Tyler4's First Log **P-Plex+Epi+DC=Mass!**

Yea, I may order some SFL here soon.

The motivation just isnt there today but I will still go through with the B3 workout in about and hour and a half.

On a good note, my weight is up to 180 (+5) so far. But I feel like there is some water with that becasue I lost a slight bit of ab definition.

Looking forward to some golf in the morning :)
 
Dont worry bro Epi will lean ya out while adding size. Keep rocking that ish! 5lbs is baller! :head:
 
lol, I was gonna run down the road real quick to the supp store and grab some SFL, but they are individually owned and dont carry Axis Labs. Oh well, I'll order it from NP. It's just next day to me anyway.

I'll update on my w/o later on. But it went well overall. Nice bi pump going which usually never happens.

I'm doing some interesting research on how glucose feeds cancer cells.It's quite interesting. I'm watching The Watchmen at the same time.

I usually have my cheat meals on Friday but today's was a crappy one. Just a couple of hamburgers :(

This was the last workout of my first round of DC. So far, I love it. I am DOMSy everyday so I can't say it doesnt work you.

I dont have my log book on me but here are the exercises.

Preacher Curl

Bi Stretch

Rev Grip Preacher Curl

Bi Stretch

Calf Raise

DB Lunges

Stretch

Hack Squats. I really need to practice my form on these.

Quad Stretch

Felt good but I am really looking forward to next week :)

Sides/Thoughts
-Slight Headache today
-No sides other than that. Mood still good but I'm not noticing any "euphoric" effects that some report with Epi.
-I feel that I have put on some fat/water around my abs which I am not happy with. Maybe I introduced carbs back into my diet too quickly. Either way, I dont like it but I may introduce some cardio next week if it doesnt change any.
-I may introduce P-Plex a day or two early.

-Went to the driving range yesterday and I am def hitting the ball further! :) Can' complain there.

-Going golfing in the morning with Derek (his gf is the one with cancer). Looking forward to it. He has had a rough few days.
 
BB hacks can really shape out your quads if you really get the exercise down. Def lower the weight if you have to get form down then slowly add weight.
 
Day 12/13

Weight: 180 (+5)
Epi Dosage: 20mg/20mg
P-Plex Dosage: 10mg/10mg

As you can see, I went ahead and started the PP @ 10mg. I can definitley tell a difference in my mood after I take it in the morning. It's hard to explain but I like it so far. I've noticed a few other people saying the same thing about PP so..

Diet has been good this weekend. I'm starting to really like the taste of the Dymatize 12hr Chocolate :)

I ordered "DC's Protein Mix" from TP yesterday along with Wojo's DC DVD. I needed some extra whey at my house so I figured I'd give this a shot and I want to watch the DVD to learn some more on DC since I'm really liking it so far.

I finally found some Ezekial bread today. Seems like no one around me carried it so I went to a health food store a few minutes away and got 3 loafs. Cinnamon raison sounds yummy :)

I also got some more grass NY strip and GB. My dinner is always grass fed red meat but I usually get it from a local meat guy but this was from the health food store. I may use the ground beef for an afternoon snack or throw it in at lunch, who knows. I'm making some minor tweaks to my diet and will post it up soon. I need some more fats in there.

Oh, and I am soooo sick of cooking eggs in the morning. I know they are part of the "ideal" breakfast but I'm thinking of making a temporary change. Nothing long term, but just something to replace the eggs for a couple weeks while I get my "want to eat" them back. Ideas would be great.

Golfing went well yesterday. On hole #11, I hit my drive LITERALLY 2 feet from the hole. It was crazy, the hole was not too far @ 340 yards but I frikin missed my eagle put!!

Well it was a premium flavor so it comes sweetened but I added the protease enxyme complex/vit and min/electrolytes.
 
Nice! But I mean will you be throwing anything additional in? (oats, pb, EVOO, etc) Or just taking it as is?
 
Oh, well depends on when i take it. I would like to replace my eggs in the morning with a shake for a couple weeks.

If the shake is pre w/o-oats, milk. If post w/o-WMS and milk, maybe pb. If just taken as a snack, then PB or EVOO.
 
How you handle milk in your shakes? I get fat :(..its all water for me :dunno:
 
Well, that is an interesting question. I just started to add 1% milk in my shakes now that I'm bulking. And I have added some water/fat around my abs. But I cant decide weather to attribute that to the milk or not. Or if it's just the extra water from carbs. Carbs seem to slighlt bloat me, even though I keep them clean.

