6 feet so who's the big fugger!!

Outstanding final review. You look like a beast bro great work.
Thanks Brother!

HaHa, I guess we both are kinda big fuggers....

Yeah DW is right about one thing. I am an advanced trainer with no recent time off from the gym. No muscle memory being advantageously put to use. No beginner gains. I have worked out for 20 years and for me to gain 4 lbs of LBM in a month is very impressive. Considering to diet down I may lose 1 lb of that tops with how I know my body and it's response to food. It would be impressive on someone with only a few years under their belt but for me being an ol dawg in the lifting game it is damn impressive!!!

Thanks Brother!

Awesome final review man!

Great log man!! Sorry that I don't have as much time as I would like to browse through it all, or comment more, but it's always a pleasure when I have a few minutes to check out your logs. Solid work and results man!!

You both are beasts!!!!!

Thanks, now the trick is to remain that way as I lean out. Kleen has already achieved that. I will be relying heavily on this stack as it will kick off the first 8 weeks of my prep. Maintaining mass while you lose fat is more than half the battle and gets more difficult the lower you go. Being under 8% and gaining mass is hard to do.

The world of supplementation has really changed that a lot. I kept thinking I was going to have to really let myself go to gain more muscle. Then the Asteroid Stack showed me what it could do recomp wise. Now I have this stack I can use to bridge between my Asteroid Stacks. On the SWOLE Stack you saw both a nice recomp effect in the begining and then when a surplus of calories were applied you saw it accell in the mass gain area as well.

I do know I am imposing a 205 limit on my weight gain. I can gradually become leaner and leaner at that weight but I don't want to be much bigger than that at my height. I think the aesthetics start to drop off after a certian size for each persons frame. I beleive that will probably be mine. Although if that is the goal I wanna end up doing it at 6%. :) Not at the end of this particular run. Just a long term goal.

Yah supps have changed things for me as well, and I've seen you do it a low body fat levels. I can't say what will happen to me when I get low but I am encouraged by what I have experienced and seen.

My plan is to not go too crazy with calorie reduction at first see how much I can recomp down to, but monitor very closely what I eat. As a matter of fact I have already set up what I can going to eat on January 2nd and 3rd, and will continue to plan way ahead. I'll start with a macro cycle 2000-2200 cals on low days (which will be only 2 days to start). 4 days at around 2400-2500 calories then 1 day close to 3000. The macro balance on the medium days is 40/30/30 but fish oil is a good percentage of the fat. Haven't worked the rest out yet. Phase 2 will be simply to change one medium day to a low day.

Great log bro!
Thanks Bro!
Supps with a proper diet and training can really help you achive your goals.

Yeah and if the nutrition ain't there even with supps the results wont be. I mean you can build if eating like a pig but you want to gain lean musclemass you have to pay attention to details 80-85% of the time and have a 15-20% of the time you can kinda loosen up. Enjoy life without guilt but never flirting with gluttony. Good supps just add fuel to the fire, building blocks to the construction already in progress.
