So I'm going to pick up the cage on Saturday. I'm getting a heck of a deal on it so I couldnt pass it up. And he is throwing in an bar too. I'll try to get some pics up of everything next week.
 
Day 3

Just finished my second DC workout and my second day on Epi, but I'll go ahead and call this the 3rd day overall.

Workout: My workout was OK. This was my first day doing the B workout so I didnt have to much expectations. I was sorely dissapointed with my legs but I knew my legs were super weak coming into this. A 2 year layoff will do this (back) :( Anyways, here it is.

EZ Bar Curls: Final RP set was 75 8/8/5. I may need to up the weight here. IIRC, the bi's are supposed to be 15-20 RP.
Incline Hammer Curls: Final straight set was 35x12

Bi and Forearm Stretch


Seated Leg Curls on Cable Machine: Final RP Set was 9 10/5/5. I wil go for more reps next time with same weight.

Quad Stretch...Brutal!

Standing open toe calf raise on Powertech: Final SS was 210 lbs of weights at 18 reps. Need to up the weight a lot.

Smith Squats: Final ss of 5 reps was 255. Did a widow maker with 185 but just got 13 reps. This is something I need to work on obviously, and I will.

Ham Stretch: SLD's with like 65lbs. Just wanted to get a feel for this. I have never done SLD's.

Abs

Cycle Dosing:
Epi: 10mg @ 8:00 AM and 20mg @ 3:00 PM.


Thoughts or Sides:
Obviously, I have no sides from the Epi but I have experienced the muscle hardening effect. This is something I noticed from The One rather quickly also. I know it might not translate to anything but I have to say I like it :)

Other than that, nothing much else to report. I'm sure as the cycle progresses this part will be more detailed.
 
Damn bro those are your legs numbers coming off a 2 year break?!

Why did you take a 2 year break from legs? Sorry if you already answered this.
 
I should have explained better. I started legs again in March. But havent taken them as serious as I needed to be. But before March, there was a 2 year break because of my back.

Oh, and I'm not getting the power rack. Found out the weight limit was 300lbs and I really want something better quality. I will get one soon enough though.
 
Oh yea, E-911 is :bigeyes: Great energy today and it does hit fast. It diddnt last as long as I had hoped but i will give it another shot tomorrow or friday.

Or maybe it was because I was almost done dissolving it under my tongue and I grunted on my last bi curl and accidentally spit it halfway across the room! lol

Sides/Thoughts

Nothing to much to note here since it is still early. Started having the muscle hardness yesterday so I expect that to continue with the cycle.

My energy isnt as smooth than when I was on my CKD diet. I miss that kinda. I still dont even finish all my rice at lunch so I think my newfound carb outlook is staying with me. I plan on maybe upping the cals a little starting next week. I have put on 2 lbs but that's just water.



Legs are sore as crap today! I like :) But I still cant get any doms in my bi's.
 
In! looks good man. As you may know PP is a wet compound, but great nontheless. I would suggest running zol throuout or at the final few weeks to minimize the water retention/bloat. I had great experience with this personally.

I'm really interested in your DC training experiences and impressions, particularly in the first two weeks. I am in the middle of a large overhall on my training and am going to start DC shortly, considering all the good things I have read about it.

Thanks for subbing in! I plan on cutting my sodium intake down a little when I start P-Plex, but PP causes edema via inhibition of 11-beta hydroxylase. So most of the water retention will be intra cellular (in the muscle). So I'm not too worried about it.

I need to download some new/fresh workout music. I'm thinking maybe Rage Against the Machine (even though I hate their poitical BS). I'm usually an older school rap guy though.
 
Just finished my 3rd DC w/o but I'm about to go grab some food with me gf so I'll update later tonight or tomorrow morning.

Workout was so so because I'm still getting a baseline weight for my exercises. I found out I really really like rack chins :)
 
Been super busy this weekend so I will not be able to update until tomorrow. My gf is leaving for a mission trip to Africa in the morning so I will give an update on the third w/o and other stuff tomorrow sometime.

I was debating on starting P-Plex tomorrow but I think I may stick to the original plan.

On a side note, I am sooo sore today! It feels like I haven't worked out in months!

Boring? No way! I was nasty sore this weekend so to me, thats a good sign. My tri's were shot!

I will try to update later tonight. Work is a litte frantic right now, but I won't be missing any w/o's. Thats for sure. DC is really coming at a great time due to the 3 day split.

Lol. Na, I always have my phone/e mails with me so I gues I'm never fully away, but when I work out, I work out.

On a side note, my appetite is not rising like I had hoped. It's all I can do to get down my lunch. Anyone have any good ways to prepare/eat your chicken? I usually marinate it but since I added the brown rice, I need something extra in there. Any ideas?

Mrs. Dash Southwest Chipotle seasoning. Rub it on the chicken, grill it up, toss in your rice, and add some Sri Racha Chinese hot sauce. Stir it up in a bowl or some tupperware and you've got a delicious meal!...I also add in gobs of broccoli. :) - Dat der test-boosting I3C!
 
Thats the exact seasoning I use...I think. But at the risk of sounding like a complete puss, I bought some of the Sri Racha sauce and umm yea...a little too hot for me :shocked:

I like to throw some ranch in my brown rice and some honey if I am feeling swirly. If I am wanting to avoid the fat, I will throw in ranch powder. All the taste, none of the fat! :food:

DAY 5-8

Weight: 177 (+2)

Epi Dosage @ 30MG ed.

Sides/Thoughts:

-No sides to report as of yet so that is good. Not that I'm expecting too much from Epi as far as sides but ya know.
-Appetite still hasnt kicked off like I had hoped. I really need this to get better because I'm sick of having to force my food down.
-Mood is fine. Not really any change one way or another.

-Diet was a little off this weekend but not by much. I had a cheat meal at my company pool party and last night we had some WW pasta for my gf's going away dinner. But other than that, it was good. I got my protein in both days so that's the most important thing.
-Seem to be a slight bit thicker. But I suspect this to be some water since I was coming off a low carb and held little to none during that time.

DC Workout 3 and 4

A2
Incline Smith Press: Final RP was 185 5/2/1. Got off to a bad start with this one. I know I can get more than this but something just didnt feel right on the last try. Oh well.
Chest Stretch W/ 40's for 60 sec.

Smith Shoulder Press: Final RP was 120 8/5/3 First time ever for this exercise.
Shoulds Stretch

Skull Crushers: Final RP was 70 10/6/6
Tri Stretch: Stretched it really well this time. Finally got the correct position.

Rack Chins: Final RP was 10/6/3 with 25lbs. First time doing these but I like :).
Back Stretch w/ no weight

DB Rows: Final RP was 45 10/5/5
Back Stretch w/ no weight.

Kinda dissapointed with the weight I pushed today. But when I woke up on Sat and Sun, I was feeling it BAD. So I know I got a lot out of this w/o.


B2 (today)

Incline DB Curls: Final RP was 40 8/5/3
Bi Stretch

Rev Grip EZ Bar Curls: Final SS was 60x12. Need to up the weight here.
Bi Stretch

Quad Stretch

This w/o was a little weird. Super busy day at work might have made me lose a little focus. I didnt have much intensity which is not usually me. We'll see how I feel tomorrow.

So far I like DC. It's not that I think it's some revolutionary/groundbreaking w/o scheme, it's just that I like it and I feel it will work for me. It's a proven routine with a 3 day split which is good for me right now.

Will be upping the Epi dosage to 40mg tomorrow :)
