I imagine you to be a strong person with a caring, giving instinct. I hope that your strength has people returning the favors you indoubtably have given. Sometimes we get so used to people being independant we miss the chance to help when they are dependant.
My family is always proud of me and im the go to guy when there is a problem. It seems sometimes people forget we are human and we also need someone to go to.
I think such a person as your self with always be taken care of if not always in person, but always thought well of.

Thank you so much. I hate to whine, but I'm still having a lot of pain. Demerol is my friend these days. And I just realized that I'm running a low grade temp. The surgery went well, but I still have a lot more pain than anticipated. It makes me appreciate my otherwise perfect health that much more. I am humbled and most thankful for your prayers.

You may have some infection as your body will raise your temperature to fight infection more efficiently. Try to eat lots of dark leafy greens and raw fruit and water bearing vegetables as this will strengthen your immune system. Also make sure you stay regular on pain killers with some psyllium husk to keep you strong and healing well. god bless.

I hear ya on the "Regular" part. Back when I ripped up my leg, I took just one pill, one, of oxycodone or whatever kinda oxy pill it was and it put the stops on me for like 4 days. Never really take pain killers, but I thought "Just this once..." Anyways, still sending the prayers up for ya keeper, all the best!!

I'm putting a special prayer request here for our good friend dedlifter1 who's expecting a baby today! (8/11/09). Let's all pray and wish all goes well for the mother and the baby.
This is a special day for him, he's expecting his first baby! He'll will not be on here for awhile but lets keep him in our thoughts and prayers!

thank you all so much!! At 11:10 am yesterday morning, GOD blessed us with a baby girl, Lilly Temperance Vincenzo. I cannot express my happiness in words. The song Awesome GOD comes to mind..... I just wanted to stop in and thank all you guys for your support, I have truley been blessed to meet such awesome people.

in need of a prayer request yet again.. i've not made it known, but I've been training for a strongman competition on August 29th, and there is less than 2 weeks to go. Everything has been going great up until Friday when I pulled something in my lower back doing deadlifts. I was out of commission all weekend, laying in bed, and am back to work now, but am far from being able to lift, let alone compete. I am visiting my massage therapist today to see if she can work something out of my back to get me back into the gym, but was going to see if I can get some extra prayers to speed along the recovery.

Ouch, tat. I'll sure be on it. Guys, I've been doing something cool with special prayer needs like this. Don't laugh, but I "pulse" prayer. Every hour on the hour, I get alone for a few minutes and lift only those special needs to the Lord. It feels good and thankfully God likes our diligence.
Let's also remember those moving their kids off to college, such as our bud Bucknuts. It's bittersweet and tugs at the heart.
Thank you BeBig, I'm great now. Back doing lower body and ab work. I'm still off upper body for another 3 weeks. It was an elective procedure and at first I regretted having it done, but not now. I said I'm usually tougher than the av-er-age bear, but not this time!

I like the idea actually.
At any rate, I GOT A JOB!
A temp agency came through, and gave me a job right in my town, only 9 an hour, but a full 40 working 8:30-5 M-F. God definitely came through for me, now for me to try and catch things up and rebuild my life! And I know an even better job will come, and eventually I will graduate college, and its just one cycle of increasing blessings.

if I even want to have somewhat of a life back, I need to work 2 jobs for 2 years to be free. And squeeze in college so I can get my associates and begin my 2 year bachelors so I can finally be a teacher.
then maybe I can graduate from the school of hardnocks lol.

I and others will stand with you and cover you. Gladly. We all go though "classes" throughout life. It's wisdom that helps us recognize the opportunities to learn in the classes. The greatest times of growth in my intimacy with God have been during the deepest valleys of my life. Those times when I was so empty, there was not even a prayer to voice within me were the very times the Father came and ministered so personally to me. Just let go and allow Him work in you, bud.

I got my second dui. Honestly though I have just been talking to a good friend of mine and I think it is the best thing that could have happened to me as bad as that sounds. I am so motivated now to do what is right and not just try to fit into things that I know i won't benefit from and will only bring me pain. This is the first week of the rest of my life. If i am positive only positive things can happen. If I let it get me down thats all it will do is bring me down! Thanks for everyones support. I will keep you all in my prayers!

I know a little something about that kind of trouble. That motivated feeling you have will soon pass, because there is a consequense behind it. When the consequense has been alleviated, so will the determination to some degree. Seek out GOD, because only he can releive you of your ailments, and it will be everlasting, as long as you strive to keep it. There are certain STEPS you may want to look into, they lead directly to GOD.

Hey man you sound like a negative nancy over her. I am seeking god and I will trust in him to help me through this. That doesn't mean i can't keep my head high. so don't try and bring me down. Just cause you got lowered doesn't mean i will . I know there will be ups and downs , but i like to think that I will try my best to look at this as a learning experience. i know this was gods hand and he has been talking to me for a while to straighten up. I am just kinda hard headed at times.

My wife's 84 year old grand mother, who never complains about anything, had a kidney infection. She told no one and it has gotten to the point that she is in the hospital with this infection in her bloodstream. She's been in 2 weeks and they almost lost her twice. Her BP at one point was 70/23.
