That's pretty sad, but I guess the best will always have the jealous haters out there. But USP Labs supplements speak for themselves, so the haters can keep there pout faces on, while I stay a very happy satisfied customer:D

Thank you for your support! I think anyone that systematically leaves a feedback, especially a negative one, for a product he/she never used must have a deeply disturbed personality.

The amount in Recreate is just enough to make my joints a bit stiff. Wouldn't the dose you recommend me be way higher than what is in Recreate? If the effective dose is 3 grams, why so little in Recreate? Has anyone used these large doses for a period of time that can report on joint health and similar sides? I know some people have problems sleeping on large amounts of cortisol blockers, as well.
Firstly, Recreate was designed to attack fat loss from a multitude of angles. Consequently, a variety of target compounds were required in the matrix, including Coffea Arabica L. Its role and amount in Recreate are sufficient to induce fat loss in synergy with the other agents. The recommended dose of VAT Attack! is necessarily higher than its amount in Recreate. That was (is) the whole idea! Single-compound products give users the opportunity to dose more flexibly and higher than amounts of the same compound in a formula.
Secondly, VAT Attack! is targeted at noticeable visceral fat loss, without mentioning the myriad of metabolic advantages that come with this. As a consequence, a correspondingly higher dose (than found in Recreate) is required (and recommended).
Thirdly, it is for me frankly surprising that you experience joint problems on Recreate. As USPLabs mentioned a few posts earlier, a reduction in high cortisol levels should actually improve, not worsen, joint problems, as elevated cortisol levels correspond to an inflammatory state. Sleep should also improve not worsen.

love how this has negative reviews already...I call these folks losers, haters and envious, but I love that they follow me every little foot step. We must be doing something right.

These dummies just do not understand they are only feeding our popularity.

They must have been deleted now since I don't see any reviews, negative or positive. It would be nice if they only let people who actually bought the product review it. It wouldn't be that hard to do since you have to log in anyways.

is this caffeine free forms of coffee bean extract? i ask because caffeine dramatically raises cortisol levels so I don't see how this would work if there is caffeine in it. thanks

like someone else asked, what times of the day should this be taken? If it's a form of coffee, will it keep me up @ night? Would this powder mix in my morning coffee, or is that a little too much?
^^^
OMG does ANYBODY read thru threads anymore before they post???

2nd post in the thread:

Do you really think that something that is directed to be taken before bed is going to be done if it will cause sleep issues?
Man, feels like I'm in grade school sometimes.
Come on man, the answer was no more than fifteen posts above you! To clarify, this is an extract from a Coffee Bean, just as Caffeine itself is an extract.

is this caffeine free forms of coffee bean extract? i ask because caffeine dramatically raises cortisol levels so I don't see how this would work if there is caffeine in it. thanks

I dont believe they are extracting caffeine from the coffee bean...different component I assume.

USP...can you explain to me what I am assuming? Not that caffeine increases cortisol levels I hope? I mean, if you are a cutting edge supplement company, I would hope you know this. But I appreciate your sarcasm. If you read my post correctly, you would see that I was asking if this has caffeine in it because it comes from coffee as well. Since it is an extract, maybe it is void of the caffeine...hence the question does it have caffeine in it? can you take it at bed and still sleep well? and please clear up this final question for me.....do you think that caffeine does not raise cortisol levels?

I appreciate your thoughtful responses to my questions. I need to freshen up on my science. The old school cortisol blockers definitely did a number on my joints, but they likely had a more significant effect on ATCH. There is a well documented correlation between excessively low cortisol and joint pain, though. I'm not suggesting that will be an issue with VAT Attack!. I was curious as to your thoughts on the issue.

Though all of your questions are answered in the Q and A and write-up, I will answer them for you in kind:

a) Does it have caffeine in it? - no.

b) Can you take it at bed and still sleep well? - yes.

Is there any reason *NOT* to use alpha-yohimbe (rauwolfia), DCP, etc. w/ VAT Attack (or Recreate)? I've been hoping for something like this for too long....

yes im looking at different components of coffea aribica, and cholergenic acid is the only substance i find to make any sense. I had no clue the something in coffe, could be extracted high enough, to reduce cortisol.

Any thoughts, or comments on cholergenic acid?

If it is, ive been looking for an extract of this for a while, thatd be nice.

With all due respect, I think you may be a bit confused! To my knowledge, there is no significant inhibitory action on 11B-HSD1R from the Cholinergic system. If I recall correctly, it is the other way around in certain tissues, insofar as Cortisol down-regulating the expression of cholinergic receptors [can't recall if it was nicotinic or muscarinic, though].

chlorogenic(spelled it wrong) acid, does not affect the cholergenic system.

Its an antioxidant found in coffe.

Oh wow, I should read more carefully. Considering there is no Cholinergic Acid, I thought you were terribly confused! Yes, I am aware of Chlorogenic Acid.

At any rate, certain research points to CGA not being an effective inhibitor of 11B-HSD1R, whether through transcriptional-inhibition, or through co-factor inhibition [limiting glucose-6-phosphate uptake, for example]. CGA has been shown to irreversibly inhibit the enzyme known as hexose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase, which begins the so-called, pentose phosphate pathway. This enzyme uses NADP [nicotinamide adenine phosphate] and another intermediate to oxidize glucose-6-phosphate into NADPH. NADPH is then substrate used for certain anabolic reactions, such as the lipid and cholesterol biosynthesis, sex hormone biosynthesis and so forth. It was thought that CGA, then, would inhibit 11B-HSD1R by this same mechanism; however, several in vivo trials with CGA reveal that Cortisol excretion, plasma Cortisone : Cortisol ratio, and 11B-HSD1R mRNA remain relatively unchanged. A lack of change in 11B mRNA seems to suggest a lack of co-factor or transcriptional inhibition, and therefore a lack of a certain compound stopping biosynthesis!

At any rate, it seems that while Chlorogenic Acid may play a part in the wider polyphenol picture of Coffee Bean Extract, it may not be the only, or even main, player.

Thanks great response!

Chlorogenic Acid, i think is a worthwhile addition to stims for heart health as ive heard.Thats why i was interested.

But youre not revealing the main compenent? I concurred.
Im just intrigued because im wondering what in the coffe bean extract that lower cortisol. Illl guess youll only know mullet:eek:mfg:

what's the 'half-life' of the 11beta-HSD inhibition?

Was wondering how much tweakage was available...totally did not expect that answer!

So given all, I'm thinking 2g on rising w/ 2 scoops of Endomax, then another 3 grams VA spaced more-or-less-evenly thru the day. For stacking, I was thinking 'kitchen-sink'....

I believe the study displayed 11b-HSD1R mRNA being lowered for <3hr. Unfortunately, this is really not telling of the main indicator of Cortisol-inhibition: cortisone: cortisol plasma ratio, and urinary cortisol levels! And so, we know this potently lowers Cortisol, but the AUC is unknown.

Well got my two jars in today. Must say it smells great. My gf and I are going to start it tomorrow. Going to do 3 grams a day. (1gx3) All the science talk is great, but the bottom line is try it and see if it works. So a 30 day trial should tell me what I want to know.

USP - What is with the hard clumps in the jars? Best way to break up without losing too much?

Well, damn.

I really shouldn't have run through the first week at 6g per day then. Oh well, down to 3. I sure hope its sooner than 6 weeks.

There are a few positive comments here and there from some that have been using it for up to two weeks or so. There is even a thread here on VAT Attack first impressions. I hope formal logs will emerge as soon as more buyers receive their orders and begin to use the product.

Try crushing or grinding them with a spoon or a similar hard object.
