I honestly have never met anyone who this isn't true for. Without one of those, there would have to be the internal question of "what is my life about, and what is it worth, what will be left when I die", which has to be filled with something. I suppose it could be filled with career, just haven't met anyone who it was and wasn't also using drugs/alcohol![]()
lots of sex. thats what i was trying to say in my post
"if ur not in a relationship or having sex on a regular basis...ur doing drugs"
None of the good things Ive done ever gotten me anything more than footprints on my back :dunno:
*Eh too much text so I jest remove it. Gov't gona be head huntin people soon, so...Gotta make it to the breaking point.*
do good deeds just to get where?
Could just be my natural hate towards what my race has become, and the lame excuse for humans most people are and a desire to be different than them. At any rate, at the rate out countries going, there just may be some chances to prove stuff ^.^
Hell if you could pull off a dirty bomb at all the spring break locations, you would clean out the gene pool a bit.
Edit: But in all honesty, I am probably too ice a guy to do anything unless there was a catalyst involved.
The good deeds deal goes in hand with some people who go to church and say that they do good deeds just to get to heaven ... It's not a finger point, it is just observing the culture over the past 20+ years.
Dirty bombing, perhaps, you may have a point. However, this is a drastic way to solve a poor gene problem, lol....i would wager that the depression which may set in from learning that their loved ones was killed on a spring break trip may set forth some type of "baby boomer" revolution again...sort of like the economy is doing now.
I just live and let. I am not proud of how my race acts out all the time, though i've been impressed by a few hundred people.
Everytime I see some 18 year old kid with their pants hanging down below their a$$ and tatoos all over their body (not that tatoos are evil, but they have no idea why people orginally got tatoos and if they knew, most would probably not want them or why people were forced to wear baggy pants-slave era, not prision era) and thinking that basketball is the only way to be successful, I hurt...yet, I can still not just say, burn the race and everything will be peaches and cream. Individuals have to learn for themselves.
zero the cloverfield was fucckin hilarious
elaborate.

Have you actually read and studied for yourself what Jesus taught. Everything that Jesus taught transcends culture, ethnicity and time. Those are the foundations of Christianity's principles.
You have intellectuals quote philosophers and psychologists and their theories and principles who have been dead for hundreds of years yet those can be considered valid foundational principles?
Everything that Jesus taught is as valid a foundational principle today as it was 2000 years ago.
These foundational principles do not conform to the ebb and flow of the state and condition of mankind.
If u think I'M going to hell, thats effecting me. so thats "interfering".
the second part u said everyone is right because u cant prove it wrong....FIRST u have to prove something exist right? ...before u can prove it wrong? basically...in court (in reality) it would not hold up. all we have to go by in this lifetime is reality.....fantasy is not real
Eh, I suppose.
I never really sought out any answers on the matter. I sort of have put myself in a position of just allowing the path to take me where it goes (well, early 20's i did that) Also, for the last 13 years or so, i've been so engaged in taking care of elderly parents until I really have had little time to think about those particulars. I've always been the dry guy at social gatherings, or parties (when I did those types of things)...sort of always been the square in the bunch whom did not partake.
Now that i've lost one parent, I suppose there is a void left there for something, so I decided to do a masters in engineering as soon as Im done with my 2nd bachelors(fitness realm) ... I guess kids are in the making within another 12 months, depends on my wife's choice i suppose.
Our DNA is SO closely related to other animal species it only makes sense that life evolved from something more primitive.
Ironic.Your probably the closest person to understanding :worried:
Italicization is a sin...? :dunno:I take no offense B, but every time you italicize curse words I basically cant see you as a Christian either.
Dude, you are all over the place. Disregard my previous comments. I'm beginning to understand.Murder and stealing a loaf of bread are both a sin, and sin all has the same punishment, no? I say shiz, frigging, fudge. I cant even cuss. Feels nasty. So if you are a man of faith, you place yourself on the same side of the line, no? I see you do it often, and at first it surprised me.
I pull no act, its all as real as it is. I want answers, simple as that. I may be a Christian, but there are things I have to find out. In all likely hood I will probably wisen up a bit, become a more calm person, and settle down and have kids later in my 20s and adapt a much more conservative attitude maybe on par with yours. Only 4 friends have ever see me display acts of anger anyways. The thought of death intrigues me, I truly wanna know what it feels like to leave the body. No one in my church would claim against me, and they know I am pretty harsh minded.
And if for a second you dont think I am filled with the holy spirit, then you are wrong. But no way to prove that but being there in person. There is no hate in me. Anger, yes. Violent preferences to solve an issue, yes. Hate, no.
The idea of a civil war in America is like Christmas to me. Sometimes you just need that white light that fills your mind from a fight, from being near death, from barely surviving, or from laying there fading. I have different desires than you do, or could probably care to understand. Corruption, and greed run this country. To be able to personally cease the existence of people responsible for that would be like graduating with a Doctors degree.
Do I go around banging women? No, do I drink and puke my brains out? no, do I do meth, or speed, or acid, or insert drug here? no....I give strangers rides home because I trust God, I gave a guy outside steak n shake who I just met my shirt, because he didnt have one and needed to go somewhere (he was telling a lie I believe, but I have duties). I watch peoples houses and dogs for them. I hold open doors for people everytime. SO tell me how I am failing at this so horribly? Because I am not so peace minded? Driving out to the middle of nowhere to give people jumps, must make me bad too right?
Simply put it would all be fine if I was wearing an army uniform, and talking about terrorists. But since its directed at other issues that break apart our nation such as criminals(I believe drug lords should be executed on spot) I believe with crimes we need tribunals, and no more life sentences, anything over 20 years = execution.
I may be harsh, but I never judge a person for their closeness to God, because I have seen guys slam down liqueur who are closer to God then most people will be.
Be sure to say a prayer for me since I am so far gone, aight?
Who was it that said "Kill them all, God will recognize his own"?
What's the relevance of this to my statement?Bigchourico said:Have you actually read and studied for yourself what Jesus taught. Everything that Jesus taught transcends culture, ethnicity and time. Those are the foundations of Christianity's principles.

