If you call 4 1.5''x1.5'' pieces of pineapple a quantity source of carbs, then yes. I have 4 small pieces with my whey protein shake. I have carbs a couple hours later around 9ish with my eggs and then my afternoon meal with some diced up baked potatoe around 1. Afternoon application is at 3. The carb thing did cross my mind too, but what I eat that early in the morning really is negligible.
