hey CT... popping in here to say hello... haven't been around much.
hope everything is going well.

Full update later on, but here is that mess of a video I promised, hahaha. In just like a day's time or so, i'm already a thousand times better than that. I have to get another video up ;)

The crappy part was I was braggin to my buddy that I hit like a full set of squats without falling the day before...and now I fell on friggen one squat. I know he's gonna attack me about that when he sees this :006:

haha when I already have 2 knees that are seriously cut to crap from trying to learn some BJJ stuff with a buddy....Indo inside is perfectly fine for me ;)

yeah absolutely. Half of it is mental, haha. you look at it and you're like..."yea right". haha. Its slightly intimidating to start...but once you actually jump up there, it goes away fast.

I love working with balance boards! It certainly can knock you down a peg or two..... when I was working at the hockey training center some of the kids wanted to see me attempt what we had them doing (i.e. squats on the balance boards), I jumped on and did the same thing you did, they laughed, I got mad and banged out 20 reps perfect form for them... completely out of spite. :D

I dig the shooter tutor in the background!

Day 80

Summary
Well...here we are again. The reason I say that is I think I need to create a new log again. This one was in training for my boys arrival and it turns out....they're here!!! I know i've already posted pics and you already KNOW they're here....but I wanted to say it again :).

I am going to continue this log until I think of a slick name for the next one....but I sure hope people decide to come on in. Today I played a bit of tennis for my workout but that was about it. I am turning it up a notch starting tomorrow. No joke...i'm really getting into gear now.

1. They are both over 6lbs at birth so thats awesome! Aiden is 8 ounces heavier right now though.
2. Aiden's hair is actually thicker than Riley's if you can believe it, haha. Its pretty darn intense! Both of them have also opened their eyes at me already and farted on me so that was nice
3. Mom is healthy and tired.
4. No diapers ALONE yet....but I did help with both and put some bacitracin on them and such.
5. They are like...amazing. Aiden sleeps A LOT (I know all babies do...but this is different). he falls asleep while eating, haha. Riley is great...he has a lot of gas, like...a lot. Aiden likes to spit up a good deal too.

You're totally right....I love that scene, and that movie for that exact reason. You put your all into something and believe it...and it's going to happen for you. Screw anyone who says differently.
 
I just had a real good workout and now im showering up and gonna spend some time with my boys. I think it's definitely going to be a good day :approve:

haha I have to see if they are lactose intolerant first so I know what kind of protein and brand to go with...duh.

actually if you saw them, they don't need protein right now...lol. They are big for twins and trust me, also strong!
 
And if Riley is already farting like you say, more protein might be a bad idea. :)

Summary
Sorry I didnt get this up last night everyone. Some people asked me if I wanted to get a celebratory drink and I decided to meet up since it's been ages since i've seen them. Only had 2-3 drinks so I didn't KILL yesterdays hard work....and I will get back to work today.

Yesterday morning I had a fun weight session and then I went to see my boys and then I hit an hours worth of tennis. I am going to try and sneak in as many "two a days" as I can to try and work this into shape faster. We'll see how it goes!

Summary
Well since I didnt get to do my online stuff last night because I went out, I ended up not having an AM workout today because I was doing internet stuff instead. I will be doing a weight workout tomorrow morning for sure though. I did play some afternoon tennis today which was good, before it started raining that is. We got about an hour in but I was hitting GREAT and I wish we could have kept going.

Day 83​
Summary
Since no one has tried to give me any creative names just yet for a new log....I guess I am going to run this one into sunday (end it on Father's Day), and then Monday begin a new one. I hope people will come follow along...I could use the support.

Today I was very happy being with my boys and then I had a good KB workout. I wanted to workout in the AM and run in the PM...but I just had too much to get done this morning. I was outrageously sweaty and ravenously hungry by the time this workout was done. Maybe because I used some Crushing Punch Ragnarok beforehand...and I rarely use Ragnarok instead of Cre-02 anymore...PLUS I normally go caff free and this was the caff version.

Day 84​
Summary
Well firstly, thanks to everyone that has so far said they'll be following along in my new log. I havent yet thought of a name...but im not overly concerned really, haha.

Yesterday was wild in many ways. I played 2 hours of tennis which drained the crap out of me, and then I ate terribly. I would say both of my cheat meals for the week were wrapped up in yesterday. First was that "odd" foods buffet where I tried things like KimChi and Frogs Legs for the first time ever. Most of the food was good...but yeah, not great for you. Then ended up going out again just to get to hangout with my best friend and his girlfriend...but they wanted dinner so we went to Red Robin (Yummmmm) and I got a burger that I barely touched....but I drank 2 margaritas, haha.

I am doing this update now, taking a shower, spending time with my boys, figuring out a workout for today, and then who knows what...lol. All I know is spending money is not an option for a few days.

Definitely had Frogs Legs for the first time. They didnt really taste like anything though. A lot of people have said it tastes like chicken...but I was expecting that and honestly, it didnt taste like anything at all.

Ive wanted to try KimChi for a long long time now....and the Frog's legs were inspired by watching Andrew Zimmern. I said out loud "i'd try them" and my buddy didnt think I would and he said "if you do, I will too"...and that was that :)
 
I've heard that frog legs are very hard to cook right. Supposedly, a very light breading and frying them is the best way to have them. Emphasis on "light breading." That's just what I'm told. I've never had them before. I remember I'd always go to the supermarket with my mom when I was little and liked to look at them. I always thought it was so weird that people ate frogs. Even when I was little I had thoughts like, "Only a poor person would have to eat frogs." - Aren't they down-home, Southern, on the bayou type food?