How do you explain Dinosaurs...Satan put them there to mess with our faith??
Why does that point to evolution? it only takes 1 miniscule portion of 1 gene to make a difference between a child being born, and a child being a miscarriage, or take your pick of other things - eye color, etc. Its like with chemical nomenclatures of steroids, trying to place more meaning ("The ONE is just like epistane because their nomenclatures are similar" was a funny one I heard) is just silly, a 0.01% difference in genetic code makes a huge difference. Although maybe its a slight plus in the direction of evolution its not proof. Why are there so many "missing links" between all the species then? Why haven't we found good fossil evidence of clean crossovers from any species to another?
I appreciate the statement. I first believed just like most, for salvation and inherently there was a reciprocation or gratitude love. Then as I grew to know Jesus more intimately and experienced Him working in my life I grew to love Him differently and more deeply. But, most people, I would argue to say B5150, probably does not JUST BELIEVE only to "get into heaven" or lives a Christian life just because it's a big payoff in the end...that would be doing it for greed. If he truly believes then it is because he loves jesus and is doing it for that sole reason...
OK.Yes, as a matter of fact, I have. I spent the first 18 years of my life very involved with the Christian Church.
I said the foundations are fine. That being said, I just happen to disagree that water can be changed to wine, that people can walk on water, that people raise from the dead like zombies, that the angel of death came and killed all the babies in egypt except for ones who's parents put blood on their doors.... etc etc etc.
The ten commandments are great rules to follow. I think the majority of Jesus' teachings have good morals to help teach people to live their life by. Do I take it literally? Of course not.
I think that the Bible is a great way to tell an elaborate story to prove a moral point at the end. But at the same time, so are Disney movies.
The fact that Jesus' story follows the Heroic Journey (english class anyone?) makes it seem a lot more like a story and less like history.
So do I think it is an actual account of history? My goodness no.
I think it is great that you do, if it works for you then more power to ya.
Ironic.
Italicization is a sin now...:dunnoude, you are all over the place. Disregard my previous comments. I'm beginning to understand.
ya, people who talk sense usually think alikeIronic.
Interesting, maybe taking care of your parents gave your life that sense of meaning.
If i have any children, i won't have that hard core experience to be able to say "yeah, i know personally what cocaine does to you" but I do have a common sense mind set and knowledge of what it does through studying paths so perhaps this will be enough.
Truthfully, having used before doesnt help either, as you certainly don't want to glamorize it any more than the celebrities already do, and if you want to guarantee your child doing something just tell them that you did it when you were younger, and tell them they can't do it because its bad![]()
Everything is just theory. The difference is some people pass these theorys off as truth. Thats the problem....The only real truthful answer is "i dont know"...because we dont. we are part of something so spectacular that we cannot possibly wrap our minds around it right now..
Yes they are shallow...maybe happy, but shallow. There are galaxys and blackholes out there we know nothing about....and yet your going to believe in some little story written on earth LOL!!!....i mean r u f*cking with me, seriously?I second that, but id end with a more positive note.
:usa1:Freedom of Religion!!!People have the right to believe anything they want, as long as they dont infringe on others personal rights
Religious people arent shallow, man. Get on the peace train.
Quit with the name calling!Yes they are shallow...maybe happy, but shallow. There are galaxys and blackholes out there we know nothing about....and yet your going to believe in some little story written on earth LOL!!!....i mean r u f*cking with me, seriously?

wrong. i do not have an opinion...therefor i cannot be shallow.I disagree. You might think they are misled, but you can't group religious people into "shallowness". It's actually pretty shallow of you to say that. Religious people could be shallow, but so could atheists. Your logic is like saying "Everyone from the southeast US is a redneck", or "all Asians are bad drivers". Stereotypes don't help us at all.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and that's why we live in this country.
I mean, I like to argue my points of view, but we don't have to insult people.
