Do you recall your reps?
I can't do that. 225lbs on the squats is considered heavy for me (right now).
Squat Press: 350lbs SUPERSETTED w/ V-Squat: 225lbs= BEAST MODE
Well, TUT, bro. I think I was doing 4 or 5 on the V-Squat and 5 or 6 on the Squat Press, but my warmup set on the Squat Press was 20+ at the same weight. It's actually a very nice piece of equipment. I've never used it before. I like it much better than the regular Sled.
TUT, 4-5 reps with 225lbs. I struggle to do 4-5 reps on 225 regular pace. How does the back feel now?
People look at my low working weight
Alright-alright, that's enough of that low working weight business. You're not helping my healing process.
I feel ya. It's not so bad. I have to dead lift next to people that I should be pulling double to in comparison, but when we're pulling "around" the same weight and they look at themselves and look at me. Their ego goes up whilst mine shoots on down, accompanied by forcible shrinkage as a result.
It's all good though, I'm grateful to be doing deads, period.
Yep. I'm happy I can still move and get in the gym. I'm sure I'd be able to keep the same leg size or even grow without ever doing BB Squats again, but that doesn't mean I don't want to do them, you know? They're just...awesome.
That's pretty much what I felt like. I've gotten over the humbling aspect of low weight on TUT. People look at my low working weight, and then look at my massive pump after I rack it, and often seem very confused.
TUT ain't no joke. It's PAINFUL stuff, but an excellent workout. Although, I can't say I want to stay on it much longer. I'd love to move some heavy weight. It's doable for everything other than my lower back and legs. :sad3:
oh for sure. Though with deads came a lot of muscular and strength benefits, I've built my back just fine without it for a couple of years. Not to sound douchey, but clearly my traps have not suffered from my lack o'deads. Was that douchey?
No doucheyness that I noticed.
I saw some dude doing Dead Rows today (I just made that term up cause it sounds sweet)...He was doing Deads with an Upright Row at the top. Aren't those called "Complex Movements?" - When you have multiple exercises in the same repetition...?
Dead Rows is pretty much just the first 2/3rds of a clean and press... without turning your wrists up. He must have been going relatively light?

135 I believe. The dude is real athletic looking; ripped to shreds. I see him in there every morning usually. We don't talk too much, but usually give the fist shake and share lifting information here and there.
Might as well ban baseball caps, and those little beanie (no propeller) things the Jews rock.

:haha: you were like 140 back then prolly.
with abzzzzzzzzz
You're a single man now. Aren't you supposed to be scoping the checkout lines for attractive cashiers? I do anyways. Makes grocery shopping a little more enjoyable.
Solid thread... You might get back in the green in your 50s.
Bahahah! I just read that and it's actually quite funny. I'm confused why you're not getting lots of positive reps for that.
Ya, B5150 will wreck you.
He'll more than likely never see green...might as well get banned and start from scratch.
C'mon guys. Did you not see I supersetted Squat Press and V-Squat today WITH a busted back? Give me some props here!
PROPS!! i would give you reps but i'm still around the -400000 point region.
thanks for all the reps guys.
i think i'll start a thread and see how many reps i can get just to get positive again.
It will come in time grasshopper. Patience.
so are you saying that i should leave it alone and work for it? i've found that acting like a bum sometimes can get you more, faster.
i guess what you say as a friend can't hurt as bad as -500000. hahalol. Don't be a moron and start random threads. Please.
got my points back!
If you +repped someone when you had -400000.... Do you think that would be a 400000 point neg? If so, I want to be -400000...
Just go piss off the Godfather...:ar15firing:
What are you talking about? lol
I think any negative amount of rep points just equals 0 rep power. So even if he repped you at -400k, you'd just stay the same.
One of my managers and I have discovered it quite fun to speak jibberish while there are customers around; unfortunately we've also found that Asian customers don't appreciate it...still funny, though.
hong I! toy-YA! toy-YAA!!!!
Plus, I need to tell another funny that happened yesterday...
Another dude I work with was flirting with this chick he was checking out. I picked up a clipboard (to look manager-like) and walked by him and said, "Hey, you're doing great here, but when you're done checking her out, I need you to go in back and clean up the toilet. Someone left a mess. Make sure you get in there nice and deep...(as I'm walking off) Thaaaaanks!"