I'm still torn on milk though. I will only add it pre or post w/o. My pre bed protein is w/ water.
 
Its worth the experiment to see :dunno:. Milk bloated me like crazy and was a great bulker for me, to say the least haha.
 
Oh yea, forgot to mention that my SFL will be here tomorrow :)

I plan on moving my workouts to AM this week and will continue this for a long time. But, tomorrow will still be a afteroon w/o.

After a meal. My meal will either be eggs w/ oats or a shake w/ oats. I will update my diet when I get back from the grocery.
 
Revised Diet

Pre W/O: A) 3 Whole Eggs, 3 Egg Whites, 1 Cup oats, 1 Slice Ezekial Bread
B) Shake: DC Protein w/ 1% Milk, oats. 1 Slice Ezekial Bread

Intra: BCAA + ALCAR

Post W/O: DC Protein w/ 1% milk, WMS, maybe a Bannana.

Meal #3: 4 Oz. Grass Fed Ground Beef w/ 1/2 Cup Brown Rice.

Lunch: 6-7 Oz. Chicken Breast w/ 1/2 cup Brown Rice.

Meal # 5: Chicken Salad on WW wrap. 2 tbsp natty PB
B) DC Protein w/ PB.

Dinner: 2 8oz. GF Ribeyes w/ Spinach+Cucumber Salad. I cut a lot of the fatty parts off the ribeye, so they dont equal 8oz each. 1/3 Cup Almonds

Meal #7: 2 scoops Dyamatize 12hr w/ water. 2 tbsp natty PB

I'm still mulling this over so if anyone has any suggestions, let me know.
 
I think I'm personally going to be going back to fasted training.

Probably a good idea since fasted training seems to burn fat more efficiently. I might play around with it a little, but I'm pretty sure my strength would suffer if I trained fasted first thing in the morning.
 
One quick note: My vascularity is a little higher for sure, and I can def "feel" the P-Plex. Mood is elevated nicely.

Yeah I'm still digging the "fasted trainging". Not sure how much you can call it fasted now tho since I have been taking slingshot intra workout which has 20g carbs in it. :dunno:
 
I just made a couple tweaks to when I'm eating the fats. I dont want to combine them in the carb meals so I switched them to later in the day.
 
Can't update now since my wireless is down and I'm on my iPhone but I got 220 8/4/2 on bench press tonight. Decently happy about that.

I tweaked my back while doing bb rows though. I decided that's the only exercise that is bad for my back so I won't be doing those any longer. I just need to find a sub.

DC Workout A1

Workout went really wel until the end. BB rows are not for me. They put way to much indirect stress on my lower back injury so I need to find an alternate exercise. I'll be looking for one tomorrow but if anyone has a suggestion for another back width exercise, speak up. I'll try to remember the weights the best I can.

BB Bench Press: 220 8/4/2. Pretty happy with this. I'm up 15lbs from the last A1 w/o so thats good, I guess.

Chest Stretch with 35's for 90 sec. This is taking some time for me to progress on. I moved the weight down so I could go for 90 sec, but I still struggled to get there.

Military Shoulder Press w/ PT machine: 170 8/5/3. Up 10lbs from last week.
Shoulder Stretch

Tri Pulldown: Cant remember weight here. But I do remember it was tough and I should probably stay at this weight next time.
Tri Stretch.

Lat Pulldown: I messed up here. I accidentaly set the weight at the same as last time but didnt notice until I was done. It was a little too easy so I need to up it next w/o.

BB rows: Like I said, I need to find an alternate exercise here. Too much lower back/ciatic nerve pain that I can still feel while just sitting here.
Back Stretch.

Cycle Sides/Thoughts:

-3rd week now and I dont have any sides as of yet.
-P-Plex makes me feel great, especially after the morning dose. I dont even need any coffee :)
-Not feeling shut down at all.
-Muscle hardness still there.
-Sleeping like a baby.
-I'm keeping a close eye on my waist line now. I feel like its put on some water/fat but my abs are still visible so who knows.
-Appetite is growing fast. I started getting a little hypo today so to me, thats a good sign.
-I broke down and had some trail mix around 3:00 :(
-Vascularity is increasing. This is something I especially like since I am not naturally vascular AT ALL.

Today I added some SFL to my pre w/o. I have to say it def gave me the kick I needed but since this was my first w/o with PP, I'd say it might be a combo of both. SFL kicked in super fast for me. I may have to take it right before I w/o from now on. Taste is good also :)

Should be getting my TP DC protein this week as well as the Jason Wojo DVD, so I'm kinda stoked about that.

I figure, why wait till my post workout shake/meal to start getting carbs and aminos to my muscles? Why not provide my muscles what they need while im working out?

Then again, I have some buddies who can't even handle sipping water during a workout cause it upsets their stomachs... but to each their own right?

I either do it your way, or fasted. I have great workouts when I have a huge meal about 1hr pre-wo (and then fueling up with WMS/Dex/Malto/BC+EAA intra-wo), and I also do well fasted as long as I don't take any stims. Stims mess me up when I take them on empty in the morning...Caffeine is fine, but anything else I can't handle well. I prefer stuff like HGW, Rhodiola; basically performance enhancers rather than stimulants.
 
damn....I was traveling for a week during my last PCT, but it was only to Florida. Still a pain in the butt, espeically with keeping the clean cals up/workout schedule.

International travel, that will be interesting indeed. Do you know how long you are going for?
 
I usually go for around 1.5 weeks. The good thing is all the hotels have nice w/o facilities so my training wont have to suffer.

Damn bro getting hella strong! Weights are flying up! Sheesh 15lbs increase on bench! Niiice!

Some subs for bb rows for you could be: low iso rows, seated cable rows (id go for a wider grip), t bar rows (do these hurt?) db rows (do these hurt?)
 
Well, I have a feeling my bench will shoot up quicker than everyrthing else. In April I did just over 300 for my 1 rep max but have focused on a higher rep scheme for a while and I think I lost some overall poundage strength.

Nothing else hurts except BB rows. I'll ponder on those suggestions for a bit. What do you think about incline bench pulls w/db's or middle back shrugs. IIRC, midlle back shrugs felt like they worked my back well when I did them back in the day. Or I could do like a mixed grip pull up?

Well, I just got my blood results back from my pre cycle tests. I'm a little scared here. My total T was 396. Now that is somewhat low but w/o knowing exact #'s for free T and SHBG, I cant really say one way or another.

I didnt get the full labs results but will have them mailed to me on Monday. I guess I will have to wait unitl then before I get too worried. Until then, business as usual.


Good W/o today though. Not really feeling the AM right now so my weights didnt go up much. I felt kinda weak at firsy but it got better as the w/o went on.

Dont feel like listing all the exercises right now but I will later.

Me too, bro! I've been exhausted ever since ~3pm. I got real pissed off and worked up when I went out earlier, so I think that added to it...

I went to the bank and unknowingly left my wallet there. I went to the grocery store, spent about 30mins shopping, got to the checkout, and realized I didn't have my wallet. At this point, I just thought I left it in my truck, and when I didn't see it, I realized it was at the bank. I rushed to the bank, got my wallet, and went back to the store...all while talking like a sailor at the top of my lungs.

Well, I just got my blood results back from my pre cycle tests. I'm a little scared here. My total T was 396. Now that is somewhat low but w/o knowing exact #'s for free T and SHBG, I cant really say one way or another.

396, huh? Are you a woman?...Just kidding man. I'm probably like 53 or something. I have no clue. - Make sure you load up on goodies during PCT, and then get it tested about ~3wks after that. See where you sit.
 
See the thing is I got the bloodwork done before I started the cycle so it should be my baseline T levels. Thats what worries me. 396 (basically 400) isnt THAT low, but it's def not optimal (500). Especially for us who train. I would just like to be in that optimal range for obvious reasons.

And since I'm now on cycle, I cant get any more tests done for a while.

But, like I said, I need to see SHBG levels. If they are really low, then my total T might not be off by much. Since most of that would be free T (due to low SHBG levels)

I dont know. I guess I'm just kinda dissapointed. I've read on here where people go on TRT with levels around 300 :(

Usually, but I went to Wal-Mart today because their chicken is a pant-load cheaper, and you get way more. At Publix it's like $18 for ~2 days worth; Wal-Mart is $14 for ~3 days worth. :dunno:

If you can believe it or not, I saw an uber hot chick working at Wal-Mart. Can you believe it?! She was total Target material.
